1. Colette (2018)
My fiancé's favorite movie, he was very excited when I told him I wanted to watch it hehe
Ngl I was expecting a completely different movie based on how he talked about it in the past fggfghjk. I'm not sure he even mentioned what the movie was actually about, let alone that it was based on a true story. So let me tell you, when he was gassing up those lesbian sex scenes our entire relationship, I basically thought that was the whole movie.
Expectations aside, this was a very good film. I have never felt such visceral disgust and hatred for a character before, but holy shit they pulled it off so well. I guess they had real life accounts to pull from, but y'know. You can really feel how trapped Colette is during the movie. Super worth watching, just maybe look up some trigger warnings just in case.

closed starter for @littlestramp location: deville halloween party
It shouldn’t have been a surprise, shouldn’t have shaken him as much as it had, seeing Sam enter the party wearing a couple’s costume with his girlfriend. But the mere sight of the two of them together, matching and on theme, had felt like a punch to the gut. It wasn’t like Michael hadn’t expected them to come together and if he had really thought on it, he would have known they’d be in a matching costume like practically every other couple at the party. But he hadn’t let himself think that hard, instead trying to focus on the good things that were going to happen throughout the night - like John getting to meet Phil for the first time and spending time with Joy and the rest of his friends outside of just the lost boys. Maybe he should have prepared himself better for this, perhaps if he had warned himself internally of this happening it wouldn’t feel like such a huge deal.
Avoiding the two was actually easier than Michael had thought it would be, though, thankfully. The party was large and filled with enough people that any time he caught sight of either of them, it wasn’t hard to move the other way or grab someone else’s attention to make him seem busy. Or at least, for the majority of the night that had been the case. But now as he enters the mostly empty kitchen in hopes of making another drink for himself, the sight of Colette practically makes him freeze in his spot. As their eyes meet, he knows he can’t just run away, even if that’s what every instinct in his body was screaming at him to do. “Hey,” he greets instead, unsure what else to say as he forces his feet to move and steps up to the island to mix another drink together for himself. There was probably more he was supposed to do, make small talk or something, but he quite literally has no clue what would be okay to say to the girl in front of him.

@sxbstantialfxndom said: “I… I don’t understand, what’s happening?” (Colette to 10?)
The Doctor was fumbling over the controls of the console he was standing at, sonic in one hand and his other hand pressing buttons in a futile attempt to stabilise the capsule they were trapped in. "I'm so sorry!" he said without looking at her. "There's nothing I can do." He turned to her. "Brace for impact!"

who: @littlestramp where: lotties nye
Marie wasn't used to having a sister, especially when they'd gotten off on the completely wrong foot. It had seemed suspicious at the time with her developing crush on Sam and lack of knowledge that's who his girlfriend was. The blonde thought of it as more embarrassing than anything now to look back on, happy to have gotten a friend out of it but worried it continued to divide her from a sister. While it was all in the past she no longer wanted it to determine her future but Tink seemed to have already taken care of that. Marie noticed her leaving the main room when she decided to follow her, pausing her own conversation to catch Colette who headed outside. "You look si bon," she started by acknowledging something they both knew to be true. Marie released the air she held onto and the posture she made sure was perfect in the venue, allowing a more raw side of herself to show that she meant no harm. "How are you doing?" As to not scare her away from conversation Marie tried to use herself as a battering ram. "I don't know if you've heard but Tink's on a rampage against me so if you hear anything, be sure to tell her she's no saint either."

closed starter for @littlestramp location: oogie's casino - sometime after christmas but before new years
The only one of his children he still had any regular contact with was the youngest of them all, and while it annoyed and angered him that none of the others wanted anything to do with him anymore, Colette really was the only one he needed. As long as he had her by his side, Tristan knew he stood a chance of getting his family back. For once, he had actually done the smart thing in his life and had stayed clear of his old home during the holidays, instead spending the time with his in-laws and hoping that being there with them would show his ex-wife just how dedicated he was to this family and the commitment he had made to her years ago. Now with Christmas officially over and everyone in the limbo before New Years Eve, it was the perfect time to reach out and finally get at least a piece of his family with him.
It thankfully wasn’t all that hard to get Colette to agree to meet him at the casino. Not that Tramp currently had any reason to believe that her stance with him had changed at all, but still he had worried she may want to do something better than just share lunch in his back office. It was always a risk being out in public during broad daylight though, and with his plans to crash the New Years Eve event, Tristan figured it was better to just lay low for a bit right now. His head popped up from the papers he was looking over as the door opened and a genuine grin grew on his lips as he stood to meet his daughter and wrap an arm around her in a hug. “Letti-girl, I’ve missed you,” he greets with actual sincerity. It was always easiest to fall back into the dad mode he used to have somewhat perfected back in the day when it came to the youngest Tramp child. Perhaps because she had never turned against him and had always stood by his side even when the rest of the family started painting him as some kind of villain. But that wasn’t a thought he should dwell on now, not when he had his one supporter by his side. “I got you a gift. It’s a little late, I know, but I guess my invitation for Christmas morning got lost in the mail.” A joke that wasn’t all that amusing and he hoped would actually cause a bit of guilt to flash through the girl, making her sympathize with him more than he thought she already did. It had been hard, after all, knowing his family was all together without him on such an important holiday.

