Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex by Martin_Heigan About this image A Camera Lens image of a section of the large Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex. Rho Ophiuchi is a dark nebula of gas and dust that is located 1° south of the star ρ Ophiuchi of the constellation Ophiuchus (close to the red Supergiant star Antares). The camera was on my Telescope Mount, with Sidereal Tracking and Autoguiding to counter track Earth's rotation (as I would normally do with my Telescope). About the Interstellar Cloud Colors: Fine dust illuminated from the front by starlight produces blue reflection nebulae. The atoms of gaseous clouds that are excited by ultraviolet starlight produce reddish emission nebulae. Back-lit dust clouds block light and appear dark. Antares (a red super-giant star, and one of the brighter stars in the night sky), lights up the yellow-red dust clouds. Rho Ophiuchi lies at the center of the blue nebula. Interstellar clouds are even more colorful than we can see in visible light, emitting light across a large portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. Cloud data breaches and cloud complexity on the rise

45% of businesses have experienced a cloud-based data breach or failed audit in the past 12 months, up 5% from the previous year, raising even greater concerns regarding protecting sensitive data from cybercriminals.

Globally, cloud adoption, and notably multi-cloud adoption, remains on the rise. In 2021, organizations worldwide were using an average amount of 110 software as a service (SaaS) applications, compared with just eight in 2015, showcasing a startlingly rapid increase. There has been a notable expansion in the use of multiple IaaS providers, with almost three-quarters (72%) of businesses using multiple IaaS providers, up from 57% the year before. The use of multiple providers has almost doubled in the last year, with one in five (20%) of respondents reporting using three or more providers.

M78 and Orion Dust Reflections: Each day a different image or photograph of our fascinating universe is featured, along with a brief explanation written by a professional astronomer. Read below: In the vast Orion Molecular Cloudcomplex, several bright blue nebulas are particularly apparent. Pictured here are two of the most prominent reflection nebulas - dust clouds lit by the reflecting light of bright embedded stars. The more famous nebula is M78, in the image center, cataloged over 200 years ago. To its left is the lesser known NGC 2071. Astronomers continue to studythese reflection nebulas to better understand how interior stars form. The Orion complex lies about 1500 light-years distant, contains the Orion andHorsehead nebulas, and covers much of theconstellation of Orion. Antares and Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex • 📸 @cshafimon • The Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex is one of the most colorful areas of the night sky and a favorite target for astrophotographers. It is a dark nebula of gas and dust that is located 1° south of the star ρ Ophiuchi of the constellation Ophiuchus. At an estimated distance of 131 ± 3 parsecs, it is one of the closest star-forming regions to the Solar System.
