Have you ever heard how foxes sound!? 📣🦊
I headcanon that Commander Wolffe and Commander Fox do this since they were tubies 🫠 Wolffe knows exactly how to get his brother to let off some steam! And Fox would never admit, but no matter how stressed he is, he plays along because it's one of the rare chances to get Wolffe chuckling! 🤩
I had this idea for quite a long time, but today I was so happy to stumble over it in this gorgeous piece of Wolffe and Fox tubies by @catawampuscorner! Your honor ✨ I had time and so that's it! 😂 Thank you for the inspiration to realize it! 🫶

One of the funniest things about being a clone lover while watching TCW is the fact that all the clones have the goofiest/coolest names with a story behind them that indirectly gives them a little personality. Since you know that all the clones are multilayered people who have their own interesting internal journeys, you want to get to know most of them. So then there will be moments where it's like:
"Oh no, they killed Clover, Sillyboi, Beanstalk, and Jeggings!"
And I'll consistently be upset because I want to know who Sillyboi is and why he's called Sillyboi, but I never will because he fucking died. When a lot of shows kill off background characters like that but give them names, I usually don't care. But the fact that the clones all have fun names that mean something makes me randomly emotionally invested. I'll be crying over some mf named Jeggings who was on screen for 15 seconds.

I made a clone wars timeline to combine all of canon and legends into one cohesive and somewhat manageable timeline, mainly for fanfic and ttrpg purposes but I thought people might like it, it has a full workout of the galactic standard calendar and has precise(ish) dates for events (mainly republic commando) but I want as many people as possible to be able to see it and hopefully enjoy it
You can find it here:

