I like to think that Marinette’s qualities come from her parents!! Like her kindness is because of Tom’s example, and her resourcefulness as Ladybug is from Sabine.

Also “Marinette” being her French name and “Jiayi” being her Chinese name I put in there along with Socqueline! She’s kind of an older sister figure to her and considers her a cousin bc their families are so close. She had moved to another city in France by the time Marinette starts junior year but they call often!

Akumatized Sabine and Marichat!! And a new chat noir design, I had this planned for a month but I NEVER draw him for some reason?? So I haven’t said anything ab it-

Nurse Desserts power is that she makes anyone within her vicinity contract an illness, which induces fatigue, sneezing, coughing, and greenish lumps/spots to appear on their body. Her sentimonster is a giant cake baby that can also turn into multiple of itself, but get smaller the more there are.

Heartrocker is Akumatized Luka, after breaking up with Marinette. 💔

His music creates supersonic waves!

I’d like to think that a special song also makes civilians to fangirl over him, but he’s not interested? He’s just over them/doesn’t want their attention (even though he’s creating them) and he just wants to find Marinette and use his powers to make her love him, or obsessed with him like he kind of is with her. He sends the fans to go find Marinette while he focuses on trying to take the miraculous.

It’s not the right thing to do, but he thinks Marinette doesn’t care about him at all, although he loves her to his core. She didn’t show up to his concert, lied about it, then didn’t even try to protest their breakup. So clearly he’s not over her and wants clarity, which causes his Akumatization. Ofc the breakup was over multiple instances of lying, but the concert was the final straw because she promised him she’d be there, and he was going to perform an original song he wrote just for her.

He ends up putting Ladybug under the same spell, and he’s about to take her miraculous before realizing if he does, Hawkmoth will take away his powers and he can’t get Marinette to love him again. So he ends up just having a depressing therapy session with her, where she convinces him to hand over his akuma object and he can’t be akumatized anymore after that!

“If I am not Ladybug, I am nothing!!”

I haven’t really gone in-depth on Lila, so here’s a few shots of her backstory!!

CHOCOAU INFO BELOW!

Orphaned at a young age, Lila was taken in by Master Fu. There, she was raised alongside other pupils hand-selected by The Order to become the next Miraculous holders. She was taught that becoming Ladybug was the highest honor and Master Fu encouraged her to train hard so that she would be selected.

However, Tikki and Master Fu noticed how she often used manipulation and dishonesty to hurt her competitors or gain the upper hand, especially when she is angry. This worried them, and Tikki insisted that Lila cannot be the next Ladybug, even though he knew the Order had already determined it to be so.

In order to prevent this from happening, Master Fu took the miraculous and escaped to Paris. He gave it to Marinette for safe-keeping after being impressed by her kindness, but not intending for her to actually become Ladybug.

When Lila heard that Master Fu had betrayed her and surrendered her future to someone else, she was hurt and enraged. She vowed to prove Master Fu wrong and destroy Ladybug to take the miraculous for herself, by whatever means necessary.

The Order used her motivation to send her to Paris after him, and to recollect the miraculous. But of course, Lila never intended to serve their purpose.

This is definitely subject to change, but this is the rundown of her motivation so far! She ends up targeting Marinette as well because she knows that Marinette doesn’t believe her lies, and she can’t have her going around telling people what she says isn’t true.

Akumatized Kagami in ChocoAU! 🌸🐲🌱

She meets Adrien for a date at the Louvre, hoping it will go well and dispel her nagging thoughts and they can learn to love each other. But she finds him looking at Marinette with eyes she has never seen before.

Kagami is transformed into Hanabira! She turns the museum into a kind of rainforest/jungle. Chat Noir and Ladybug have to evade her sentimonster Senryu, which turns people into grass hedge sculptures as they are overwhelmed them with what Kagami is feeling.

chocoau! Kagami is Adrien’s betrothed!!

They are in an arranged marriage set up by Adrien’s mom and her parents since they were toddlers, but they haven’t seen each other in years since she lives in Japan. She is THE DEFINITION of generational wealth. Her net worth is literally more than Adrien, his house, and the school combined.

Unfortunately, she is heavily objectified, like a priceless piece of jewelry instead of a person, which causes her to try and be perfect constantly so she doesn’t bring shame to her family.

The second pic is her after breaking up with Adrien and using the dragon miraculous!! She finally breaks out of the pressure her parents put her under to be perfect.

Introducing the royalty of Lycée Françoise Dupont!!

They’re names are all coined by Alya because they’re basically the richest kids in school!! Kind of code names they use to basically gossip ahaehhde

Once Adrien joined the class, Alya already had a name for him. She joked he was adopted by the Queen and followed her around like a puppy while she trained him on how to be royalty.

Lila told everyone she was essentially a “nouveau riche” according to Chloe. She claimed one of her parents was part of a long-lost duchy in Italy and inherited a large sum of money, which is a complete lie so she could weasel her way into The Empire and get closer to Adrien. Once she was found out, Adrien convinced Chloe not to boot her, but was promptly relabeled accordingly.

Kagami joins because of Adrien, but she never really fit in with their lifestyle, despite being leagues above it. Once she gets with Felix, they kind of just hang out together at school. Alya struggled with a name for her, but once the class found out her uncle owns an albino tiger and the dated clothes she wears is custom-made by top luxury designers, it was easy. The highest status than anyone else, but no power of her own. The Emperor’s Daughter.

Felix never was accepted into the group despite being Adrien’s cousin and his mom’s connections because he was a jerk to literally everyone when he got there, so he didn’t have any friends and didn’t want them.

I think these titles would kind of idolize them in a negative way. To the rest of the class they’re these exotic heartless animals that have never known what it’s like to not eat with a silver spoon, but it’s not true at all. I’d like to see their friend groups start to mix a bit later in the series!!

AU headcanons!

She has a softer voice, so you would think she’s polite and shy but since she’s Chloe’s best friend you realize better

Her hair is actually wavy, but she straightens it

Thinks Kim’s dumb personality is cute; Chloe hates it tho

Quite smart; she does well on homework and helps Chloe study even though she never pays attention

She’s the one who comes up with Chloe’s revenge plans. Compared to her, Chloe is oddly forgiving after she gets what she wants (your humiliation).
