Ikana Canyon [Tag]
An ancient, abandoned city-state located in a deep desert canyon. The city is partially below ground, within a massive cavern rife with magic-inundated flora and fauna. The Garo are the sole inhabitants, living in two hidden villages separate from the main cavern. They were originally a secret tribe of warriors who served the royal family of the ancient city-state. Though the kingdom has long since fallen, the tribe still remains. Okahni - Rustblood - A member of the Garo tribe and one of the last warriors who follow the tribe’s original purpose.
FV (Fishing Vessel) Argus [Tag 1] [Tag 2]
The FV Argus is a modified fishing trawler, now equipped to chase, fight, and haul giant aquatic fauna. It’s equipped with two mounted, electrified harpoon launchers, plus an electric net. They have a psionic generator for the net/harpoon launchers, as the ship’s normal generator isn’t enough to handle it. They use electricity to stun/immobilize creatures they’re hauling, because bringing them back mostly alive is better than dead. Anagyn Felwal - Purpleblood - Captain and main sales negotiator. He mostly handles the paperwork and finances stuff. Doesn’t like to lose money. Winnet Ackvee - Tealblood - Sales / Financial advisor. She tends to avoid the rest of the crew and often stays on shore. Domheo Tehein - Rustblood - Operations Control; Basically he’s one of the ones at the control board, manning radio/sonar + keeping everyone in contact and on the same page Ketler Dobayl - Bronzeblood - Operations Control, Medical Specialist Haelia Fehran - Violetblood - Medical Specialist, Rescue Eryeit Yiheim - Bronzeblood - Mechanic, Psionic Specialist, Labor; She powers the psionic generators when they need electricity Dsirel Terebi - Yellowblood - Mechanic, Labor; He’s very grumpy and he and Eryeit bicker a lot; The two of them have worked together for a long time. Nebale Kaivis - Violetblood - Hunter, Labor; Nebale chases their marks to the surface within range of the ship’s harpoons, allowing them to be hunted without requiring bait.
SV (Sailing Vessel) Thunderstroke
A barque ship currently serving as a private merchant vessel. About half the crew of 20 are temp workers. Many of the crew share jobs. Anirus Hyderi - Goldblood - Captain. After inadvertently causing a mutiny against the former captain, Anirus was voted into the position by the remaining crew. Anaste - Rustblood - Serves as medic and cook, and repairs the ropes and sails as needed. Has been on the ship since the previous Captain; Sweet, but strong-willed. Heil - Violetblood - First Mate, general advisor. He’s spent most of his life on a ship and has been on the Thunderstroke since the previous Captain. Well-meaning and generally relaxed but can be a bit coarse. Domura - Bronzeblood - Sailor with no specific role. Has telekinesis.
The Fangs [Tag 1] [Tag 2]
A mutant-operated gang with a number of lowblood members, without a single member above olive who isn’t also a mutant. Most members go by multiple different nicknames. The gang operates across a single city, but generally avoids stepping on the toes of other gangs, with its primary focus just to provide safety and income for mutants and lowbloods. Members often have one or more tattoos of fanged animals baring their teeth, and maybe hemoanon or wear multiple colors to rebel or obfuscate their true color. Intel, drugs, fight rings, and illegal weaponry are how the Fangs make their money. They are headed by the One-through-Four, a group of four mysterious trolls who are unknown to most members and the authorities. They own and operate several bars (namely Dogbite and Adderhead) which also serve as safe areas for their members, and sometimes also host fight rings. One - Fuchsiablood - A land-dwelling fuchsia and one of the four heads of the Fangs. Three - Goldblood - A bug-winged mutant with future sight psionics. Often warns of attacks on the gang’s places of operation and is something of a bleeding heart. Silans (AKA Lectro or Champion) - A candy red mutant who holds the title of Champion of Dogbite, which is the Fangs’ main bar. He provides advanced weaponry and cybernetics for the Fangs. Missah (AKA Missy, Sis, or Shotgun) - A limeblood who bartends at Adderhead. She secretly reports directly to the Numbers. Doc (AKA Jackal) - An oliveblood with black horns, a tail, and digitigrade legs. Serves as the fight ring doctor of the Adderhead fight ring. Lloric - Former Champion of the Adderhead fight ring. No longer a member of the Fangs. Whistler - A bronzeblood and the main bouncer of Adderhead. Usually wears a hat which shades his eyes. Has sight-based psionics which allow him to never miss a (still) target when using a ranged weapon.
Gaia [Tag 1] [Tag 2]
A long-standing organization whose main purpose is to anticipate and prevent world-ending catastrophies and other major calamities, especially of a magical, eldritch, or otherwise supernatural nature. Gaia employs many mages, mutants, even otherworldly entities, providing safety, comraderie, and income for those who would otherwise struggle on hostile Alternia. Begrudgingly, the Empire turns a blind eye to their illegal members for the protection that the organization provides.
Stormbringer ([REDACTED], “Dragonmom”) - Purpleblood - One of the two guardian deities of Alternia, who provides Gaia members with special protections. Hanabi - Jadeblood - Head of Operations and defacto leader, after the previous leadership betrayed the organization. Mikail - Tealblood - Head of the Investigations branch. Glasya - Purpleblood - Head archivist.
Shattered Star [Tag]
A “freelance” Fleet special ops group which generally performs jobs for the ‘highest bidder’ rather than answering to one authority in particular. Darvai - Purpleblood - Head of the group. Has potent psionics which allow him to view and alter the dreams and memories of those who are sleeping. Zarali - Candy Redbloood - Darvai’s adoptive daughter. Special Ops, specifically assassination and stealth. Has potent illusionary psionics. Two - Blueblood - A genetically altered supersoldier with massively powerful telekinesis. Typhos - Rustblood - A mage with extremely sensitive psychic empathy. Byrron - Blueblood - The ship’s engineer and weapons expert. Enjoys making things go boom. Vallai - Mutant Blueblood (Sky) - A freelance non-Fleet junker who wound up getting caught after saving Darvai’s life. She can turn herself into water. Lilani (Lila) - Yellowblood - The ship’s battery who hijacked the ship’s AI. She communicates via computer-generated voice and images on the ship’s intercomm and screens, and also has access to the ship’s artillery- Allowing it to carry far heavier firepower than the ship’s small size would suggest.
Mad Dog Mercenaries [Tag]
A small ragtag group of mercenaries. They have a small office in the midblood business district which doubles as partial living quarters and a safe zone for its members. They were previously associated with the mob that Nebale worked for, but have since moved cities and gone ‘legit’ since the mob dissolved. Mad Dog typically works in “brute force”, aka providing clients with combatants, chaos, and destruction, but also moves illicit cargo (on the down-low) and has started branching into intel and hacking. Don (Mad Dog) - Candy Redblood/Hemoanon - A hulking hemoanon missing his right forearm, with multiple heavy weapons he uses in place of a cybernetic. Munitions and demolitions expert, and the brains behind Mad Dog’s operations. Nari (Bullets/Blades) - Ceruleanblood - General combatant and field weapons expert. He gets along with Don fairly well, on a professional level. Mattie (Fangs) - Jadeblood - A seven-sweep-old prodigy hacker. Died at 6 sweeps and became a rainbow drinker, and lost his Empire stipend so he had to get a job. Epic gamer and resident tech expert, often acts as the eyes and ears for Mad Dog via self-built camera drones and hacked feeds. Wires - A former semi-integrated helmsman for a private ship. Was picked up by Don when the ship was scrapped. A decently powerful telekinetic and is capable of making simple solid objects (Such as walls, blocks, stairs) out of psychic energy. Ike (Soldier) - Candy Redblood/Hemoanon - An old friend of Don’s and long-time mercenary, even before joining Mad Dog. Wolf shifter and melee combatant for Mad Dog. Tee (Glasses) - Tealblood - One of the first members of Mad Dog. A former legislacerator who ran afoul of the wrong people. Handles accounts, acquisitions, and major mechanic work. Nerizo (Nuke, C4) - Goldblood - Exactly as her callsign implies, Nerizo serves primarily as a professional wrecking ball for Mad Dog. She’s working on other skills outside of combat. Mad Dog appreciates her surprising cooking ability.
Valley Cavern [Tag]
An ancient and massive brooding cavern largely isolated from the surface. The cavern is split into multiple clans which have risen and fallen over the cavern’s long history. There is considerable infighting between the clans as they vie for available resources and positions of power within the cavern. Chel - Jadeblood - An Astaki warrior serving outwardly as a well-respected knight, and secretly serving as a spy for her clan.

