Two Truths, One Lie

Before Clare knew it, a portal beneath her feet opened up, but instead of finding the ground, her feet flail in open air as she goes into a free fall towards the green ground below. As she screams and flails in the air, however, a familiar girl takes her hands, and Clare immediately tries breaking free of her.

"Are you an idiot?!" Clare screams.

But the girl in black smiles and laughs, saying, "Don't let go!"

(slowly adding my ocs after redownloading them from the cloud)

"Clare, we don't have to fight."

"I'll fight you if I have to accomplish what should have been done years ago," she scoffs as she adds, "Do you understand now? I won't hold back this time. So you better not either. It isn't like when we were kids."

Without any further comment, Reila appears in front of Clare in the blink of an eye. With her back against her children, the smile on her face has dissipated, leaving only that dark look in her eyes.

Despite this advantage in speed, Reila uses her first move to set up a barrier around the golden frame of the room, intentionally leaving out her children and trapping herself with Clare.

The symbols within the golden frame tiled floor light up as if the light of a million suns hit it. This golden light makes its way towards Reila, who protects herself in a shelter of vines she summons up from the ground. When the light disperses, the vines do as well, and just as Clare thought, Reila's eyes have become pitch black.

Reila wastes no time when she lunges forward at Clare, bringing with her several shadows, ripped up from the floor.
