notes: 

1. they’ve been roommates since even before they got together. 

2. for a few weeks after they got together, they kept their relationship a secret from the media and the public. Sergei was the first person to know about their relationship, he was (and still is) super supportive and also encouraged them and reminded them to keep things a secret for the time being, especially with their new comeback coming up. but their cover was quickly blown because neither Vladimir nor Vasili can help themselves skdjfb 

3. in the endgame they adopt four children! 

4.  they both want to feel free to be who they are and express themselves. and they both really appreciate people who appreciate them for who they are and what they’ve done to be proud of, not trying to force them to be people they’re not or do things they wouldn’t. luckily they find that in each other as well as the others in Thin Ice!

5. if this means crashing through a door/window/wall and subsequently saying hello, then very much yes because that’s such a Vladimir thing to do xD 

6. in theory? hell yes. in AUs where they will actually enter the battlefield together? even more hell yes. 

7. technically??? their relationship came some time after they had each lost the company of someone they once thought they knew. for Vladimir, it was his older sister Maria, after she went away to university and she completely changed into (for lack of a better word) a seemingly soulless workaholic. (I’ve talked about this before.) for Vasili, it was an ex he loved dearly until their relationship became more long-distance, after which she grew colder and more distant over the years that followed. it hurt since he thought they knew each other and that things could work between them even though they were two years apart. Vasili was the one to break the relationship off. 

8. they’re the ones to announce their relationship. (later edit: I’m gonna put this far later in the timeline than originally because... I just like it better that way) and of course either one of them are more often than not up to declare how much they love the other, especially when the other is feeling down xD 

9. one of the tracks on the new thin ice album, adventure together, is “I Don’t Care” (original by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber) but it’s a Vasili and Vladimir duet :D

notes: 

1. Sergei knows his parents will disapprove since they’re the kind of parents who make it terrifying to be anything but straight. while Valeri has a feeling that his relationship with two other men will become yet another thing his younger sister chastises and teases him about if she finds out about it, so he doesn’t say anything to her. Aleksandr isn’t entirely sure how his mother would feel, she might be unfamiliar with the concept of poly relationships and/or fret that her son will end up being a third wheel, even though she did support him when he came out as bi a number of years ago. 

2. they wait quite a long time to reveal the true circumstances of their relationship. at least 3 months after it starts. maybe even longer. so they keep things a secret from at least the media. 

3. in the endgame they adopt six children! 

4. Valeri and Sergei share a room and a bed, while Aleksandr switches rooms about every other night. when Aleksandr is with Valeri and Sergei, all three of them cuddle up together! the bed in that room belongs to all three of them, they always say. 

5. every now and then one of them will worry about being the third wheel, only to be reassured by the other two that it won’t happen anytime soon. they’re quite careful in making sure one isn’t left out. Aleksandr is the worrier the most because he doesn’t room with Valeri and Sergei every single day/night. which Valeri and Sergei are aware of, and as much as they love their time together they also love being with Aleksandr, so they make sure to give him lots of love too! 

6. they have tried. they have tried to all cram into the bathtub of the dorm together. it’s only worked around twice and with very... interesting positions xD but getting into those positions is a pain, so whenever the three are elsewhere they jump on any chance to bathe together. 

7. their hobbies may be different but they’ve found lots of ways to intertwine them! they’ll go on hikes and out in the snow while taking lots of fun pictures. they’ll make up plays and interpretative dances about some very interesting kinds of dynamics between characters (that Aleksandr has read about from his mother’s psychology books and has found fascinating). 

8. their relationship started off like that. it’s not the one where two people are interested in the same (third) person, it’s the kind of love triangle like in Twelfth Night, where it truly goes three ways between the three love interests. example with these three: Valeri first crushed on Sergei, Sergei first crushed on Aleksandr, and Aleksandr first crushed on Valeri. but then as the others helped them try and get with their crushes, lots of things overlapped and they each ended up falling for both of the other two xD (I’ve talked about this before but it never gets old.) 

9. Valeri ends up being the shortest of the three, despite also being the eldest. Sergei grows a little taller than Valeri, while Aleksandr is easily the tallest. (not by a lot in either case though.) a lot of times, Aleksandr bends down a little to give the other two surprise kisses, which leaves them both flustered and In Sanya Loving Hours every time. Aleksandr is also generally the most affectionate of the three xD though the other two can also be very affectionate when they’re in the mood!

keep conversations with him going, especially ones he’s enjoying! 

help him prepare for things, and reassure him they’ll go well 

improvise scenes with him 

get slushies with him and help him judge them 

alexei: 

be nice to him and those around you in general 

let him know how he can help when he wants to 

cook with him! bring new recipes or pitch in on ones he knows, either works 

hug him, and let him hug you 

musya (she new): 

talk with her! about what, she usually doesn’t mind 

ask her about things that make/have made her happy 

show her songs you think she’ll like 

or duet with her! whether you’re playing an instrument of your own or you’re both playing piano 

yuna: 

be patient with her! and of course kind 

show her or tell her about things around her, she’ll be so curious to know 

when she offers to help, let her help

1. I haven’t confirmed the boys’ heights yet but I always imagine Viacheslav being taller than Alexei. 

2. Alexei’s relationship with Viacheslav’s parents was quick to turn sour when Alexei defended Viacheslav for just wanting to speak his mind, which his parents disapproved of. 

3. one of Viacheslav’s rap songs he wrote in his mid-teenage years is about his friendship with Alexei. the song is even called “Lyusha”, Viacheslav’s nickname for Alexei.  I also love imagining them covering “Battle Scars”, with Viacheslav as Lupe Fiasco and Alexei as Guy Sebastian. it’s gonna go in one of Thin Ice’s mini albums :D

4. they did meet through training to become artists/idols... 

5. if that means one of them crashes through a door/wall/window and says hello, then this one totally applies to them since they would both do that lmaoooo 

6. they cook together! Alexei teaches Viacheslav a lot of things about cooking along the way. 

7. they’re?? friends and lovers at the same time?? or somewhere in between?? yeah, easily defined they’re in a queerplatonic relationship. they don’t even think about it consciously though 

8. they’re so comfortable with each other that neither have had to worry about “Not Ruining Their Friendship”. the only major instance/trend of this is Viacheslav being much more careful about what he says to Alexei and how he behaves towards him in general, Viacheslav really cares about Alexei and he Does Not want to hurt his feelings obv 

9. they pick up hobbies from each other! Alexei teaches Viacheslav a lot about cooking, while Viacheslav teaches Alexei some parkour, and of course they play video games together sometimes!
