Being a first year emergency medicine intern at St. George's hospital doesn't pay much, and in London it barely covers rent. But Patch is nothing if not innovative, and when they start offering cheap medical care out of the back of an old camper van in Peckham to their brother's friends, word travels fast. They stumble into the world of the Jolly Rogers by pure accident. After a shoot-out gone wrong and one of the Crooked Hand's assassins bleeding out on the street, Patch is first to dive in and help. They save the man's life which in turn leads to something similar to part-time employment for the Jolly Rogers, even if they don't consider themselves a part of the group. As one of the group's on-call medics they see a lot of shit and clean a lot of wounds, but it's all invaluable experience. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there and Patch is willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead in their field.

Lucretia loathes him for the sake that he’s a reminder (twice over) that her father’s affections were waffling, at best. Following graduation with a medical degree from Cambridge, the Hand of God swiftly settled into their residency within the neurosurgery department at St Mary’s hospital in London. They're good at his job and they enjoy helping people, but that’s not their main motivator. They harbour a morbid sense of curiosity for all things science related - medicine just happens to be the easiest way to get their hands on living (or dead) bodies. After a late night incident at a pub saw them saving the life of a low-ranking Jolly Roger assassin, the Hand of God entered London’s underground world as the person to see in a medical emergency.

Word spreads and soon both the Jabberwocks and the Jolly Rogers frequent the studio. Inkognito keeps their head down and ears open, but they never rat. The studio becomes a No Man's Land sanctuary for high-level mobsters to get their ink done. Anything spoken within its four walls is confidential. And if Inkognito ever decides to break their silence, they'll be dead before they've reached the street.

It gives her a reason to terrorise kids in the area and to threaten people she doesn't like the look of. She's rang the police so many times most of the MET know her name.

Discreet and unassuming she's been relaying confidential and critical information to the Jabberwocks for quite some time now. Her information is valuable and her prices for it are high, growing ever more extravagant as she's getting used to having her every whim catered to. Money, properties, cars, jewellery -- the Jabberwocks will provide it all in exchange for her whispers, but this greed may well bring forth her downfall. She may think she has the Crimson Monarch in her back-pocket and the Jabberwocks to exploit as she sees fit, but the price for such arrogance is always steeper than it's worth.

The revenue that comes with this gig is almost enough to cover their bills, and they have big plans for the future.

They've just medalled at the Junior Olympics, silver, when tragedy strikes. The press calls it bad luck for the child, the police call it a Multimillion-Dollar Embezzlement Scheme, and the law calls it 45 years in prison for both parents. The Underdog moves in with relatives, but their hopes of competing professionally are crushed. They turn to drugs and alcohol for a long time before stumbling, accidentally almost, into the world of underground fight rings. It is here where they now live out their wasted potential and childhood dreams. The club is theirs to dominate and with a regular influx of mob and MET fighters, money flows nicely.

They tried to make the best out of it in terms of PR but the experience has left them thirsting for revenge.
