Just a passing thought - but you know how Ayano has bad grades? And how it was so bad she was in summer school even though it was the start of her high school year?

How much of that was because she was genuinely having trouble with school and how much of it was because of Kano replacing her so nobody would notice? Kano - who to my knowledge, didn't go to school.

I could be wrong, but I don't remember Shintaro saying anything about her grades becoming bad in high school, it's safe to assume she was already struggling beforehand, but would she have been getting grades as low as 56 (a grade seen in Toumei Answer) if she were attending school regularly? Or would they at least be passing?

Just a stray thought that keeps bugging me.

Here we are, I’ve finally done some kind of Cookie Run fanart

It’s more human Cookies because I wanted it to be simple and me not have to do much work. Also sort of why there’s no hats

I ended up doing coffee Cookies, mostly because I wanted to draw Latte and Espresso, and after Cappuccino I didn’t know who else to do

I probably could have just done Parfaedia people, but screw it, ingredient connection

I did Affogato prior, hence why he’s not here. Also I’m convinced that I’ve still missed some coffee involved Cookies, probably more recent ones. But I’ve at least drawn some of them

I also only remembered there was an actual Coffee Cookie right after finishing, but I don’t feel like adding her right now

Personally I really like how Latte and Tiramisu came out in particular, and on the other hand, I think Cappuccino and Coffee Candy are the weakest. Hopefully I’ll figure out how to make them look better in the future

In my eyes, Latte here dyes her hair with the blonde highlights, Espresso has some grey streaks forming, Cappuccino’s old and stressed and has white hair happening, Coffee Candy either has her hair darkening more or is also using blonde dye, and Tiramisu just has darker roots

I think I wanted to give Mocha Ray more, like at least a kind of veil/headdress on her head, but I wasn’t sure what kind of thing would work for her. I mean maybe a hijab, but also those are supposed to cover all your hair from what I remember, so it wouldn’t have entirely worked. But I at least gave her freckles, which I think look nice

Also thankfully, because they’re all based on mostly brown things, their original colors can mostly stay, outside of some color tweaking

Also now I want to headcanon Latte and Cappuccino as specifically related. Like he’s maybe her uncle or something. Maybe that’s too big a gap in age, that’s probably gonna put Cappuccino in his 50s, but he’s definitely older than her and I want them related. Maybe he can also be related to Espresso but it’s more distant

Also we need more proper coffee drink Cookies. I know they’re popular OC names, but we can have a few more. Add in a Frappe or Macchiato or even an Iced Coffee or something. Especially in Kingdom, as far as I recall there’s still only three

But yeah, I think that’s about it right now. Hopefully you enjoy this addition to what is supposed to be my regular content

I like to think Dark Choco cutting his hair short is a mix between a Zuko and Iroh situation and a Hunter(TOH) situation

On one hand I'd like to think long hair for guys is the norm in the Dark Cacao Kingdom, like that's just a normal thing and plenty of guys have long hair and it could even be a cultural thing in a way(like with the tied up hair of the fire nation and how Zuko and Iroh cut it)

On the other he looks a LOT like his father, especially with the long hair, and he cut it to try and make the resemblance less prominent(Like with Hunter who cut his hair due to his resemblance to Belos/Caleb)

Either way it was done out of shame and regret, either because he couldn't stand to look like his father after what he did to him or he felt like he didn't deserve to keep the long hair of his kingdom after he was exiled and hurt them so badly- or hell even a mix of both(like in my headcanon)

And I actually think it would be adorable to have a little event like thing to tell their story, like an event talking about dark choco's own past or playing with those tropes in fairytale movies where it actually happened with the storyteller or something

Miyo probably taught Kyuki to develop his shapeshifting and other abilities to some degree so since they're gonna be teaching Choco magic at some point will they ever stop and reflect on this?

Get a sense that they're doing something Miyo did for them back then and get a role reversal deja vu? If so, would this make them realize that they might be starting to take up a kind of important role in someone's life and other people in theirs? Would he be suprised or scared of a repeat and would he try to distance himself?

