Been a couple of years, but I still think fondly of Grace Monroe from Infinity Train for achieving that very rare redemption arc narrative of "the people you hurt are allowed to sever all ties, and you can still become a better, happier person."
most of ace attorney's attempts at m/f are terrible but i have to give a special shout-out to whoever decided to have juniper and apollo share this charged moment while she's cosplaying as his mother
sometimes a found family is a sleep-deprived inventor devoted to society and his best friend-husband, the kind yet hypocritically vengeful witch-mentor-husband in question, a once-lonely girl who was betrayed by her first family and healed in another, a pink-haired ball of sunshine who wants to make as many people happy as she can, an autistic kid who wants to be able to be her authentic self, and a brushbug-loving girl that through a series of events is now currently bearing the weight of her world and THE world on her shoulders. and they’re all traumatized
I just know Gojo has thrown it back whilst yelling "shawty had them apple bottom jeans" at the top of his lungs all the while Suguru was trying to sleep, argue w a wall
Always a bit surprised when one of my friends in the early 20s makes reference to something like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, like...that series ended when you were in a diapers. I mean, it's not like I was constantly making reference to, say, "Dallas" when I was your age.
Haven't seen this posted anywhere, but while browsing IG I came across someone who posted exclusive CEI footage of the Fatz and Mama Grandbags animatronics stationed outside of the BCJ at Morey's Piers! This is the only known footage of these guys there so it's really cool to see them in action! Credit goes to conceptcheeseent on IG. Remember! Don't tell Aaron!
Edit: Here's some more I dug up while looking around. It only shows him deactivated and the outside of the weirdly empty boardwalk but still interesting none the less!
Increased One Piece posting on my dash has reminded me of how way back when Ivanov was relatively recently introduced character I was unreasonably mad about the extreme body shape changes with the speedHRT hormone powers. And then also got mad about fandom ignoring Zoro's fairly character-important opinions on women and how they aren't in any way inferior to men, or different in ways that ought to matter.
Which resulted in me writing this very stupid and fun fic which I absolutely did not post online, in which Zoro got spontaneously transformed into a female version of himself by some Grand Line bullshit and ignored it, as he is wont to do anything he decides is meaningless.
And he was so buff that despite his continuing to exercise topless on deck nobody else noticed for like a week.
Ok here's a good omens/Loki paralel from me, not the way you might expect though.
So Crowley calls heaven and hell 'toxic' and wants to leave the opressive system alltogether, while Aziraphale believes he can change it from within.
And (ok almost) everyone in fandom gets both side's reasoning and is very reflected and empathetic about it.
Now Sylvie calls the tva, which is an opressive, fascist institution, that flat out murders people, 'rotten' and wants to see it burned to the ground, while Loki believes he can use it as a valuable asset to beat Kang.
And still this scenario gets a completely different reaction.
at what points in worm/ward was victoria the most:
1. content
2. gleeful
3. self-confident
(hope u feel better soon!!)
Thank you bug. Still owe you for making my Antares Minecraft skin :’))
I think 1 & 3 both have the same answer of the epilogue. She’s out there rocking her scars not as a means of self harm but as recognizing the trauma she went through and experience she can use to teach others, she has the Fragile One as a teacher assistant, and she gets a new sister in the form of Sveta:
I think this is when she’s really at peace, which I’d describe as content and self-confident.
She retired, her story is over, and she has her loved ones by her side (or waiting for her in the after life).
For number 2, the most gleeful, that would have to be when she watches the Major Malfunctions catch their first supervillain:
Look at this absolute dork. Openly admitting to wanting to skip for joy.
She’s adorable.
It’s not really surprising she would later buy the the Majors cinnamon buns when they made the news lol
