Was forced to take a few days off with bad ankle pain... Last did my 100 Burpees on Friday... Didn't want to take a break but the ankle issue plus sore back said otherwise!
Got 100 Burpees in today and though I am a little sore sore, I feel good to be back in the game!
I don't plan to make try to make them up because I had a legitimate injury... I might just extend this challenge 4 days into August (My Challenge My Rules)

This was me just 366 days ago. The photos at the bottom I weighed in at 318 lbs after a workout. The photos on top are me today give or take 30lbs lighter, 3 Pants sizes smaller and a hell of a lot stronger. This was one of my 3 past new years resolutions I made. Not to lose weight but to make a life style change I'm so freaking glad I did. No fancy dieting or amazingly complicated workout plans just portion control, meal planing, not skipping the gym (much) Consistsitancy and determination over intensity. Big thanks to @brixfitness @syattfitness for the fitness tips, stories and experience that I've learned massively from and @shettyjay @prince_ea @therock for the daily inspiration in helping keeping my mind straight. Let's talk moral licensing and how you sabotage your progress. 😮 👉🏾 Moral licensing occurs when you justify negative behaviors because you have consistently exhibited positive ones. ✔️ How does this relate to your weight loss journey? 👉🏾 It causes you to be inconsistently with your nutrition, exercise, and ultimately the healthy habits you're building. ✔️ A classic example of this is your weekend routine... On the weekends do you say, "I ate "good' all week so I deserve to eat 'cheat meals' all weekend." ❌ Now... there's a TON of issues with this statement. Starting with your mindset around "good" vs. "bad" food, but that's a post for another day. But back to today's point... ☝🏾 🌟 Let's try this instead: 🌟 1️⃣ Don't over-restrict your food all week. Make sure to leave room in your daily calories for snacks you enjoy and have a smaller portion. 2️⃣ Don't drop your calories too low. It's really hard to stick to and it's actually detrimental to female reproductive health. 3️⃣ Reframe your thinking. Yesterday was a break from push-ups but I took a break from it all and ended up doing no exercise... So I had to make up for the jumps I missed yesterday... Today was also the first day I had to break up my push-ups... One day I really need to see how many consecutive push-ups I can do at once... I guess after this challenge?!?!