The way Miyo taught them magic was so up close and personal I think when Kyuki starts teaching Choco they’ll be very standoffish. They’ll explain how they do it and then dismiss Choco being like ‘figure it out yourself. I told you how I did it’

Kyuki isn’t really built for teaching either so I can see them echoing Miyo’s words. Miyo was always better at talking to people and explaining things. I think they’d get so much Deja vu from this situation and absolutely hate it

I think the only thing that lets Kyuki teach Choco is just how different their personalities are. When Miyo taught Kyuki, they drank up every word Miyo said and tried their best. Choco is very abrasive towards Kyuki, so their dynamic is much different. Kyuki can take his frustration out on teasing or snapping at Choco rather than stewing in the past

Kyuki probably would panic that he’s growing closer to Choco, so they’d become a more strict and judgemental teacher than Choco deserves. The more the tanuki dislikes them, the easier it is to teach them

Interesting question, how do Dark Choco Cookie, Éclair Cookie, and Langue de Chat defend their s/o?

Dark Choco Cookie — he will actively fight anyone who threatens his s/o (if his reputation and large frame doesn’t frighten them enough already).

Eclair Cookie — publicly humiliates the other person, using targeted language to leave them floundering before he has them escorted out of the museum.

Langue de Chat Cookie — he’s a lawyer by trade so, naturally, he’s going to use very legal loophole he can to ruin that person’s life and get away with it all scot-free.

Does anyone ever think about how crazy - or maybe just surreal - everything must feel to Shintaro post-STR?

‘Cause like, it’s finally over. Who knows how many loops, and they’re finally free

It’s probably not as big a deal to the others (they don’t have the weight of all those memories after all - except for Mary who I heard somewhere has nightmares about past loops?) but to him?

I’m kind of wondering if it would be a little overwhelming once it really sunk in. Just, imagine:

You’re Shintaro. You have all these memories in your head of the same things happening, over and over again. You never live past 18. One way or another, you never even make it out of summer. Usually because Clearing Eyes has brutally murdered everyone then forced Mary to reset time. Whenever your powers activate, you become aware of all this.

Until, everyone lives. Clearing Eyes is gone. It’s over. It’s finally over.

You make it through summer. It’s fall, then it’s winter, then spring - and your birthday. You’re 19. You’ve been 18 thousands of times, maybe for what feels like forever, and now you’re not. You’re finally growing older.

Like I said earlier, I think it might be a little overwhelming. Maybe he’ll get used to it, maybe he won’t. Maybe he’ll mostly adapt , but there’ll always be this little part of his mind that forgets they’re not stuck in a loop anymore - that’s used to expecting that they need to beat Clearing Eyes for everyone to be free.

Maybe I’ve just thought about it too much. Who knows.

What if we had an update where the North and South Dragons were recruited, but instead of Dark Cacao, it was Dark Choco doing it? Like, he knows the Ancients are probably forming some sort of army against Dark Enchantress, and so he goes to recruit the two dragons for the cause. Maybe he sees it as some way of helping or atonement (though not a full atonement) considering the things he did. Also he’s associated with Oreos like them

You’ve always adored teddy bears ever since you were a kid.

Their soft squishy forms always brought you comfort in a way that you couldn’t deny.

They were like your silent friends.

A safe place.

Your apartment was the proof of this obsession—lined with bears and plushies of every size, from a mini one to a massive teddy that takes up half your couch.

At work, you’ve mentioned it during a random talk, gushing about a new bear arrival that you’ve seen at the market.

Apparently someone was listening.

For the past two weeks a new teddy bear has appeared at your doorstep every morning.

Each one unique.

Fluffy pastel ones, simple brown ones, and now you had bears of all unique colors and designs.

The one that stuck out the most

Was the pink polka dotted teddy with a bow tie.

And for some reason it was exactly the one you’ve been eyeing in the market, which confirms that it was someone from your work.

Each teddy came with a note tucked into their paws.

The handwriting was shaky and uneven, almost like the writer's hands trembled while writing.

“You light up my dark” — the first one said.

“I’m closer than you think” — another one.

The one you received yesterday felt like a soft plea.

Like the person sending these was facing a desperation, a need.

