Follow @cocktails.of.the.world Credit to @cocktails_for_breakfast . “Port Light” - A Bourbon Tiki classic, which combines two of my favourite things! This drink was created in around 1961 by Sandro Conti of the “Kahiki” in Columbus, Ohio. The recipe and history are courtesy of the @official_beachbumberry Total Tiki app. The only change I’ve made is that I’ve split the 30ml of lemon juice and I’ve used 15ml of lemon and 15ml of ruby grapefruit juice. I had some grapefruit already juiced, so it was the perfect opportunity to make a slight change. I’ve tried the original version before as well as this one, and both are super delicious. Method and ingredients of this version are below: - 45ml Bourbon @makersmark 15ml Passion Fruit Syrup @monin_europe 15ml Lemon Juice 15ml Ruby Grapefruit Juice 5ml Grenadine @monin_uk 235ml Crushed Ice - Add all ingredients to a blender (add the ice last); and flash blend for no more than 5 seconds. Open pour into a tall glass or Tiki mug. Add more ice to fill.
