At Lunch Today

I ordered a wrap from the sandwich bar. I had always thought that the man who was working behind the bar looked grumpy and tired and that he could care less. Then this happened:

Me: Can I have a chicken Caesar wrap on spinach, please? Man: No. No you may not! Me: *giggles* Man: Did you know we have a new avocado wrap? Me: ORLY? Man: Naaahh...I'm just messin' with you. Me: *giggles again* Man: *puts the wrap together, but the tortilla rips a little* Uh oh...time for the transplant! *grabs another spinach tortilla* Time for the heart transplant! *starts transplanting the filling on the new wrap; then, talking to the first tortilla* Come on, wrap. Don't look into the light! DON'T LOOK!!! *it rips even more in the process* Alas, it's too late. You already looked, dear Horatio. The bravest wrap that ever was. Me: He was the best wrap I ever knew! Man: Farewell, Horatio! See you on the other side! *tosses the tortilla in the trash*

Then he started quoting "The Raven" by Poe, and I lost it. I was laughing so hard, I almost knocked over two different people.

This man is now my favorite.
