Here’s the bingo board I made Monday
(Wish I posted it before the direct)
I’m surprised how many I got, like I thought a new Kirby, Zelda spin off, and dk were stretches. But Im ecstatic about them (especially hyrule warriors as I loved age of calamity). NEW DK AND A 3D ONE AT THAT, absolutely incredible. Sakurai’s new game being revealed and it being air ride 2, awesome. GameCube NSO, great. Mario Kart World is almost everything I’ve ever wanted from a Mario kart like the ability to just explore and drive around (I hope that there’s a single player campaign hidden in there somewhere but I best not get my hopes up). Third party stuff was cool, a lot were more so confirmations rather than surprises. But congrats to the deltarune, Silksong, and from soft fans out there. That tech demo they’re charging for is laughably dumb and finally voice chat is integrated in to the system. Specs are great.
For the console price, eh was expecting it. But the game prices, jeez that’s a lot for a Mario kart even if it looks incredible and I really want to play it.

All in all, my opinion absolutely no one asked for is that it was a great direct with really strong reveals but I’m definitely in the boat that the games (especially mk) are too expensive. I’m a physical collector through and through and I’m even considering trying to get the bundle to at least save some money at this point.