“Please notice me”

At first you thought it was a silly prank, maybe a friend teasing you for your love for plushies.

But all your friends denied it and your neighbors—an old couple—obviously weren’t the type to do such things.

The mystery was charming.

A little creepy, yes.

But each bear was tugging at your heart at the same time.

Endearing in some way but making you curious.

Tonight, you're done wondering.

You set an alarm for 3 am, determined to catch the culprit.

You stand by the window, coffee in hand as your eyes scan the quiet street.

The moonlight was the only source of light, your heart racing with anticipation.

After a few minutes or so you see a hooded figure approaching your door with careful steps, and they hold a small teddy bear.

A brown choco colored one with a tiny red bow.

He kneels to place it on your doorstep.

You don’t hesitate and rush to your door, flinging it open.

“Hey!” you shout.

The figure stumbles, and before you could react, he starts running away but you’re quicker, not caring about your bare feet.

You grab hold of his sleeve.

“Who are you? why are you doing this?”

The hood falls, revealing a familiar face—jeon jungkook, your quiet coworker with a shy smile and doe eyes that always seem to find you.

His cheeks are flushed, breaths shaky and he looks like he’d rather be anywhere else.

Almost like he got caught stealing

“jungkook?” you gasp.

“You’re the teddy bear guy?”

He cringes, rubbing the back of his neck.

“Uh… yeah, I—I’m sorry,” he stutters.

“I didn’t mean to freak you out.”

You release his sleeve, stepping back as you cross your arms over your chest.

“What’s with these bears?”

jungkook fidgets, staring at his sneakers like they hold his answers.

“You mentioned it at work. A lot, actually and I thought you’d like them, so I wanted to do something special—“

“But I couldn’t just… approach you.”

Your mind flashes to those coffee break chats and your rants about teddies.

You imagine he’d listened sitting somewhere far.

Nodding quietly, his shy grin hiding how much your words had taken to his heart, valuing your wishes like they were the most precious thing.

“Why didn’t you just… talk to me?” you ask

“I tried talking, I mean. But every time I got near you… I—I don’t know.”

“You’re so…”

He trails off, then mumbles quietly.

“You’re you. And I’m just me.”

Your heart flutters strangely.

jungkook’s always been sweet at work—bringing you coffee when you’re too busy to look after yourself.

Laughing at your dumb jokes.

You never thought much of it, but now looking at his nervous gaze

It clicks.

The notes are starting to make sense.

“The notes,” you say, softly.

“They were about me?”

He swallows hard, eyes flicking up to meet yours.

Doe eyes glassy.

“I’ve liked you—uhm—for a long while actually, and I thought the bears might be… romantic? but then I realized it was probably weird, I didn’t know how to stop without explaining and—“

He rambles and cuts himself off.

He exhales sharply, heart pounding out of his chest.

“I’m an idiot for doing this stupidity.”

You glance at your doorstep, where the brown bear sits, a note in its paw like always.

You pick it up, unfolding the paper.

“I’m scared, but I love you”

Your breath catches, lips parting as jungkook watches you now like he’s waiting for rejection.

You clutch the bear to your chest, heart skipping a beat.

The softness of the bear grounding you just like previous ones given by him.

“jungkook, this isn’t stupid.” you whisper.

A smile on your lips.

“It’s… adorable. Scary at first yes, but adorable.”

“You picked bears because of me?”

He nods.

“I thought they’d make you smile and you always light up when you talk about them.”

“You’re not mad?”

He asked, restless.

His eyes still wide with uncertainty, the fear of rejection still there.

You can't help it—you laugh, shaking your head.

“Oh god, you’re just ridiculous you know that? but I love them, every single one.”

You pause, meeting his gaze.

“And I think maybe… the guy leaving them, too.”

“Really?”

Hope in his voice, along with a slight tremble.

“Really.” you grin.

“Next time, maybe just ask me out instead of leaving stuffed animals in the dark like a little stalker.”

He laughs, a nervous yet joyful sound.

The sound warming you despite standing outside in the cold night air.

“So coffee tomorrow?”

