THE ADVENTURE ZONE VS DRACULA

I’m really enjoying the new series of The Adventure Zone it’s 100% my shit as I love dracula and the mcelroys! I particularly love Lady Godwin because let’s be honest i love a barbarian. Justin’s lady Godwin voice is also just so funny to me! It’s honestly such a fun show and the mad character concepts really pushed my character designs to be more silly and expressive!

Made some slight edits to brother phileaux from my wip because I thought it’d be cute if he was wearing his cowl in his puppet form.

TAZ vs. Dracula is great because it opens with a horse-drawn carriage chase. In a later episode someone is chastised for double parking their Hyundai Elantra. There are magic light sources and the DJ at the Werehouse is surrounded by electronic music equipment. Everybody thinks the Invisible Man is an asshole. Justin tried to take body shots off of another horse in order to bite it and no longer be a werehorse. Clint basically murdered his character only a couple episodes in despite being told not to do what would kill him. Scenes of light body horror inclination are set to baroque music. Travis finally has a dog

Clint McElroy: March. No. February!

February 1980. I'm a young broadcaster living in Florida. I move with my young bride back to West Virginia to take up a News Director's job at WKEE Radio. We are owned by Capital Broadcasting, which has its headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina.

So I come here in February of 1980 for training. I bring my young bride because I don't want to go anywhere without her. And we begin the whole process. I am here one day, and the third worst snowstorm in the history of Raleigh... And I gotta tell you something! 1980! You guys were NOT prepared for a snowstorm.

So we were snowed in! We had to stay an extra three days in Raleigh. And couldn't go anywhere because the streets weren't clear! So we spent a nice, romantic time, just me and my wonderful wife Leslie, watching TV, getting takeout food while the snow blew around...

And nine months later.

To the day.

Justin Tyler McElroy was born.

And they have never heard this story before. Is it true? Well, all I can say is: the McElroy brothers are not experts.
