There's a soft breeze, snow drifting slowly and gently down around the cafe table where Bellamy sits. There are a few coffee cups scattered around the table as they work on something that cant quite be made out on their laptop- some kind of from from the look of it. Delirium lays curled around their feet, idly staring down passers by on the street.

"Amy!" the voice pulls the attention of both the Professor and the Houndoom as Jaycé bounds into frame, a bit disheveled and obviously in quite the hurry, a Delphox just behind them seeming irritated t the rush. "Désolée, sorry, I didn't mean to keep you waiting so long. The alarm... I must have turned it off or forgot to set it-"

"What?" Amy seems a bit confused and checks the time on their laptop. "Oh, I guess it is later than I thought. I mush have lost track of time again." Amy shakes their head with a small laugh, not so subtly moving a few of the cups out of the way as they stand up to greet their friend. There's enough of a shadow under their eyes that it's not hard to question whether they slept at all, but the smile at least seems genuine. It seems for a moment they will lean close for a hug, but instead they zip up Jaycé's jacket the rest of the way.

"Oh, well I'm glad I didn't upset you at least" Jaycé laughs a bit nervously and scratches at the back of their neck. there's a bit of red across their cheeks that seems a bit lost on Amy, who has already begun gathering their belongings together. Delirium eyes Cinnamon with an unsettling look that might be suspicion, but it's not exactly easy to tell. "I was worried."

"Daijobu, don't worry my friend. You wanted to show me something today, hm?" Amy finishes tucking their laptop in their bag and grabs their cane. "Are you going to tell me what it is yet?"

Jayce lights up with a grin, any other thoughts seemingly left behind. "Absolutely not. What's the fun in that?" They bump Amys shoulder with their own as they pass the shorter man(?), starting to walk backwards as they lead the way. "I hope you can keep up with me, don't want to loose you out here again"

The tease in Jayce's voice does pull a laugh from Amy "Don't make me remind you which of us has trouble keeping up, Tenmei."

They both cant help but laugh as they begin on their way. Video ends.

Coarse sugar coating the bottom, light and moist, sweet and spongy, but wait… isn't a castella cake usually supposed to be by itself? Well, sure, but this is a Castell(i)a cake!

Taking inspiration from Tres Leches, a popular dessert in central and southwestern Unova, the Castell(i)a cake is covered in a thin, ultra-light layer of whipped cream, a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, and sliced strawberries. Kantonese at its core, but Unovan in its flair. Kind of like this bakery, really!

hiiiii! I am about to adopt a Furfrou and Gourgeist at the same time in less than a month. I would like some advice on how to care for them, or personality traits, etc. For context: I am a Pokemon performer/coordinator who does battling on the side. I live in Kalos. My current Pokemon are Mochi the Reuniclus (my ace, my BFF, totally chill and friendly unless you engage him in a competition in which case he will be hyper competitive), Matcha the Turtwig (generally just happy, but is prone to being hyper when the sun is out), Roseleaf the Sylveon (a complete cinnamon roll, basically the sweetest ever) and Whisper the Delphox (slightly judgemental with an overprotective streak). How will these species interact? I want to make sure this transition is the easiest and smoothest possible. Thanks for reading!! :)

Oh boy, you have a lot personalities at play! Maybe it’s a hot take but I believe that an important part of adding new mons to your crew is accepting and embracing the fact it’s gonna be tense for a minute (until everyone finds their place again). Like when I got Sloane my Sneasel there was a loooong adjustment period thanks to her rougher back ground, she wanted to put everyone else in their place when she was by far the lowest in seniority. It took some fussing but she mostly came around lol.

I’d recommend first just letting your new mons around your home by themselves for a moment so they can get acquainted without having to also juggle new social interactions, then slowly introduce your mons one by one. I’m faaaar from an expert in ghost types, but they can tend to be either quite temperamental or skittish, either way they might need some extra love and supervision. Furfrou in general seem to be well tempered and will probably adjust fine!

If your current mons all get along good then I may suggest having the more laid back ones meet them first, like Roseleaf and Matcha, then when meeting a potential wildcard like Mochi or Whisper, have the chill Mon there as a mediator. Then your existing mons can have a sense of like “Well I don’t know YOU, but I do know Roseleaf, so if you two are good then we’re good.”

