  Dark clouds littered the skies of the man-made city, accompanied by a light drizzle threatening to turn into a downpour at any moment. For Yona, it was weirdly nostalgic. It was raining during her very first arrival to this city. However, she never dreamed that she’d ever come back here. Memories of her experiences came back steadily, as if they were careful not to overwhelm her. When it came to navigating the city, it helped immensely. 

  Rushing along the sidewalk, she attempted to look among the various buildings for a moment of shelter. Up ahead, she spotted a figure underneath the overhead of an establishment. He sported a look she only imagined in fairy tales. A horn upon his forehead, pipe in hand and clothing akin to her own. Normally she would take caution, but he didn’t seem to be dangerous. Plus, she’s learned from the first few times that otherworldly appearances were never the deciding factor of one’s true personality.

  “Excuse me! I don’t mean to intrude in on your spot, but could you assist me?”

  “Do you know the closest place I could wait out the rain? It’s starting to get a little rough out here and I'd like to stay somewhat dry. If not... may I wait beside you? Just until it lightens up and I'll be on my way.”
