jeremy knocks twice politely before he backs his way into the throne room. he drags the unconscious body of a vampire katherine sent him to find by the ankles into the center of the room and drops its feet with a thud. 〝 your majesty. 〞 he grins once he's turned around, scrubbing his hands on his jeans. truly living up to his heritage, he might as well be a golden retriever.

Katherine was mostly thrown off by the knock. This is HELL who the fuck has MANNERS?? Not that she is complaining. She views it as a sign of respect. Respect she deserves.

it was entirely her fault, and alice could have dealt with it on her own if she'd had to. she'd been trying to put a stack of her old used canvases up on the highest shelf of her art supply book case. sure, alice could have asked jack, but he hadn't been home at the time. she'd known he'd be coming back soon enough, but that didn't stop her from trying to neaten up her space on her own. she'd gotten distracted and not only had the top three canvases slide off the shelf. the corner of one had managed to hit her on the cheek, cutting her just a few inches under her eye. it was a close call, but luckily jack came back just in time so she didn't have to deal with it on her own. he'd cleaned her cut and put a bandaid on her cheek. she couldn't help how much of a turn on it was for him to be taking care of her, leaning in so close to make sure she was okay.

she caught her lips in his, pulling him closer to her by the waistband. she'd been sitting on the kitchen counter so that she could be at eye level for him. that also meant she was in the perfect position to kiss him. he had been so tender with her, and now she kissed him just as tenderly.

There was quite the scene at the bar he'd had to call the cops after a drink was tossed in his face. As he was watching the police pull out the drunken old man he's using some paper towels to wipe off the front of his shirt and face. Still he flashes a charming smile as he walks up. "Sorry about that- testy regulars. I guess you get drinks and a show, huh? Alright bad first impression. I'm Henry I'm your bartender what can I get you?"

There's a look of disbelief at the other, almost mixed with confusion at the fact she would even ask that of him. No doubt SHIELD had a file on him, they knew his allegiance and where it lay. "I don't need help." He answers, knowing this wasn't the first time he's denied help or working with another before the end result had them working together. But that was different, they weren't dealing with soul suckers this time around. Working with his siblings was also different than working with SHIELD, that wasn't what Andrei or anyone in the Ten Rings did. "So you don't need to know and you can stay out of our way." Not the best way to handle this but then again he wasn't known as a diplomat. The Romanian was a general, the second in command, and that didn't change with the shift in leadership from his father to his sister. " Easier or not, never stop fighting. " SIMA SPOKE from experience when it came to fighting and succumbing. She'd been dealt her fair share of hardships over her aeons alive and her mother had never made it easy on her with all of the torture and pain that she'd bestowed upon the nephalem. There were times when Sima had succumbed. Times when she'd become a mere morsel of the woman that she often displayed to many around her. She'd been broken and beaten beyond measure and had been left with the traumas from it as a result.

Her traumas had left her with scars and with symptoms that sometimes, she was unable to hide. Her back burned along her spine as though the wound was still fresh more frequently than she admitted and her right wrist still tremored when the addict in her tried to reignite and want for that sweet demonic venom to cloud her judgments and leave her unthinking. She never wanted someone else to end up in a state that she had once been or still was. Having to rely on keeping busy at all times or ask another to take the control away from her and leave her unthinking so that her mind was not plaguing itself with thoughts from her mother's ingrained abuse.