Terracotta soldier AU from Rex's pov
Rex has never made his mind up on any idea of faith. Not the kind in a higher power at least. He'd had faith in his brothers. That's why he carried on their traditions. Long after most of them had gone when so many names had been lost to a relatively short period of time. He recites all that he can remember.
He speaks the name of each brother into the cold night air and promises that he will see them at the end of the long march.
It might not be a proper religion. But its all he has left.
And Rex is a man of his word. When he exhales his last lonely breath into the darkness his eyes going blind and his chest still, his legs are the first things he's aware of. The familiar pump of muscles.
One foot in front of the other. Like learning to walk all over again. There's a sea of white as far as the eye can see. A great blinding glare that moves all around him. But slowly it solidifies. The shape of helmets crawling over each other until they start to look like men, One in front of another. Stretching in every direction. Forever.
There isn't enough of him here to really be conscious. There aren't really thoughts in his mind. Just echoes of instincts. Like the instinct to put on foot in front of the other. The instinct to blink until his sight adjusts to the view.
It's the colors slowly emerging that draw his attention. It bleeds through the light one spot at a time. Slowly markings appear on the armor of the men around him. Blue and red and green and gold. One after another. A red circle on the pauldron beside him, a blue line up another arm.
It tickles something within him. Blue. He was blue too right? Once.
He wants to follow the blue. That's where he belongs. The mass of troops shudder once to the side, every line of men staggering one to the right another to the left. Reshuffling themselves like cards. Slipping between each other in interlocking lines. Moving forward. Always forward with ever unified foot fall. But shifting too. reaching out toward each other.
He shifts to the right toward the blue stripe who shifts as well in the same direction, farther ahead now. But there is more blue around both of them. Lines spreading around him like on interconnected web. countless troopers stacked on each other like the solders on playing cards. Shuffling around each other all looking for their own suit.
Always moving forward always together.
The blue solidifies as they shuffle around each other. Filling in the gaps until there's as much of it as there is white. He is blue. He is the blue. They are the blue. All existing here in this place together. Every piece in place.
It felt right. This is where he was always supposed to be. just one among the blue.
They march on forever. Everywhere. Far far away. Everywhere at once. Him among the blue. The blue among the white. Don't all colors come together to make white? Or is that only inside the light?
He marches. One foot in front of forever; one foot behind always.
Moving so much in sync it's like they aren't moving at all.
If everything is moving in the same direction at the same speed then is any of it really moving. What is still if nothing is?
Except....except something is. He sees it because it's blue, he thinks. He is blue and they are all blue. So of course he sees the blue.
It's not moving. It's not with them. That's wrong. They are all blue together.
His feet shuffle him again. Cards in the hands of the collective folding into themselves. There is no edge of everything. Everything is everything. it goes on forever. There is no end. But if there was, that's where he finds the blue.
She stands still. The only thing in everything that isn't moving. She needs to move. With them. He takes another unified step foreword and he is past her now. Marching away.
No. That's not right. He tries to shuffle again but there is no behind. The march is forward. All moving forward with every step. Always one foot in front of the other. He tries to look back but there is no back.
But there is. He can feel it. He can feel her a single steadiness in the flow. Parting the blue. Being among but not part of.
That's not right. He should tell her. Maybe she doesn't remember how. Maybe she doesn't have the word for foot like he didn't have the word blue until he saw it again.
But he can't tell her if she's still back there. He has to get to her. Every step takes him farther away but he knows that isn't right either. He needs to stop.
As soon as he thinks it he does. His feet stuck between always and forever. The cards shuffle around him. Moving on and leaving him behind. He...he is sad about that.
But it's okay. If Everything is always then back is always too. He turns back seeing the faces moving towards him for the first time in forever. He knows them. The faces.
Fives.
Hardcase.
Jesse.
Kix.
Tup.
They see him. See his face for the first time in forever and they stop too. Their feet stalling in time. Behind all of them, way back, he sees her. She's still there. Standing. Waiting patiently.
He remembers how to do this. It's the only thing he remembered before he saw anything here. Marching is easy. One foot....He doesn't know where forever or always are. One foot goes....Infront.
He takes a step and feels like he's learning it all over again. He forgets what the next step is. One foot in front is all his mind conjures. So he tries again. One at a time. One step, two, three.
He walks past the face. the ones moving and those standing still. She's waiting for him. He has to get back to her. He marches towards her....Ahsoka. And it isn't easy like it was before. It isn't everything always. But it is him. It is Rex. He'd forgotten that.
He is Rex. Rex follows Ahsoka.
He will walk back through forever to get to her.
One foot behind forever one foot in front of always. The wrong way. His way. Backwards.
There's another one following him. Another foot falling backwards. He can feel it disrupting the flow with him. One foot after another. One man after another. The blue warps and bends against it's self. Fracturing into a thousand pieces. Breaking away from everything. Becoming singular.
Rex marches back to Ahsoka and Fives follows. They all follow one by one. They are the blue. The 501st. Torrent company. Medics and pilots and snipers. Heavy gunner and scouts. They are men. Soliders. They are singular in the constant flow of everything all the time.
And Ahsoka waits patiently for them to remember.
To remember their names. Each others names. Her name.
She's reciting them.
Rex forgot he could speak. He forgot he could say names.
She says them one by one. "...Oppo, slate, cadaver, coric..."
Rex says them too just to hear them. "Dogma, Hawk, Limp, Chatter..."
Maybe that's how he saw her in the first place. Past all of the blue. Because she said his name. Remembered it for him.
Fives speaks, discovering his voice too. Then Jesse.
Most of the blue stops. Every one Ahsoka remembered then every one each of them remembered until the blue had bled out of the white. Outside of Everything and forever.
"You've all served your time. Served it long and well." She says when there are no more names, "You have earned your rest. But I have a mission. And I am asking for your help. I'm asking you to come back with me."
"Ahsoka" Rex says.
He remembers reciting her name. When he thought she was dead. Hoping if there was something after, then he could at least see her one last time.
Fives says it too. Then Jesse. All the way down the line they say her name. "Ahsoka"
Rex reaches a hand out to her and almost glows when it touches her shoulder. She is solid. Not made of light. Made of something more solid.
He's...he's solid too right? He thinks they were all solid together once. He knocks his vambrace against his chest plate to check and is pleased when it rattles. He hits it again just to hear the noise.
And it grows. One at a time. It rattle far too solid to exist within forever. It is fleeting as temporary as the collision that causes it. It only exists so long as they create it.
He remembers another word. One that isn't a name.
"Oya" he shouts just to hear it.
and it grows
Because He is Rex and Rex follows Ahsoka.