Most of these aren’t organizations per se. Or at least probably not the type you’re looking for, idk
Gaia- An organization made to handle celestial (primarily Eldritch) and major magical threats. Basically, they’re there to make sure the planet doesn’t blow up or get eaten by something.
https://goddesstrolls-moving.tumblr.com/tagged/gaia
https://goddesstrolls.tumblr.com/tagged/lore:%20gaia
I had a city called Dubhithe that was trapped in a bubble of eldritch influence and a lot of fucked up stuff happened. Very Bloodborne inspired.
https://goddesstrolls-moving.tumblr.com/tagged/dubhithe
I have two seafaring ships- The FV Argus, which Nebale works on, and the FV Thunderstroke, which Ani is the captain of. The Argus is a fishing trawler modified for hunting aquatic megafauna, and the Thunderstroke is a merchant ship.
The Volcanic Deep brooding cavern was an extremely isolated cavern with a weird social structure as a result. Beihet, Valeia, Astira, and Mikora are all from this cavern, you can get a pretty good idea of it from the Glimmer in The Dark plotline
https://toyhou.se/~literature/144421.glimmer-in-the-dark
https://goddesstrolls-moving.tumblr.com/tagged/glimmer%20in%20the%20dark/chrono (This version has the artwork and threads associated w/ the plot, the toyhouse version just has the drabbles)
The Fangs are a small-time, primarily mutant/lowblood gang that operates primarily in one city. Lloric and Silans run with them and Harkes works alongside them but is not a member.
https://goddesstrolls-moving.tumblr.com/tagged/fangs
Then there’s the Shattered Star crew, motley crew of weirdos running around space having adventures.
https://goddesstrolls-moving.tumblr.com/tagged/code:shatteredstar
And last but not least, the Ikana Ruins group which Okahni is a part of.
https://goddesstrolls.tumblr.com/tagged/lore:%20tanakar%20kingdom
There was also a now-dissolved gang that Cheran was apart of, run by a purpleblood named Myleia who had voodoos that made people obsessed with her, and worked better the higher the caste. You can imagine how that went.
By the way friends who are awake at this hour
Uhh. Link me information about organizations you have. I would like. To read
Or reblog and tell me about them

