Reposted from @freedom_faction - A group of parents in #Brooklyn are seeking a temporary restraining order to prevent mandatory #measlesvaccinations from taking effect. The parents’ lawsuit against the #NewYorkCity Department of Health called the emergency order “arbitrary and capricious” and the measures it necessitates “drastic.” The order, issued by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio last week, demands that all persons, starting at the age of 6 months old, who live, work or attend school within the specified zip codes of #Williamsburg, Brooklyn, be vaccinated. The parents who are suing argued “there is insufficient evidence of a measles epidemic or dangerous outbreak to justify” forced vaccinations and they accused the city of failing to take the least restrictive measures to end the outbreak. The suit was filed by five mothers on behalf of themselves and their minor children. They are listed as living in Williamsburg and #ClintonHill, parts of Brooklyn included in the #mandatoryvaccinations. In declaring a public health emergency, de Blasio called the measles “a very serious situation” and noted the “danger of this disease and how highly contagious it is.” The affected zip codes are heavily populated with Orthodox Jews and the mayor sought to get everyone vaccinated before people travel for the Passover, which begins Friday. “To make sure it is a good holiday we have to ensure that people are protected,” de Blasio said. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there have been 285 confirmed cases of measles in Brooklyn and Queens from October 2018 to April 8, 2019. The CDC states that most of the confirmed cases involved members of the Orthodox Jewish community and the first case stemmed from an #unvaccinated child getting infected while on a trip to Israel. The officers were at the home to remove the two-year-old boy, who had a temperature. The doctor feared that the child had #meningitis, when he actually had an upper respiratory infection. According to ABC 15, the naturopathic doctor told DCS that the child had not been vaccinated after his parents brought in him for a check-up in February with a fever of more than 100 degrees. The doctor then told the parents to take the child to the emergency room, but his fever broke after the doctor’s visit, so they never went. When the doctor found out that the parents never took the child to the emergency room, he called DCS. The officers were at the home to remove the two-year-old boy after a doctor reported his family to the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) DCS then called #Chandler police to check on the child. According to ABC, the boy’s father refused to let police inside the home. The officers returned a short time later with a search warrant and forced their way into the home after the family didn’t respond to their orders. State Representative Kelly Townsend, who helped get legislation passed that requires DCS to get a search warrant to remove children from their home in a non-emergency situation, condemned the incident. Repost from @freedom_faction #Florida lawmakers have introduced a new bill that will require all public school students to be vaccinated or face expulsion from class. #SB1558: School Health Immunizations, also known as the “Women’s Cancer Prevention Act”, revises child immunization requirements to include a vaccine for #humanpapillomavirus. Abcactionnews.com reports: “If we’re not given the choice to make our own health care decisions, then what are we given the choice to do,” asked parent England Davis. Davis tells ABC Action News, she is ready to uproot her daughter from school if she’s forced to get vaccinated for #HPV. “If that legislation passes, I won’t be able to keep her in public school,” said Davis. “I will not, I refuse, I will home school her out.” Public school students in Florida are already required to get vaccinations for #tetanus, #mumps, and other communicable diseases. “HPV causes six different types of cancer in both men and women,” said Dr. Anna Giuliano, a cancer epidemiologist with Moffitt Cancer Center Tampa. “The vaccine is very safe, the benefits far outweigh any of the side effects.” Dr. Giuliano says vaccinating more young people will help eliminate cervical cancer, the most common disease caused by HPV. “In my lifetime, we would see in the state of Florida almost no new cases of cervical cancer,” said Dr. Giuliano. Now, officials are going one step further and have ordered #mandatoryvaccinations for multiple #NewYork zip codes. Those who try to resist getting the shots will face charges. If you watch the news or read mainstream media, you would think that people are dropping dead left and right and tens of thousands of people have contracted measles. However, according to the Centers for Disease Control, there have only been 465 reported cases as of April 4. Nevertheless, government officials and media alike are whipping up #masshysteria and using that hysteria to remove your right to informed consent. “It’s a war zone,” said a doctor who said he had seen over a hundred patients who hadn’t been vaccinated but asked for anonymity for fear of jeopardizing his practices, according to a rather hysterical article in the Brainerd Dispatch. “I think the city is underestimating the scale of the outbreak.” “We cannot allow this dangerous disease to make a comeback here in New York City,” Mayor #BilldeBlasio said Tuesday. “We have to stop it now.” In New York, there have been 285 reported cases of measles since last September, mostly in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood. Of the 285 cases, 246 were in children. There have only been 21 people hospitalized for it. No one in the entire country has died from it. “This is the epicenter of a measles outbreak that is very, very troubling and must be dealt with immediately,” de Blasio said at a news conference. “The measles vaccine works. It is safe, it is effective, it is time-tested . . . The faster everyone heeds the order, the faster we can lift it.” The hysteria over this measles outbreak borderlines on insanity as measles is not even on the list of federally quarantinable diseases. Passage of the bill would significantly strengthen vaccine safety testing requirements and push back against any future federal #vaccinemandates. Sen. Bob Hall (R) introduced #SenateBill2350 (#SB2350) on March 8. The legislation would only permit a health care provider to administer a vaccine if all of the following criteria are met. • The study the U.S. #FoodandDrugAdministration (#FDA) relied upon for approval of the vaccine evaluated the vaccine against a placebo control group or against another vaccine or substance that the FDA approved based upon a placebo-controlled study; • The study relied upon by the FCA for approval of the vaccine evaluated the safety of the vaccine for a sufficient time to identify potential autoimmune, neurological, or chronic health conditions that may arise on or after a year from the vaccine being administered; • The vaccine has been evaluated for its potential to cause cancer, mutate genes, affect fertility, cause infertility and cause #autismspectrumdisorder; • The Texas Department of State Health Service has posted on its website disclosure of any known injuries or diseases caused by the vaccine and the rate at which the injuries or diseases have occurred; and • The chemical, pharmacological, therapeutic, and adverse effects of the vaccine and the rate of injury of the vaccine when administered with other vaccines, have been studied and verified. Effect on Federal Policy After recent comments by former FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb in February of 2019 just prior to his resignation, some believe that federal vaccine mandates are imminent.
