Listening to that lil zubin album again and it's still great, but I used to always get annoyed about him because he seems to interchangeably use the names 'lil zubin' and 'zubin' with no clear rhyme or reason. So how do you know what to call him and be correct? "Well either one is correct!" Go fuck yourself that doesn't make sense!

But I don't care anymore. His name is lil zubin and if he says differently he's wrong and I'm right.

Elijah Coldwell hat nun endgültig genug vor seiner Panik, all dem Leid und seiner Angst. Alles, was er jetzt will, ist Harrison Grant ein für alle Mal das Handwerk zu legen und ihn für seine Taten bestrafen. Der Mann sorgte nicht nur dafür, dass sein Leben vor dreizehn Jahren zu einem Albtraum wurde, nein, er sorgt immer noch dafür. Elijah weiß, dass er seine Familie nur vor ihm beschützen kann, wenn er bereit ist, alles aufs Spiel zu setzten – auch wenn das bedeutet, dass er die Frau verlieren könnte, die ihm alles bedeutet … Die Autorin liefert einen gelungenen Abschluss der Coldhart Reihe. Die Bücher können nicht unabhängig gelesen werden. Lena Kiefer hat einen wundervollen Schreibstil, er ist fesselnd, emotional und flüssig. Man fliegt durch die Seiten und wird immer wieder von neuen Dingen überrascht. Die Entwicklung der Geschichte war ganz anders als ich erwartet hatte und ich konnte das Buch kaum mehr aus der Hand legen, als ich mal angefangen hatte zu lesen. Sie setzt auf gekonnte Twists und nicht allzu lange Kapitel, der Leser kommt somit voll auf seine Kosten. Elijah hat im Laufe der Reihe eine charakterliche Entwicklung durchgemacht, die man selten bewundern kann. Besonders in diesem Band hat man gespürt, wie er gewachsen ist und über sich hinauswachsen konnte. Felicitys Handlungen allerdings konnte ich teils nicht ganz nachvollziehen, teils wirkte sie schon sehr naiv in manchen Dingen. Fazit: Ein toller Abschluss einer unglaublichen Reihe, bei der man sich direkt noch mehr Bände gewünscht hätte.