I was rereading the Clone Wars Novelization when I came across the Clone trooper Nax. It then clicked in my head that Nax from Obi-wan and Nax from the book were the same clone

He has it so rough. Being 1 of 6 clones to survive the mission on Teth, fought on Christophsis and Survive the battle on Umbara only to be left homeless and discarded because of metal shrapnel in his right leg. He definitely recognized Obi-wan and kept it to himself. I'm pretty sure his inhibitor chip deteriorated for him not to attack Obi-wan

hello there^^
Could you pls spare some more details off your clone/ bacteria of? The concept is so good *chefs kiss*

I'M SORRY (this was asked back in October...)
I kinda just post and go back into my cave when I log on here....
But since I'm starting to post more I'll go ahead and answer.
My Clone Oc was kinda more of a test ngl, they're based off of an Oc I have for an idea of a game I want to build (so if you see me post stuff about it/or from a different account I might promote it's me lol)
As I was working on my Oc I was getting so into Clone Wars again so they kinda merged.
I wont lie, I'm still kinda working on them (along with a few other clone Oc's I have to play along in the story for him) I changed their name because I didn't know a clone already took CT-0000, well it was more gonna be an 'error' type thing. However, I found that them still actually having the clones number would be nice.
I'm also not sure on the face/body, if I want to make them more monster-ish or more human, eyes around the body or not?
So the 'lore' for them is mainly CT-0410 (shiney not named due to being shy and not talking much with brothers) going out on his first mission with his Platoon but venturing out to far and getting killed by droids. However, this planet held quite weird bacteria living on it ( not to sure if I want to say a fungi? or not) , which came into contact with 0410's body and merged. Eating him almost entirely but left the brain, eyes and bones, then began to mimic the parts for a human (making more eyes/forming a 'body') due to the bacteria actually connecting with the brain and trying to remember/function like 0410.
So yes, that's the jest of it all, I'm currently working on a short comic series (I have never done comics lol) but I'm in a bit of an artist drought...well for like years lol so I'm hoping this helps with that.

Adding onto my post about how the clones are developmentally in their twenties, I was imagining how depressing yet interesting it would be if they not only looked their ages, but some of the background troopers progressively got younger looking. Like, nobody comments on it, but the audience can start to see it. By Seasons 6/7, the shinies look almost younger than Ahsoka, or close in age to her.
We already know that the shinies progressively start to get younger as the war rages on due to supply and demand issues, but how crazy would it be to basically see that? Just a subtle bit of worldbuilding that says so much.

So basically, after some very helpful person on twitter sent me more details about the Star Wars in universe calendar, I recalculated my clone wars timeline a little. Very little has been moved around, but now you can look at the war through the lens of a 10 or 12 month calendar, and multiple galactic holidays are timelined too!

What people don’t understand about repcomm is that Kal is *supposed* to be a deeply flawed individual, even Mij, arguably the best of the Cuy’val Dar, definitely brutalised those kids
The reason Vau is so up in arms about Kal’s superiority complex is because that’s all it is, they both did awful things, Walon just doesn’t lie to himself about why
you cannot headcanon your way out of overt thematic structures on which the entire narrative is built