closed starter for @littlestramp location: thumper's yard - the day of tramp's death
Telling Annette everything that had happened over the past twelve hours had gone far better than Lilah ever could have expected, but that didn’t make her any less worried about how her other two daughters were going to take the news. Both Danielle and Colette were far closer with Tristan than her middle child ever was, the youngest one in particular was quite the daddy’s girl. It wasn’t going to be an easy conversation to have, telling Coletti that her father was dead and her mother had been the one to pull the trigger on him - especially considering she still didn’t know anything about the abuse. Despite how desperate she felt to put it all off for as long as she potentially could, Lilah knew that wasn’t a real option. They both needed to know now, as soon as possible, which was why she had called them both with a request to come to Thumper’s Yard as quickly as they could, mentioning that Scamp had been shot but not saying anything quite yet regarding their father. Ellie’s call had gone to voicemail, given that she was at work right now, so it’s not a surprise that Colette is the first to arrive. And given that the girl had never been to Thumper’s Yard before, Lilah had instructed that when she arrived someone come to tell her before just letting her come right into Scamp’s little makeshift hospital room.
As soon as one of Colin’s men told her that one of the girls was here, Lilah was out of her seat and following behind to meet her daughter out in the front area of the warehouses. “Coletti,” she greets, moving right over to wrap her arms around the girl in a tight embrace. She didn’t let go even as she continued to speak. “He’s still knocked out, they said he probably won’t wake up for a few more hours - but you can come see him if you want.” Finally pulling back some, a purposefully calm and collected expression was plastered on her face as she looked down at her daughter, trying to gauge how she’s reacting to all of this so far. “And then we need to talk. There was – a lot happened today.”

closed starter for @littlestramp location: heathers filming set
Movie sets weren’t exactly the type of places that Tink often hung around, even when she did have multiple friends starring in said film. But when a call came to the repair shop needing immediate assistance on some of the tech needed for their upcoming shoot, it made the most sense for the blonde to be sent out to help. The job wasn’t that hard, something anyone with a bit of mechanical know-how could have probably fixed, so she was done earlier than anticipated. Which meant she had two options for the rest of her day: go back to the stop and sit around fiddling with whatever needed or chill where she was, hang out with some friends, and get paid for technically being on a call. And between those choices, well it was kind of a no brainer.
Wandering around semi-aimlessly through the current filming location, Tink didn’t really have anyone in particular in mind that she was looking for. She knew both Nibs and Sharpay were cast in this project, but she had no real way of knowing if either of them were here today. Though once she found the row of trailers for the stars and different departments, she figured that would probably be her best chance of finding anyone she knew. What she wasn’t expecting was for a familiar, yet unwelcomed, face to be walking out of the very trailer she was about to go and inspect. “Coletti?” she questions, frowning at the sight of the other girl. A glance at the name on the door behind her seemingly confirmed her suspicion that the brunette wasn’t necessarily supposed to be here. “What the hell are you doing here? Why were you in Angelica’s trailer? Are you some kind of superfan stalker now?” The assumption was rude, but Tink hardly gave a shit. As far as she was concerned, there was no other valid reason for why her friend’s girlfriend would be hanging around here.

closed starter for @littlestramp location: scamp's sibling mixer
Now the youngest of the Tramp was the one that he had been warned about the most - not in a necessarily bad way, but well, there was no denying that there was certainly something about Colette that had him a bit wary. But tonight was supposed to be about getting to know all of his new siblings and Toulouse needed to make a good example for the other two, specifically Berlioz. Maybe if his brother saw the effort he was putting into talking to the Tramps, he might try to do the same. Plus it was probably time he at the very least introduced himself to his new sisters. “Colette?” he asks, only slightly hesitant as he approaches the younger girl with a smile. “Bonsoir. We haven’t met yet, I’m Toulouse. Your brother has told me a bit about you - but it is nice to finally officially meet.” It’s a bit more formal than he normally is, but he doesn’t know how else to really behave around the girl he’s heard so much about.