Hello ! I have some motivation to draw but I am not guaranteeing that I will be posting that regularly

I am replaying Pokémon Y with an actually sum what diverse team instead of my first team of ONLY FIRE POKÉMON. I don’t know how I went through the entire game with only fire types… Anyway this is Gohin my Pangoro, she is my pride and joy. She is part of team friendship made up of four Pokémon that evolve through friendship or love (Buddy the Roserade, Aquadot the Azumarall, Babydoll the Sylveon, and Swoon the Swoonbat) and then Cinnamon the Delphox. The honorable mention is Anubis the Lucario who switch Swoon out most of the time.

well yes and already seeing this publication well in my experience... gawai would be a hashira in a short time and could be the hashira of the vegetation and thinking, but my greninja i.e. sonic would also be a hashira and would be the ninja and my delphox i.e. my cinnamon would also be a hashira but it would take a long time and it would be the fire fox and I think he got along well with the other hashiras, plus Rengoku, obviously, like Tanjiro and Nezuko, but I also think that Yveltal would be a superior moon and killed Gaby, one of the confrontations. Amy leans over a snow dusted stone guard rail on a bridge that overlooks the Lumiose canal. The view is beautiful, and despite this not being one of the more notable bridges there are still more than a few tourists taking pictures of the winter scene.

"Don't misunderstand me, it's beautiful, but when you told me you had some grandiose secret I expected it to be a little less public."

"I'm hurt that you don't believe in me, Riritsu." The teasing tone is clear in Jaycé's voice as they waltz into frame. They carry a box that they didn't have in the last video and they gesture onward with their head. "We aren't there quite yet."

Amy hums, pushing themselves back off of the ledge. a bit reluctant to leave the view despite their words. They follow after Jaycé, leaning heavily on their cane. Delirium, on their heels, was being hounded by another, smaller Houndoom. Amy can't help the small laugh as Clover bothers Delirium a bit, yelping as the larger dog corrects her.

At the far end of the bridge Jaycé leads them both off the path and down a half obscured set of stairs that loop back towards the bridge. They stop before a security gate, various warnings in kalosian scattered over multiple signs on its surface.

"I found out a long while back that this one's never really locked." There's a mischievous look in their face as they easily unlach and open the gate. "I couldn't tell you why, but it was a quiet place away from things."

It's a simple platform, all things considered, a square concrete respite under the base of the bridge itself, wether for support or for ease of inspection you can't be sure. But it's a bit quieter down here sheltered from the wind, and the sound of the lapping water so close is soothing.

"It's certainly an interesting spot." Amy steps towards the water and glances down, watching the canal flow over thad through the reaching sheet of ice that tries unfruitfully to stop it's flow. "You know whatever those warnings were I'm beginning to think they were to ward off you in particular."

Jaycé had already half unpacked their box in the time that Amy had had their back turned, laying down a blanket and setting out a few still steaming containers and a thermos. Their laugh draws the professors attention back and Amy's surprise is obvious.

"What's all this?" Jaycé in response just offers a hand.

"Here, let me help you down. I got us kalosian onion soup and crepes- the real kind, don't get me started on that again, Riritsu."

"I don't need help- is this what we stopped for? Did you cook all of that? When?"

"Will you stop talking and let me help? Come on, I spent time on this. Don't let it get cold." Jaycé laughs and this seems to be enough to convince Amy to relent, taking their hand and settling down into the blanket with a hum, Jaycé settling down next to them.

There's a moment of calm between them, glancing out over the canal. The atmosphere lasts only a moment before the Houndoom come bounding into the blanket, making Jaycé scramble to defend the foods.

i fell asleep immediately when i got home. it was a fun time, i actually had a much better time with Papa than *ahem* last year.

granted, if i wasn't such a spiteful bitch who'd run at the drop of a hat, i'm sure the whole confetti thing would've left me sleeping in the lab. but as mentioned, i stay winning.

also these two let me put silly hats on them. Hazzie not so much, but it's a little poetic that my first two pokemon let me do this.