A Post Outlining Why the Clone Troopers are 100% Slaves
I'm pretty sure nobody is really arguing otherwise, but I was thinking about this earlier and decided to actually look up the definition of slavery, and holy shit the clones fit it even more than I thought like oh my lord-
I've also seen people not really acknowledge that the clones are literally slaves, so this is to set it in stone. This post is mostly pointless, but I wanted to make it anyway because it's actually crazy how much they fit the definition and I need people to know about that.
My main source I will be using is Britannica and their page on slavery, but I may also take a few others and use those as examples.
"slavery, condition in which one human being was owned by another. A slave was considered by law as property, or chattel, and was deprived of most of the rights ordinarily held by free persons."
The clones are canonically property of the Republic and clearly have no rights, otherwise half the shit that happens to them would not be happening due to being illegal (or it would at least be slightly more regulated). One aspect of this I think is important is that slavery is supposedly illegal in the Republic, and yet clones are owned by the very government that outlawed the owning of sentient beings. As I will discuss more, many of the rights sentients have in the Republic do not apply to the clones, showing that they have far less rights than those which are, as Britannica said, "ordinarily held by free persons."
It's also heavily implied that the clones are considered property/chattel by the fact that they are not legally considered sentients. Otherwise, again, them being owned by the Republic would not be legal or permitted. Sentient beings cannot be owned under Republic law, and since the clones are owned by the government (and again, seem to lack various rights which are applied to all sentients), this implies that they do not count as sentient beings. Honestly, it seems like culturally they are somewhat considered non-sentients due to basically being perceived as organic droids or something similar, thus they are more likely equated to property. Not even chattel, since that would imply that they are at least living beings, and clones are barely even tried as ones.
"The slave was a species of property; thus, he belonged to someone else."
I state this constantly throughout the entire analysis.
"In some societies slaves were considered movable property, in others immovable property, like real estate."
I don't know what TF that means so I don't know if it fits or not but one of the two probably fits.
"They were objects of the law, not its subjects. Thus, like an ox or an ax, the slave was not ordinarily held responsible for what he did."
This one is a bit complicated and debatable. They don't have rights, but are still somewhat held accountable for their actions. Then again, the use of the term/concept of "decommissioning" somewhat state otherwise. To the Kaminoans at the very least, the clones are products. So if they break the law or break certain rules or "fail" in some shape or form, they are thrown away. Not really punished for their actions, but treated more like a broken phone that doesn't work properly.
On top of this, I'm not sure if they would actually be tried in front of a court of law. They can be court martialed, but that's a bit different and very internal to the GAR, which is what owns them (yes, they are owned by the Republic in general, but most things regarding how they are regulated seem to be in relation to the GAR). If they were to commit a regular crime, they would most likely be decommissioned rather than tried in the same way as a regular civilian or natborn sentient. Again, while they can be punished, the law doesn't seem to apply to them in the same way. It would be up to the GAR rather than the justice system.
Honestly, this might come up later, but it's unlikely the clones would even be able to get legal representation, since they already don't even need to be court martialed to be straight up executed. And since they aren't legally considered sentients, it would be hard to properly try them in a court of law that isn't a military court. Like the quote says, you cannot try an ox or axe, thus, it would be hard to try a clone if they aren't considered to have any real free will. And even if they are, they aren't considered sentient and instead are property.
I guess a more accurate comparison would be if droids could be arrested and sued/tried vs getting simply destroyed (or the owner of said droid getting in trouble and destroying them/shutting them down). Highly unlike. And I believe that applies to the clones as well. Perhaps they could be declared too dangerous and be decommissioned, but not given a proper trial or anything.
If anyone disagrees with me on that, please do so in the reblogs or replies because I do want to hear your thoughts on if clones could be tried in a regular court (rather than a GAR court) and how that would even logistically work.
"He was not personally liable for torts or contracts."
These guys might be able to do some things like arrest warrants and mission reports, but they would NOT be able to sign a contract. I don't even have solid proof. I just know, and you do too. How would that even work? I don't think they can really even sign stuff outside of the GAR or their job.
"The slave usually had few rights and always fewer than his owner, but there were not many societies in which he had absolutely none."
I already explained how they have literally no rights. Honestly, the only reason this statement doesn't completely apply is due to the fact that they have absolutely no rights, as I will talk about more in the next statement.
"As there are limits in most societies on the extent to which animals may be abused, so there were limits in most societies on how much a slave could be abused."
The very fact that decommissioning/reconditioning is a thing, the Kaminoans aren't in trouble for all that child abuse, and how easy it would be to retaliate against clones reporting abuse (honestly unsure if a natborn would even be punished for abusing a clone) shows that pretty much all bets are off in regards to abuse. Plus, the fact that they have no rights and are barely considered living beings kind of makes it hard to find any proper protections for them.
"The slave was removed from lines of natal descent. Legally, and often socially, he had no kin. No relatives could stand up for his rights or get vengeance for him."