Shattered Star Event
(Part 1 of 2 | PART 2 HERE)
Darvai stood in the bridge, taking in the view on the massive three-panel screen taking up nearly the entirety of the front wall. The middle panel displayed what was directly in front of them, while the left and right panels displayed what was to port and starboard, respectively. A forth screen at the top displayed what was to stern.
All four screens displayed feathery strands of light; Blazing gas from the erupted remnants of a star.
“How are the shields?”
“Still at 100.” Typhos piped up.
Darvai gave a curt nod in response. The hull would protect them some, but this amount of light radiation and heat would surely be fatal, delving into the guts of a supernova like they were.
Of course, the shields wouldn’t help them any if the neutron star they were on the edges of decided to collapse. It could do so in a mere second, forming a black hole that would almost certainly trap them within it’s event horizon at this distance.
Intercepted communications from last night had indicated that something of importance was located at this recent supernova, and their General-in-command had mobilized an entire Sector. But the war carriers were slow, and their enemy was not foolish; They’d no doubt be long gone by the time the General arrived. There was risk of a trap, of course; All the more reason to scout ahead rather than let the General blunder straight in.
Far be it that they were mere scouting party, however. Scans had confirmed there was something here, not much bigger than their ship, and it stood to reason that they could take it out or capture it themselves.
Their trump card was their superior firepower- The ship was loaded with high-power weaponry, that would typically need a large crew to man. But all the turrets were automated, and access was granted to their integrated pilot. Dangerous, if she decided to go rogue, but so was any one troll on this ship. Darvai trusted her, and she trusted Darvai to take care of her.
“I’m picking up a reading, headed this way. Turning 30 degrees port.”
Darvai leaned on the console in front of him as the screen footage slowly shifted, and the half-dead neutron star came into view. Drifting into view, circling the star, was a cross-shaped, jet black ship. The ship came to a halt dead ahead, the arms slowly adjusting.
“I’m picking up high energy readings on the ends of those arms.” Typhos sounded puzzled, and Darvai tilted his head. It was an odd shape for their enemy’s ships. For any ship, really. Maybe a colony satellite, but it was too heavily armored, and the energy readings they’d picked up were far too high for a civilian vessel.
“Prepare to engage.”
Typhos flicked a switch turning on ship-wide intercoms. “All hands, man your stations. All hands, man your stations. Engaging reduced gravity in sixty seconds, repeat: Engaging reduced gravity in sixty seconds.”
Darvai waited for her broadcast to end, before flicking the switch for the intercom directly to the battery room, and leaving it on. “Prepare to engage, Lila.”
An overly cheerful, computer-generated voice chirped over the intercom; “Aye-aye~!”
“Engaging reduced gravity.” Typhos said into the ship-wide intercom, and slid the lever down to 30%.
Darvai felt his feet lift slightly off the ground, and he held onto one of the two throttles at his sides for support.
“Those energy readings are rising,” Typhos noted, furrowing her brow. “Based on the overall energy reading, together they’re at 5% of total mass. 7%.”
Darvai furrowed his brow, and flicked two switches on the console in front of him in succession, each pulling control from the two ancillary consoles and granting full flight power to his console. He flicked a third to give Typhos control as a backup, and then looked back up at the screen.
“Give them a warning shot, Lila.”
A few lasers streaked across the screen, originating from them, and slammed into the ship- But didn’t seem to have much effect, it’s hull too thick for the shots Lila fired to pierce.
“15%,” Typhos continued. “18- 19-”
A glint of light in the center of the enemy ship caught Darvai’s eye. He jerked the throttle to the side, tilting the ship diagonally and sending them veering to the side- Just in time to avoid a massive laser blast aimed right where they had been.
“-That was 20%.” Typhos commented with remarkable calm.

