"You are the protagonist.." (MHA 344) dumbest shit i've ever seen.

Everyone's special, everyone gets a car, everyone matters, everyone's the protagonist, you are the protagonist.

Lmfao, Horikoshi doesn't get the concept of a main character lmfao.

Somehow Avatar The Last Airbender managed to juggle 3-5 mains overtime (Keyword: OVER+TIME), and characterize it's anti-hero/antagonists without taking away from the mains, all without this "everyone's a special snowflake" bullshit.

In MHA, you don't matter for 300 chapters, until you suddenly do lol Quirks serve as the ideal plot devices man. You can negate, reverse, and contrive anything you want. From copying powers, cloning + Copying powers, to mending a mfing heart with the fibers of your own body.

Just. Wow.

And what' i've noticed by reading the Manga specifically is: Horikoshi has this passive aggressive way of using the story at times to address criticism. Like for example:

You point out that something a character does is stupid.

Uses the character next bundle of chapters to point out what they're doing is stupid, but the character does it anyway.

Author is self-conscious that his story has too many characters

Uses characters as the mouthpiece (AFO, Bakugou) to call everyone meaningless extras, buuuuut he keeps adding characters anyway & contradicting his own words by insisting everyone matters.

Audience is steadily pointing out that there's too many goddamn characters, Todoroki's family drama hijacking the story for TOO MUCH of the story when it doesn't need to. A bunch of kids in 1A that seriously are on the level of importance as the Cabbage man but for some reason get backstories.

He'll deadass use a character to say there's "no such thing as a side character."

The ego on this guy, he doesn't know what he wants to do.

In Horikoshi's world, everyone is a special boy and special girl.

Despite one being better than everyone else. Objectively better.

And the one hero that could possibly match him is now fucking dead. And should have been the main character, along with Mirio.

Deku has the ingredients of a beloved side character, not a main character.

Or the narrator for someone else's story which when you really look at it in retrospect that's where he ended up, way before the ending.

Shuzo from (Now and Then, Here and There) THAT is a main character, imagine that boy with One For All? SHEESH!

Mirio, now this woman, Cathleen. All Might potentials, both better characters than Deku, oof.

Once again biting my pillow at the scene of Sasuke killing Orochimaru. I know 100% of Naruto is about grooming but this scene? This fucking scene?

Orochimaru telling him he's a baby and Sasuke being like "yes, of course I am, this is why you targeted me"? The way Sasuke's expression changes and he immediately looses his composure and control the second Orochimaru reminds him of Itachi and he has a flashback? I feel like I am dying every fucking time.

I know Dokja's plan is to get her out ASAP but I'm actually vaguely feeling like this may be the one plan that he fails in?

For one, I'm actually a little worried that maybe she won't be able to come out for her own safety? Or that the world itself/the Fourth Wall literally won't let her? Because they're already pretty heavily hinting that Sangah is going to read TWSA (and everything else) while she's in there and also that it "might be a truth she can't handle."

Dokja has the Fourth Wall to stop all of the secrets of TWSA from leaking out into the general world but Sangah doesn't, so I'm wondering if it could be a real possibility that constellations may attack her the instant she steps out and Dokja will have to leave her in there until the end of the story when they're no longer a threat? Or maybe even the Fourth Wall itself may not allow her to leave because her knowing all the details of TWSA would put Dokja in danger by proxy.

Also the Fourth Wall did not seem too happy with Dokja and so I worry how that might affect both Sangah and Dokja in the future…

For two, I'm sort of wondering if Sangah will even want to come out? Like, so far everyone in the library seems pretty content? I mean, granted, they also state that the Fourth Wall can turn them "into the dust of the story," so maybe they're not really keen on saying otherwise, but in general I get the vibe that it's a peaceful existence in there and Sangah has not only gone through all these horrible scenarios for years, but we've learned that her life before that wasn't really sunshine either. (Also, seeing pre-scenarios Dokja from her POV was awesome.)

Not to mention Dokja's reincarnation idea. Who knows when she'll be born? As what? Where? If it's a choice between being born as some baby on the other side of the world (or even in another version of TWSA!) and having to spend years growing (and hopefully not being killed in a scenario and having to start all over again) she may elect to stay in the library and read about Dokja & the gang's efforts. Especially since Dokja literally points out to Nirvana "that isn't a matter for you to decide." It's a matter for Sangah to decide.

Or, idk, maybe she will reincarnate and that'll be the last we see of her because she'll be off being a baby or a frog or something.

So, I guess we'll see, but I won't be terribly surprised if Dokja goes through all this effort and Sangah chooses to stay. Or has to stay. At least for now.
