San Francisco, Calif. -- Wednesday, March 3, 2021 -- California's premier artisanal cider event Cider Summit SF presents a special virtual hard cider experience for Californians in spring 2021 in lieu of the in-person festival being canceled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Cider Summit SF is a highly anticipated annual festival that nearly sold-out for six consecutive years (2014 - 2019). To support the region's exceptional hard cider producers and their seasonal releases, Cider Summit SF features a Festival To-Go with two unique selections, the Harvest Cider Kit and Modern Cider Kit. A guided virtual tasting on April 17, 2021 (6pm - 7:30pm PST) will be co-hosted by Cidercraft Magazine -- cidermakers will offer tasting notes on ciders included in the kits, and local musicians will perform.

"We've traditionally held our Cider Summit SF event in April at the Presidio Civil War Parade Ground," said Alan Shapiro, Cider Summit founder and producer. "Although the pandemic has changed the way events are operating, it's still important to us to continue this tradition and celebrate our amazing cider community in a new and creative way."