I'd say that the only legal kin the clones could possibly have are each other and maybe Jango, and there is no way the clones would be able to stand up for each others' rights. They honestly probably aren't legally considered kin anyway, so it would barely matter.
The clones can not vote, run for office, and have basically no form of government representation. They can not participate in politics in any real form.
"As an “outsider,” “marginal individual,” or “socially dead person” in the society where he was enslaved, his rights to participate in political decision making and other social activities were fewer than those enjoyed by his owner."
"The product of a slave’s labor could be claimed by someone else-"
Pretty much all clone labor is military related, and all the spoils of war are handed to the Republic. Not sure if this applies to regular soldiers anyway, but the point still stands.
"-who also frequently had the right to control his physical reproduction."
Do you really think the GAR would let the clones have kids?
Even if they did, I'm pretty sure they'd have the legal right to still prevent the clones from reproducing.
"Slavery was a form of dependent labor performed by a nonfamily member."
The clones are not related to anyone in the government. They may have some clone superior officers, but those clones don't own any clones, and the highest ranking officers are always natborns. The GAR also very much depends on the labor of the clones. Like, almost the entire GAR is just clones except for the people in charge of the GAR.
"The slave was deprived of personal liberty-"
The clones have no personal liberty because they are government property.
"-and the right to move about geographically as he desired."
The GAR very much controls where the clones can and cannot go. Sometimes they are allowed to go wherever they please, but the GAR still holds permanent control over where the clones are allowed to go.
"There were likely to be limits on his capacity to make choices with regard to his occupation and sexual partners as well."
The big point is that they have no choice but to be soldiers and work for the GAR. And as I said earlier, they definitely don't have any reproductive rights. This likely applies to romance as well.
"Slavery was usually, but not always, involuntary."
These bitches did not choose this. They were literally born into it. Honestly, they weren't even born into it; they were signed up for this before they even existed.
"If not all of these characterizations in their most restrictive forms applied to a slave, the slave regime in that place is likely to be characterized as “mild”; if almost all of them did, then it ordinarily would be characterized as “severe.”
Here are the parts that do not apply to the clones (or can be argued about):
.
.
.
.
.
There are none.
I actually put 2 quotes here before realizing that they actually do kind of apply.
While I didn't quote the entire article, that's because those parts weren't talking about the definition and what actually makes something slavery. When it comes to the actually qualifications, the clones' situation checks off every single one. I initially thought it would be more in the medium zone, but this is severe severe. The best I can give is that at least they get paid, but we don't actually know that. They are able to pay for things, but that might be due to odd jobs and discounts on stuff. Even then, the article doesn't mention pay of any kind, so it doesn't even matter.
There is also so many layers to their enslavement that makes it so much more twisted and disturbing. The harmful genetic modifications/experimentation (the aging thing specifically), the fact that they were created specifically to be slaves, the entire practice of decommissioning, them not even being considered sentient beings or people, and so much more.
I know why the show never acknowledges that they are 100% enslaved (acknowledging that all the clones we know and love are technically enslaved by the side we're rooting for and nobody is doing anything about it is a bit too dark), but it also drives me crazy how it feels like even the darkest versions of canon acknowledge that they are literally slaves in every possible sense of the word! The only time they are acknowledged to be slaves is by the antagonist of one episode, and his whole point is basically brushed aside!
We literally had a whole ass slavery arc! And Rex was right there with nothing to do! That would have been a perfect time to at least vaguely acknowledge that the clones are slaves! Like, Rex could vaguely mention that he somewhat relates to the slaves, since he doesn't exactly have much freedom, and the government barely considers him and his brothers to be people. Even if he is treated well and doesn't face the same abuse, they do have certain things in common. Then leave it at that. Literally anything.
Honestly, what drives me crazy about Rex being there is the fact that they really get into the horrors of slavery while completely ignoring that Rex is already in that exact situation, he's just not being tortured! Like, he feels bad for all the slaves not just because they are being abused but because they are enslaved as though he isn't already a slave himself! That is literally you, dude! You are in the exact same boat as them, you just aren't being whipped.
The only differences here are:
The clones aren't tortured or receive cruel and unusual punishments (the latter is debatable)
The Jedi don't abuse them (anyone else could, though, and the Jedi don't because they are nice to them)
They are treated slightly better in general
I can't actually really think of anything else. There are so many things that are basically the same, just dressed up differently. Even the dying from work and getting killed for just existing are the same! Fuck, the slave chips are just decommissioning!
Rex clearly feels bad for Anakin's sad backstory and all the slaves on Zygerria, but it's like he doesn't even realize that he has so much in common with them! It's just not obvious at first because the clones are treated kindly and aren't outright abused (most of them, at least).
Anyway, the point is: the clones are slaves. Like, the slaveist of slaves. And I need canon to acknowledge that at some point somewhere by some kind of character that canon acknowledges to be right. Because we all know it already. Canon already depicts the horrors of slavery. I just need them to say it out loud for once.

Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire outright states that inhibitor chips were designed to make clones obey multiple contingency orders and even uses the same terminology as Republic Commando
So not only are there probably still 150 contingency orders in canon, the chip activates for all of them

Story time!
Fox was having a shity day, and then he was having a great day.
The usual bullshit, politicians, riots, criminal activity, syndicates after his head. He hadn’t slept in 30 hours. He was out of fucks to give.
Palpatine knocked a pen off his desk and asked Fox to pick it up. Fox went blind with rage and shot him on the spot.
Corrie guards standing outside the room poke their heads in, and see what happened. They congratulate Fox and gently chide him for not giving them more advanced notice as they respectfully arrest him.
Fox is in prison for about 27 minutes while they fake his death via stabbing by inmates he had arrested previously. He gets the CT number and armor of an ARC captain and is sent back to work, as per protocol.
Fox decides that this is an excellent time to take a team and go take out the leader of the Black Sun syndicate because they’ve been a pain in the ass for a while now. So he loads up a slug thrower and goes to kill Maul.
Somehow, news of what happened got around rather quickly and many people came to the marshal commanders office demanding an explanation.
Thorn, newly promoted, was not having a good time.
“Fox has been arrested” he explained patiently “he’s dead now tho so don’t worry about it”
“What does our decommissioned batchmate have to do with this?” Cody and Wolffe demand “we’re here about Fletcher”
Thorn forgot about Fletcher.
Well, he didn’t forget. How could anyone forget Marshal Commander CC-1010 Fletcher- oh wait.
Thorn realizes he has Fucked Up. He does not offer further explanation. He just sits down in the shitty little chair behind the shitty little desk in the shitty little office full of generals and commanders staring at him suspiciously and Thorn banged his head on the desk. Maybe if he knocked himself out he wouldn’t have to deal with this.
The universe decides to mock him further. Fives and Dogma, who are supposed to be dead, stick their heads through the door and somehow miss the huge crowd of people.
“Fox just got back and he gave us Maul’s head before heading up to blackmail a senator after dealing with that riot, what do you want us to do with it?”