Mini-profiles for the shattered star team!
Darvai- A former draft dodger who was eventually caught and shipped out. He wasn’t supposed to be capable of earning promotions, but his quick wit, skill, and devotion to the Fleet have allowed that to be waived...Or so the claim goes. As far as the Fleet is aware he has no psionics; In truth, he has the ability to alter the dreams and memories of those who are sleeping.
Zarali- Darvai’s adoptive daughter. Something of a loose cannon, though she’s still quite careful and calculated. She has the ability to create powerful illusions, bending light around her, which means that psionic blockers do not work unless she’s wearing it. She uses this ability to hide her caste and masquerade as a purpleblood. She and Darvai were separated for a time during their careers. Typically she does special ops, espionage, and intel. Beyond that she helps with data logging, charting their course, tactics, and general management.
Two- A genetically altered supersoldier which extremely powerful psychic abilities. The Shattered Star team spent five sweeps trying to locate him and the team that was developing him. The newest member of the team; They’re basically trying to teach him how to be a person. He wears special armor to regulate his abilities.
Typhos- A rustblooded mage with exceptionally powerful psychic empathy. She has a razor-sharp tongue and is typically beyond standoffish, but does like to be helpful. She was transferred to Darvai under the assumption that they’d only be working together briefly, but they wound up getting along. Highly organized and efficient, and excels in management.
Byrron- A somewhat loud-mouthed blueblood with very little emotional intelligence. Enjoys making things explode, doesn’t enjoy fixing the damage. He gets a little aggravated by the droll of ship repair and hopes Darvai will pick up another mechanic so he can just fuss around with weapons. He and Typhos are kismesises.
Vallai- A former non-Fleet junker who saved Darvai’s life, so he repaid the favor by granting her a place on his ship. She uses this to her advantage and doesn’t really do a whole lot besides help Byrron some. Possibly a mutant, she can turn her body completely into water. She and Two wind up hanging out a lot since they have the least work responsibilities out of the crew.
Lilani, or Lila- The ship’s battery. Normally batteries are rendered incapable of communication by the helming process, but Lila has electronics manipulation. It took several sweeps, but she hijacked and built the ship’s AI into her own personality. She now communicates with everyone via a computer generated voice and images on the intercomm and ship screens. Darvai has also granted her control of the ship’s artillery.

