And here is a general overview of the mini console:
Relive the Thrills and Emotion from Back in the Day
Originally released in Japan in 1987 as the TurboGrafx-16 home console captivated gamers with its revolutionary graphics and sound, and still holds a special place in the hearts of fans today.
Now, at long last, the TurboGrafx-16 is making a comeback!
It’s set to return in the form of the TurboGrafx-16 mini, a new compact model that comes preloaded with a selection of popular titles!
A Compact Version of a Classic Design
A faithfully scaled-down version of the original TurboGrafx-16 design, right down to the smallest detail. Don’t worry, though–the controllers are still their original size, allowing for exactly the same gameplay experience!
Key Features
Save at any time with Quick Save! – The console features a Quick Save function that allows you to save at any point during a game. Save your progress and continue playing when it’s convenient for you!
Choose from various display modes! – Not only is the console ready to plug and play using the included HDMI cable, it also features different modes that let you choose how your games look, such as by replicating the scanlines on a CRT TV.

Simultaneous five-player gaming with a multitap! – By using a multitap to connect additional controllers, up to five people can play together simultaneously. (Multitap sold separately.)

My Console Setup 2019
My Console Setup 2019
This past year saw a flurry of tweaks and replacing of consoles and switches. Since I had posted about my console setup at the start of 2018 and 2016, I figured I should continue to note the changes. Notable is the increasing presence of optical drive emulators (ODE) and field programmable gate array (FPGA) consoles. Here goes. Core Grafx II with Super SD System 3 (SSD3)The Core Grafx was a…

One of the first things I did upon getting (mostly) settled into my new home was set up my Wii.
Why the Wii and not an older console, like my PC Engine Core Grafx II or my cherry-red Twin Famicom? The main reason, I’ve got to admit, is the Wii was the most easily accessible.
At any rate, I’m glad things worked out like they did, as setting up my Wii prompted me to boot up a few games I’ve owned for ages but barely or never played. Namco’s Tabemon (The Munchables in the West) is one example. Opoona, above, is another.
In fact, I’ve since put about nine hours into Opoona, a bizarre, fascinating and sometimes aggravating RPG that was first released back in 2007 (in Japan) and 2008 (elsewhere).
For impressions of the first chunk of that playthrough, read the latest post on my more traditional gaming blog, “A few thoughts on Opoona (Wii) now that I've finally played it for a couple of hours”

R-Type
New Adventure Island
Ninja Spirit
Ys Book I & II
Dungeon Explorer
Alien Crush
