Also, I know there's much more popular dynamics, but one of my favorite duos to think about is Fury and Steve's. Steve wildly disagrees with the amount of secrecy Fury keeps (when it comes to very important things that involve the wellbeing of others of course) but ultimately respects him and obeys his orders (when he deems them acceptable). And Fury adores Steve, respects him, trusts him even (which is fucking wild), but lowkey sees Steve as naive and someone to keep on his side...but also someone to not be open with.

Their relationship from their first meeting in CATFA, where Fury calms Steve down by being his first official introduction to present time, to the Avengers where Fury walks in on Steve breaking a sandbag via rage/grief-fueled PTSD punches and tells Steve about a mission and Steve agrees to it.

To CATWS where they butt-heads on morality and that being the catalyst for Fury trusting him when he has NO ONE else to trust because he knows Steve so well. But let's be clear - Fury doesn't only know Steve so well because he's a spy or because he's that observant - he knows Steve so well because Steve bares his truest self at all times and doesn't attempt to hide away what he stands for. He never has, and never will. And while Fury may think that's a foolish thing to do, it's what makes Steve the person he trusts to save the world. This is also out of all the Avengers by the way.

I don't know what exactly I mean to say by all this, but I love them and I would have loved to see them explored more.

need more biker/mechanic AC Cloud in my life. I think he'd need a lot of time alone to process in general and also to recover from interacting with so many people through his delivery job, and the best way to do that would be to keep his hands busy with familiar, repetitive motions. it'd be grounding for him to crouch on the hard floor of his garage and get his knees dusty and his hands oily from doing maintenance on Fenrir.

sometimes he'd have the radio on and whenever they're playing some particularly angry love song, he'd bob his head and mouth along to the lyrics while thinking about Sephiroth, all the while pretending he's not doing either of those things.

A beautiful collective. Once the storm is over, and we all evaporate, I can go back, to my "home" wake up again, like nothing happened, but the storm is just as much as my home. I will NEVER NOT bring this up, but let's ALL remember that Bruce was the first person in the Avengers to be nice to Steve and Steve was one of the first people ever to treat Bruce as a human - even while knowing exactly "what" he is and how he acquired the Hulk! We should have had more Bruce/Steve scenes! And would I be wrong if I said that Steve should have been the one to calm the Hulk into Bruce?

Though I'm a little conflicted on that because then we'd lose some MUCH needed Natasha scenes and y'all know just how much I unconditionally adore Natasha.

Watching the Avengers and seeing Steve in that suit is making me emotional in ways that some may deem "dramatic" and "overly-attached" and "psychotic"....and I concede. But only if we can all concede that Steve trying his best to put on a brave face and take in everything around him while still grieving is stomach churning when you really think about it.
