talk about ordo if you want~ or like the nulls in general and their relationships with each other and other clones :3

Oh man where to start.

Ordo and Mereel are very near and dear to my heart, maybe I’ll start there. They’re close, right? And I see them as foiling each other in a lot of ways: Ordo is like a steady, straight line and Mereel is a squiggly line going erratically around him like a V-tach EKG. Mereel can hold it together better than the rest, and he’s always A-OK around Kal, but with Ordo he feels safe… not being okay.

I still don’t think Mereel allows himself to completely fall apart around anyone (INCLUDING HIMSELF). Ordo is the only exception. I think it’s still important to Mereel to seem “okay” even to the rest of the Nulls. (It’s totally unsaid that they all know none of them are truly “okay” but you get what I mean.) We had talked about when Mereel is really struggling he needs to let it all out somehow and like Ordo is the one who will both let him do that and also be there to reel him back in (see what I did there? Reel? ok done).

This is probably explained better narratively. Stay tuned??

Next up: Kom’rk. I’m taking his little-to-no screen time face and holding him in my hands. Here’s some headcanons:

- he spent a LOT of time alone out in the field hunting Grievous, and this was extremely difficult for him (and the Nulls and Kal)

- to cope, he as a very dark/dry sense of humor

- he spends a lot of time in cantinas and places where he can feel less alone, which is why he is included with Mereel when they talk about Corr’s “rich social education”

- just for fun I’m sprinkling in that he volunteered to do the big solo field mission so the other Nulls didn’t have to, love me some self sacrificing nonsense

I've once again done a combination of disney canon and legends fun for fun & profit. Tech (with memories of his past life) having to navigate a second go around and stepping into quite a lot of things. Emerie. the hunt for Ko Sai. Omega Squad. Clan Skirata. Their trainer Fordo. And of course, that wound of never getting his own closure from Crosshair. And missing Echo horribly.

Main pairings are polybatch, with highlights on crosstech & techo. side pairings are echo5, corr/mereel

Summary: Having shot the cords that connected him to the gondola wires on Eriadu, Tech had known the end was coming. But then it doesn't come. It doesn't come and he wakes up on Kamino, a place he'd witnessed the end of, during a battle that had been pivotal to his entire service during the Clone Wars— the Battle of Kamino. Navigating a past with only knowledge he lived through or studied, Tech is going to try his best to adapt all over again, and there are a lot of things he'd known that are no longer true, and a lot of thing's he'd not known that he now, somehow, has the chance to learn. I've been working on 3 different WIPs interchangeably and can't actually figure out which was the last one so have all 3 under the cut.

Mandokarla Aran AU:

All it does is make it harder for Mereel to take his eyes off of Commander Fox to focus on his primary objective. He’s supposed to be staying on as an impartial liaison, yet that’s twice now where he’s been distracted by the Marshal Commander going about regular tasks. 

The Time Travel Fix-It:

"Kriffing mir'sheb." and Fox thinks... he knows that voice. He knows that damn voice. He practically falls out of the bed when it registers, reaching for something, anything to be used as a damn weapon, going alert faster than Hound does when he sees a pack of massif puppies. There are trainers surrounding him, armour that he remembers seeing stalking through the halls of Kamino, but cleaner, well cared for. He bares his teeth when he spots the more familiar sounding voice. The Nulls have to be somewhere, he gets along with Mereel, Jaing and Corr just fine but if Ordo spots him he's getting his ass handed to him. Standing at the entrance to the medbay, blocking Fox's exit as he finally finds something to use as a weapon, a scalpel from a knocked over tray, stands Kal Skirata, younger than Fox remembers. His head of hair is more blond than grey, he has less wrinkles on his face.

Fox & His Shinies - Part 19:

That wouldn’t do. “Where do you think you’re going?” Alpha called out, watching as Tenacity stiffened. “I haven’t dismissed you.”  He heard the quiet ‘fuck’ that Tenacity let out under his breath, just barely, before he turned around and clasped his hands behind his back, lifting his chin in a perfect parade rest.
