Churches of Herne Bay: Herne Bay Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was built in 1885 using Kent ragstone, as a splendid example of polygonal stone walling (over brickwork) typically combined with smooth ashlared dressings.

Short DPXDC Prompts #1028
Martha Kent participates and donates to her local church bake sale. She bid on a few things expecting someone to bid more than her, but managed to be the highest bidder on a very strange loaf of pumpernickel bread. Later at home, she cuts a few slices to serve with supper, when she notices something is off about the bread. There are specks of green inside the bread. Usually she’d assume the specks as some odd type of mold, but these green specks are glowing. This looks like something within her son’s purview. She makes sure to bring it up in her next weekly call with Clark.

RoyxJamie wedding fic where Roy says he wants to get married in his church. Jamie ain’t religious so he’s okay with whatever.
“It’s small; we can only have the most important people there. Not even the whole team.”
“Keeley will want to plan a bigger reception. Loves her a good party.”
“If she calls it a party and not a reception. And doesn’t make it too…”
“Too weddingy?”
“Is that okay?”
“Mint, yeah. You want to do the legwork for the wedding part and I do the 100 hours of party work with Keeley?”
“Oh thank god.”

Gif found through google search, shows as being from @walker-scobell! (Post linked below).
Jamie does NOT know that Roy’s church is a kebab place.

Churches of Kent: the Beacon Church in Herne Bay was 'planted' in 1995 and is highly distinctive, thanks to its steep front-gable which is attached to a far more simple low-roofed brick building at the back.

This ghost photograph was taken in St Mary’s Church in the village of Eastry in Kent, England. In 1956, a man was visiting the church with his wife and took a picture. When the photo was developed, he saw what appears to be the ghostly image of a priest sitting in the aisles. At the time the picture was taken, there was nobody else in the church, except for the cleaning lady.