some more team shattered star :3
Vaalai works with Byrron as a mechanic. Two’s struggling a bit to find his place on the ship since he doesn’t have any technical skills.
Byrron and Typhos have an unofficial kismesistude. Typhos is seldom seen and works behind the scenes because she’s a highly sensitive empath and being near people gives her a headache.

shattered star event synopsis/end results
- Alien empire (most likely intentionally) let trolls intercept messages about “Something Important” drifting around in a supernova
- General wants to mobilize an entire fleet, Darvai’s like ‘Nah, fuck that’ and goes alone, which really sums up Darvai’s fleet career
- “Something Important” turned out to be a giant fucking gun. Darvai bonked it into a black hole
- General decides to attempt to take the credit and claim he suggested Darvai take it on alone/sensationalizes the whole affair
- Except everyone knows this guy likes to brag and instead are like “👀 Woah who’s this new war hero” @ Darvai
- Darvai’s like ‘...Yeah sure I’m a war hero I guess”
- As the war against this particular enemy continues, they realize that taking out that weapon was a major win and multiple people credit the weapon’s destruction/SSE to the eventual winning of the war, which keeps Darvai’s name in people’s mouths for a few years
- Darvai takes advantage of this by continuing to pull kind of crazy stunts which contribute to his and his team’s fame

Vaalai was previously a civilian junker who collected and sold scrap to the Fleet. They saved Darvai’s life at one point, but in the process it was discovered that they owed quite a lot of money to the Fleet, and they were conscripted as a result. As thanks for saving him Darvai got them a place on his ship rather than them being thrown out on the front lines, and at this point they’re like ‘eh i’m cool w/ it’. They can also turn themselves into water/gel (while maintaining their form).
Typhos is a legitimate mage, though this is undocumented by the Fleet and she’s just never explained how she can hit people with lightning when her psionics are obviously emotional reading. High emotions cause her pain/headaches which causes her to be highly irate most of the time, but Darvai/Zarali/Two are tolerable.
Byrron likes blowing things up. He’s the only one (so far) without psionics but he’s developed power armor for himself so he’s effectively a walking tank with the firepower to match.

breaks my knuckles
Okay, more on Code:ShatteredStar
They are known for being *the people* to go to when you’ve exhausted your options- Or, you just want someone you know is capable to handle the task. Things like locating particularly dangerous criminals or weeding out difficult-to-find spies/rebel leakers.
They’re considered exemplary Fleet members by a lot of officers because they’re loyal to the Fleet/The Empress- Not whatever superior picked them up and broke them down or happens to be above them, just the Fleet as a concept. They’re known only to target enemies of the Fleet- Rather than fellow Fleet members (such as assassinations or blackmail), making it easy to believe they are a safe option.
Some, of course, consider that lack of loyalty to one officer dangerous, and for good reason, but they’re a very useful tool to have on hand regardless.
And, of course, those who’ve been brought down by the shattered star team usually don’t even know it, or they’ve already disappeared and are thus unable to bring the truth to light.

After an incident where Darvai saved his team by nearly sacrificing himself, he was promoted to Colonel and granted his own ship. From there he basically built his own special ops team which earned the code name shattered star (from an event which gained them their fame)
Typhos was originally transferred to him but they wound up getting along. There’s another member (Vaporeon) who was formerly a ‘Fleet junker’ aka a civilian who collected and sold scrap to the Fleet; She wound up joining because it turned out she owed the Fleet quite a lot of money and Darvai owed her a favor for saving his life, so he got her into a comfortable position on his team.
Two is the most recent member. Still thinking of other members and their relationship to Darvai, tho.
I also need to figure out their level of fame within the Fleet.

the main thing with the shattered star team is that they’re not directly under any specific General- The chain of command stops at Darvai, and though he has to answer to anyone directly above him, he’s somehow avoided getting assimilated into any sectors.
Some people consider this suspicious but there’s no evidence of foul play. His team just kind of works as a neutral force, doing special tasks for various higher-ups.