You hum, looking at him while pretending to consider, enjoying teasing him and watching him squirm.

“Is that a yes…?”

His smile fades slightly.

“Depends. Only if you promise to keep leaving me bears.”

jungkook chuckles, the tension calming.

“Sure, but if I bring a bear for every date, you’ll need more space. Think you can handle my teddy bear game?”

His tone now cheeky, his smile bright.

“Bring it on, teddy guy.”

You both share a giggle, and you wonder why you didn’t notice him sooner.

As you invite him inside to escape the cold, you glance at the bear in your arms that you are hugging to yourself even tighter.

And the fluff in your arms feels like the start of something.

A promise

For the future.

Teddy anon here and wanted to say...I adore this version of y/n and I need to see a fic of the caretaking of y/n and the cookies having them adapt...like ngl I got a long list of favorites...imagine if one of y/n's favorite cookies was assigned to live with y/n to make sure they were fine and happy...like their job is to keep y/n company, make sure they are eating 3 good meals a day, make sure y/n is getting enough sleep, etc lol! If y/n gets less than 8 hours of sleep? Get them back to bed and soothe them to sleep! See them downing ramen for every meal because they think they have to worry about bills and stuff and believe they gotta save coins? Make sure they are reminded that all their financial trouble is gone since the cookies have y/n now and make sure they eat proper meals. Y/n feeling emotionally low? Turn that frown upside down.

I got tons of examples of who to choose from my own favorite cookie list you can choose to write a fic about them living with us or idk lol! You can always choose a cookie who isn't on the list:

Clotted cream: a gentleman to y/n who takes y/n traveling with them to enjoy the finer things in life and/or have y/n be his balance of still being down to earth.

Royal margarine: flirts could fluster them and show love...also flights on wyvern and helping y/n learn to speak up/be brave.

Dark choco: helps soothe anxiety and is very protective...also if y/n has trouble with self blame, they can learn self forgiveness together.

Kouign amann: protective of y/n and acts like a gentlelady to them...also idk why but hc her to be a good cook so does help with bad diet problem.

Wedding cake: also acts like a gentle lady but is so kind and sweet and can help sew up holes if y/n somehow rips their outfit or takes care of stains. Also can provide for y/n like others on the list. Probably rich because of owning a business.

Shining glitter: can also provide for y/n do to career but can also soothe y/n with gentle singing, take y/n on trips so y/n is actually living instead of cooped up in their home unlike before where they live paycheck to paycheck with no travel or living life...take them on tour with her as her partner/personal vip...

White lily: always see fics where she is obsessed with the player so probably the most affectionate and caring...also very protective if it's normal yandere route I see with her.

Caramel arrow: fierce protector and making sure y/n is well constantly (not part of initial list because loyal to dark cacao kingdom)

Red velvet: fierce protector and if y/n adores dogs well...he is y/n's dream come true due to so many dogs...cue emotional support dog and they have fun taking care of dogs together! (Not part of initial list because COD)

Y/n is a workaholic and they find it strange that they don't have to overwork themselves anymore and they can relax but at the same time, they feel weird about having to rest and that they don't have to worry anymore but it just feels so strange to them. They spent a whole chunk of their life working their ass off that they never got to really live their life but now they can, go into new cities, go to concerts with music they like, be at the beach till the sunsets. Y/n never really thought that they'd be able to live again and do small things like sleep in sometimes when they feel like it, the cake hound that red velvet gave y/n that always liked being near y/n and that always sleeps in the bed with them or just follows them all around the house and outside. Y/n does go into unhealthy habits sometimes and they do try to break them but its like it was always apart of their routine.

I do like to imagine that y/n does get a bit overwhelmed when Shining Glitter Cookie takes y/n on her tours and expense hotels and y/n is nervous to spend any money but the rich cookies or famous cookies spoil y/n and poor y/n absolutely has no idea what to do with the new stuff they got or can even fathom the price of these gifts.

