trying to figure out the logistics of my ffxv vtm au is fun
#me: ok i want cor to have been mors' ghoul at a young age and then become sheriff and i want to keep him being 15 when hes ghouled but#i want him to look 45 by the time hes embraced and made sheriff. so he needs to stop being a ghoul for a bit and we're gonna mess with the#rules of that or w/e for story reasons so it works. but then hes a bruhja so who the fuck embraces him it cant be mors or regis (ventrue)#so maybe its mors' bruhja primogen???#so he serves mors as a ghoul for 30 years then gets unghouled for Reasons and ages to 45 quickly and then gets embraced and made#mors' sheriff? for however short a time that would be before that bastard meets final death#or alternatively: cor has been a ghoul for 30 years and then is sent to do Something involving regis (embraced at this point?) and mors die#and cor ages and regis is like actually i like this guy i like that he challenges what i do. and then he. has him embraced???? which seems#less like something regis would do but maybe they talk about it??#corrrrrr#we arent even GETTING into regis and clarus' whole deals here

🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?
Any scene where characters are pushing/exploring the line of will-we-won't-we is just emotional catnip for me. I'm also so fascinated by when, if ever, Harry and Draco switch from last names to first names.
😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?
I did intend for the chapter break in Bridges to be a little mean :). The good news is that you can just go straight to the next chapter.
More recently though, @corvuscrowned has been betaing something for me recently that I split into two documents--I left doc one on a bit of a cliffhanger and they messaged me being like "hey...is that...the ending...??"
