#my art#00三体#chucarver#if i had to pick any two characters that represent me then it'd be these two! so i wanted to draw them together!#it's been some time since i posted art here and i needed new icons of these two on different platforms so here this goes#this is also meant to be a warm up and drawing characters i like help#i do not want to put this in the main tags but this is chu yan (three body) and elliot carver (james bond - tomorrow never dies)#for james bond fans chu yan is a very minor character and proposed a group vote to broadcast (doxx) an alien planet to help earthern humans#for three body fans elliot carver is a bond villain themed after news media and compared what he does to saving the world (which. false)

This is not a maybe anymore. I will make the ChuZhang Spy AU and also more 00三体 (Specifically Brosnan Era though).
#transmission from the captain#(i am so fixated on both series right now this is so scary.)#(i was already on a roll with art for the sci-fi trilogy[tm] but i just got blasted with spy fiction fixation specifically james bond)#(brosnan era is my favorite but casino royale was my first bond film <3 happy to see stuff of it in 2025 of all years)#(zhang beihai is really suitable for a spy fiction setting due to his emphasis on duty and a lot of his arc)#(hmm unsure how to integrate chu yan into this though and i want to deviate from obvious choices)#(yeah it'd be easy to just make him a fellow spy who got assigned to him as an ally or even bond girl [boy] him but i want a challenge)#(...the chucarver crossover stuff i do is making me tempted to make chu yan a bond villain haha)#(wait that's kinda funny)#(you know what. yeah.)#(this can be a reconfiguration of the escapist and mind seal stuff from the trilogy actually)#(hm well chu yan won't be a straight up villain but more so someone framed as a villain like how blue space was deemed as criminals)#(WAIT... i will keep on cooking...)

Context: I did a presentation on a certain sci-fi trilogy recently (guy on the left is a very minor character from the third entry) and I had a plush toy to ease presentation anxiety in my pocket haha. @/myndelling did a Carver creation and I found that an excuse for another crossover artwork!

#my art#okay here's the drill every time i draw these two together: no main tags and just my personal crossover ones haha#chucarver#00三体#i'm still very james bond brained but this blog is less bond focused than it used to be so the pinned accommodates for that now#i always talked about other stuff but this sci-fi trilogy has me feeling the same unhinged energy as the peak of bond unhinged energy#these two are the “me” characters so they're like. mascots for me if you don't already see me as them#that's why i like drawing them together and plus they're just fun to think about in terms of james bond/three body crossovers!#(anyways. i am so productive today)
