it's been a while since we were here; you might know us as @chipminkle-deactivated. regardless, here's our list of main alters who you'll most likely see at some point, in order of activity:

Atlas (Host) 🌫️: I'm here the most, and I hold all of our obsession with fossils/evolution. I also hold any events that are of enough importance to be in daily conversation. Ae/he.

Chip (Emotional Protector) 🐽: she's sweet, despite the things she's done in her source ❤️. He holds all of our memories from the Paz SMP, a Minecraft roleplay server we were in. She/he.

Charlie (Trauma holder/middle) 🐸: Our resident kandi kid, clicks the one that holds all of our bad experiences from ages 9 to 16. Frogs also one of the token fully human alters. click/buzz/meow and any other fun, bright neopronouns.

Remus (Caretaker) 🌠: The main caretaker of the body, and the guy who'll get on your ass about self care /lh. Holds most of our sensory issues and loves space. he/him.

We also have a few miscellaneous other alters who might pop in from time to time, but there's like nearly 100 of us at this point n I do Not have the energy to keep updating this.

A discussion/debate with a friend sparked this drawing. She cannot see any reality where deceit may be a good thing, as the one who lies to myself every day to get through my medical hell, I have a different perspective.

Deception is not only the act of lying, it can be much more. It can be an act of survival.

Supernatural Fics

I’ve written two new Supernatural fics, so I decided to link them here:

Father, Mother, Brother, Soulmate

s14e13: Lebanon - Time does not unravel immediately, but gives the Winchester's a few days. John Winchester has never been the best parent, but he owns up to that. Unfortunately, old habits die hard and Sam cannot go through this again. Mary Winchester's betrayal is just icing on the cake that is his suffering. And Dean? Dean's always been his everything, so why does he let them hurt him?

Or

John tries to not be an ass, is an ass, Mary isn't a good mom, Sam finally lets out 30+ years of parent-related pain, and Dean is the best Brother, Father, and Mother that boy has ever had.

Time in a Bottle With You

A witch de-ages Sam, Dean takes him to the bunker and then leaves to hunt down the witch. Baby Sam won't stop crying, Mary, Auntie Rowena, Sister Charlie, and Uncle Cas can't seem to soothe him without magic or angel mojo, which Dean has expressly forbidden. When Dean comes back everyone learns a thing or two about the brothers and their relationship, and Sam's love of two things: Soft rock and his big brother's singing.

Verse: Canon, but pre-Accepting Anxiety

Summary: What happened that made Roman treat Virgil the way he always did before Sanders Sides started as a series. 

Characters: Roman Sanders, Virgil Sanders,  (some) Deceit Sanders, other Misc. Dark Sides 

Pairings: none

Warnings: Deceit, other dark Sides, heavy prinxiety angst, hurt/comfort, language

“What did I do?” Roman looked up, startled. Virgil was standing at his door, hands in his hoodie pockets. He looked, well, anxious.

“Virgil? What is it?” Roman was confused, to say the least. “What are you going on about?” He put down his pen, giving his full attention to the other Side in his room.

“Before. What did... you suddenly hated me, and I never knew why. What did I do to you that made you hate me so much?” Virgil asked, sitting on his bed. Roman hung his head in shame.

“It wasn’t you. I was just too blind to see it.” Roman looked at him through his eyelashes, too scared to look him in the eyes. Roman let a screen fall behind him, replaying what exactly had happened that day, just a few years back.

It was small things, at first. Papers disappearing, then reappearing in with purple ink all over them, criticizing the ideas on them. Then it was small items of clothing, coming back dyed purple. Next came the notes, calling Roman names and just stabbing him in all his insecurities.  And then, one day, after even more,  it all became too much. Roman and Virgil were already arguing, Virgil having tried to ask Roman to do something with him. But everything had built up. 

“It’s not like you actually want to do anything with me anyways. Not with everything you’ve done.” Roman spat out, tired of it. He was tired of everything that came with being friends with Virgil, lately. He was on edge, he was never around for Roman when Roman needed him, and hell, these days they barely saw each other. Plus, Roman figured that Virgil was the one doing this. No one else in the mindscape used the color purple, the only possible option was Virgil. The one thing that Roman could never figure out was why Virgil had done this to him. 

Virgil looked taken aback. “Princey, what are you talking about?” 

“The way you always eave notes, due my clothes the wrong color? The things you say about my ideas? And you don’t even pretend it’s not you! You’ve just been ignoring me, too anxious to actually say you hate me! Well guess what! I hate you too!” Roman was crying now, hating to be weak in front of his former friend, now enemy.

“Roman, I swear, I don’t know what-” Virgil’s desperate plea was interrupted. 

“Just get out of here and leave me alone, Anxiety.” The creative side hissed. Virgil stared crying, heartbroken, as his now former friend left. Soon enough though, he felt hands on him.

“Come with us, Anxiety. We won’t hurt you the way he has.” The smooth lies were too good, and Virgil didn’t know any better. He went with them, ignoring that he was leaving the light in favor of the darkness. Roman - no, Princey, Creativity, anything but his name - that Side hurt him. Virgil didn’t want to hurt him, but all he knew was that Princey hated him, and Virgil didn’t know why. 

The Dark Sides knew everything. They helped Virgil become one of them, until the time that Virgil and Roman were the best of buds was all but erased from anyone’s memory.

All Virgil could really remember after the argument were the words he had uttered after the fact:

“Well, fuck you too.” 

And then he turned his back on the light sides for what he was then convinced would be forever. 

“Why didn’t you talk to me as soon as you realized it was the others who had orchestrated the whole thing?” Virgil asked, in the present.

“I couldn’t find you, you didn’t want me to see you. Fight or flight, and you flew on a wind I could never catch up to until you wanted me to. And even when you came back - you hated me. And I didn’t want to hurt you again.” Roman admitted. “It may be one of my greatest regrets, you know. You were my best friend, and while I thought it was you, I should have asked.” Roman was cut off by a snort.

“We were kids, Princey. It’s - well, it’s not okay, but I am now.” Virgil looked up at the Creative Side, hopeful.

“Well, if you’re okay, could we maybe be friends again? We never made it official, after all.” Roman offered a lopsided grin as Virgil pretended to consider it before nodding. 

They both got up and hugged each other, smiling the whole time.

“So what brought it up for you?” Roman asked when they pulled apart. Virgil shrugged.

“I’m Anxiety. I never let it go. I was never able to, because I didn’t know that you weren’t talking about me.” Roman hugged Virgil closer, and told Virgil words that would allow them both to finally forgive themselves for what had happened.

“I’m sorry, Virgil.”