CLOSED for @thrustfists
The kitchens are loud, buzzing with life. She could already hear it before she turned the corner and, if anything, it seemed like a more entertaining time than whatever the main ballroom was experiencing. She'd been trying to maintain conversation with an utterly tedious Baron when Colette caught the corner of her eye, scurrying this way, and so Eleanor had promptly given the man an excuse and followed after her lady-in-waiting. "Colette, darling," she calls, a skip in her step to catch up before she catches the other's hand in hers to get her attention. There's a warm smile offered, before she looks around them, taking in the tumult of all the work and chatter and music happening in the kitchens. "I've been meaning to fetch myself something to drink, will you help me find it? I could only find alcohol to drink out there -- though, given the dreadful conversations I've been forced into, I'm almost resorting to it."

"You need not follow me around, Fraulein Colette," the queen halted in her tracks, wondering how on Earth a queen is supposed to behave towards her staff. There was hardly an example before her, and as a Lady in Waiting, she was inseparable from Princess Eleanor... look how well that turned out. "Please, enjoy yourself this evening. Perhaps there is someone you may dance with?"

normally he didn't mind celebrations, able to come out of his shell when surrounded by familiar courtiers and accustomed to the traditions that shaped gatherings at the palace. grief altered that. slipping away from a conversation, kai took a seat on an empty bench. the gardens were pleasant, almost peaceful were it not for the loud, echoing voices and music. movement was spotted out of the corner of his eye but he didn't turned in the lady's direction until he realized she hadn't moved past him. ❝ can i help you with something? ❞

Izzy had been watching the young woman in awe, the strange and beautiful blue glow overtaking her reminding her of the stories Milo had told her of the time Kida had been called to the Heart of Atlantis in order to protect her kingdom.
"Well, I think that's amazing!" Izzy finishes Colette's sentence. She smiles, oblivious in her wonderment and curiosity to the fact that the other might not have wanted anyone to know about her ability. She has a habit of not being the best people-reader, friendly and open as she is, and sticking her nose in other people's business when she really shouldn't.
"How do you do that -- and do you know why, or it does it just happen for no reason at all?" she presses eagerly. She's tempted to ask if she's heard of a place called Atlantis, but she knows how important it is to keep her friends' secret (and besides, she wasn't wearing a crystal around her neck, so it likely doesn't have anything to do with that after all). "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone!"

who: @littlestramp where: marie's album listening party
It wasn't a surprise that Colette showed up at the event, especially when Sam got a personal invitation from her when she visited his apartment. The blonde had also sent out a text in the group chat her half-brother had made for them last year but didn't expect to get a reply from the youngest Tramp. When Marie had seen her enter she had been busy socializing to greet them, making a mental note to return to them later to give the appropriate thank you for coming. The blonde found her opportunity when they were separated so that she didn't have to navigate them both at once, Colette already on guard enough on her own. "Bonsoir," she started expecting backlash right away. "Thank you for coming, are you enjoying the evening so far?" Duchess had taught her daughter to handle every situation with grace but there was an underlying attitude that she couldn't smile away which Colette seemed to have one of her own. "Is it safe to assume you won't be listening to the album? Or can you allow yourself to enjoy suspension of disbelief for a second?"

closed starter for @littlestramp location: outside a friend's apartment
Two weeks. That was how long Tristan had been back from the dead and yet he hadn’t seen or heard from his youngest daughter once. Not after he attacked Jim Jr, nor after speaking to both Scamp and Lilah during the halloween ball. He had wanted to seek out the youngest of his children on that night, but had wound up sidetracked by other matters of business at hand. And truth be told, a part of Tramp had been waiting for Colette to come to him, feeling as if it shouldn’t be on him to go and find her. But as the days turned into weeks, it became clear that wasn’t going to happen and if he wanted to see the girl, he was going to have to make the first move. Which was easier said than done, given the way that she bounced from place to place and always seemed to be surrounded by others, but Tristan was determined.
Following others around to corner them was a tactic that worked well enough in the past and would hopefully keep that winning streak up as he practically stalked his daughter all day. Finally they ended at one of her friends' apartments, where Tristan parked his ass inside of his car for the long haul, waiting all night until his daughter finally emerged from the complex building - alone for the first time in days. Jumping out of the car, he was quick to approach the girl, grabbing onto her shoulder to catch her attention as she continued to walk away. “Hey, hey. Come on, you really aren’t gonna run away from your old man are you?” It might not be the best way to introduce himself back into her life - but Tristan wasn’t sure what it was Colette even knew. Whether she was even aware that he was alive again or not. It was smartest for him to play it off as if she was already in the loop and this was any other day of them somehow just running into each other on the street.

There is a look of bewilderment on her face as she looks around the camp, back to him, and then down to her hands. "I...I don't know! I mean, obviously I must have, right?!" Her brow furrows as she tries to think of what to do. "Gods I'm a monster...! I just woke up and looked down! And she was like this!" But oh was there a deep rumble in her soul. Something was satisfied with what had been done, even though she felt utterly sick to her stomach. "I rather liked her song to her mentor...fuck....fuck! What do I do?!"