Hollyberry had invited y/n to a grand party to celebrate the arrival of the baker, them. A party for them, y/n felt strange about it as many cookies approached them as they seemingly all loved y/n as many offered to dance with y/n even some tries to one up each other but y/n sat at a table by themselves seeing how many cookies were laughing and having a great time. They looked at the glass in their hand with the berry juice inside with a small reflection of them inside and y/n felt strange here as they did appreciate all the work that went into this as many cookies even the other ancients came to this party for y/n but so much was happening that y/n was able to slip out of the castle and saw how empty the buildings were, all the cookies in this kingdom did go to the party but y/n just wanted to feel alone for a bit as they were a bit overwhelmed at how many cookies were in the castle asking for dances or talking to them at once or hollyberrys almost none crushing hugs when she was a bit to drunk as y/n doesn't know what the other ancients were doing as y/n couldn't focus on anything really.

It was nice walking around in the asleep town of buildings in the kingdom. Y/n then saw a bench that was next to some berry bushes so they say down to take a breather, looking up at the sky seeing how some stars still shined bright in the night even with the lanterns trying to outside in the stars. Y/n took a deep breath and slouched a bit in the bench as they didn't need to keep a appearance up with no cookies around, y/n looked at their 'hands' they had no fingers and yet were able to hold things alright and y/n had so many questions as y/n got lost in their thoughts they didn't know a cookie was approaching them. "Oh y/n cookie, this is were you wandered off to." Y/n jumped a bit hearing the sudden voice and looked to see who it was and stood Pure Vanilla Cookie who smiled at them. "May I sit with you?" He asked as y/n shifted a bit to have Pure Vanilla Cookie sit down with them as he did, he set his staff to the side of him and he looked over at y/n. "Must have been a bit overwhelmed at the gathering? I must admit, I was also a bit overwhelmed at how many cookies there were. I'm not surprised at how many cookies showed up for this occasion." Pure Vanilla Cookie spoke as y/n didn't look at Pure Vanilla Cookie as he could see y/n was a bit troubled by their body being a bit tensed up and how they avoided his gaze.

He sat up still having his gaze at y/n. "Are you uncomfortable? I can leave if you want to be alone." Pure Vanilla Cookie suggested as he then felt y/n's hand touch his. "No, no, stay...I- I just don't know how to feel right now." Y/n finally spoke as Pure Vanilla Cookie's eyebrows frowned as he use his other hand to hold y/n's as he waited for y/n to speak again. "I know you and the others care about me but I just feel like I'm free loading on you guys. I don't feel right, I know this party was supposed to be about me and me being the baker but it just feels wrong and that I didn't earn being there. I don't know, maybe my boss just crushed my self esteem so low that maybe I can't take the simplest things without over thinking it." Y/n confessed as they stopped slouching and sat up to look at Pure Vanilla Cookie. "Y/n, I assure you that many cookies here care for you. I haven't seen the other ancient smile so much today, You even had Dark Cacao Cookie smiling the whole time you were around. I have to tell you that you make us happy that your here and you deserve to be happy as well in your own right but you don't have to do that alone, you have us and the cookies at the kingdom who want to help you. You deserve to be happy, y/n." Pure Vanilla Cookie said as he looked at y/n with a soft smile as y/n's mouth quivered a bit as tears began to swell up in their eyes but y/n wiped their tears away with their sleeve as Pure Vanilla Cookie went to pat y/n's back.

"let's go back to the party. I'm sure hollyberry is looking for you right about now, I'll walk with you there." He asked as y/n smiled and nodded as the two go up and walked side by side back to the castle as y/n hoped that hollyberry or princess cookie didn't know they were gone for to long.

Y/n also got absolutely flashbanged by paparazzi and regular cookie phones/cameras because y/n isn't use to sudden flashes of bright light on them and it's sometimes so bad that the yandere cookies got a be like a bodyguard to y/n so that they aren't like the ash baby image every damn time a random cookie decides to take a picture of them.

Butter Squid Cookie wants y/n to be in one of his movies as it would be a absolute smash hit as his darling baker in his movie and the main star!? Who wouldn't want y/n to in their movies (he definitely didn't scare off other directors so that no one else got y/n as a actor) but y/n tries to be nice and say they'll consider it but y/n can't act as office life has drained them and they don't think they'll be any good at it.
