The blackout hit the small motel the second they walked into the lobby. From one second to another the small lobby-room consisting just of a registration desk, four ancient armchairs surrounding one tiny couchtable like a campfire and an TV in one corner so old it seemed to vibrate at every disorted noise coming out of it, were drenched into deep blackness. The only light came from the tank with the pair of scarlet eyes Kurapika was holding, the eyes shimmering barely noticeable like small pieces of cole in the blackness. "...not again." the receptionest groaned with such great suffering sounding in her voice, they sounded like one of the streetdogs outside of the street howling. Senritsu had to bite the inside of her cheek to not chuckle in all good humor- she did not wanted to make fun of the receptionist, but they sounded so utterly defeated that it was ridiculous. In the blackness hanging thick like a cloth in the small lobby-room the recptionist grabbed in a shelf behind themself, fished out a small candle and enlightened it with a lighter that suddenly dyed the small room around them in a warm, orange light. The light only painted a small circle around them, and anything beyond was nothing but grey shadows, barely seelable in the blackness. "Your room is down the corridor. Watch out, ther are still moving-boxes standing around. Have a nice stay." The receptionist, passing the candle to the short woman, explained this as calm as if she had said it a thausand times before and Senritsu smiled over the fact that she heard that they indeed had done so. Lowering her head with a quiet, melodic 'Thank you' Senritsu took the keys from the receptionist that tinkled like windchimes in the now that the old TV was black, almost silent Motel. The corridor was so black it even seemed to swallow the small light from the candle in Senritsus hand. Kurapika had not said much since they had gotten this pair of Scarlet Eyes and Senritsu as patiently as she was, would not ask him to explain himself, she did not needed to, she knew she could not for now.Everything going on inside him was clear enough, even without words, every swallowed word, every second of rage, every cold murderouse thought since he had been given the tank with the Scarlet Eyes by that bodypart-collector were as easily hearable to Senritsu as if they were her own. So for now all the woman wanted for the other was to make sure he had a good night of sleep in a proper, warm bed and maybe in the morning, maybe in the morning when this loud heartbeat had soothed, maybe in the morning when he had had a few hours of calm rest, maybe in the morning when they had had a little breakfast, maybe in the morning when they would continue to travel in the car back to Yorkshin, maybe in the morning when the injury that were the scarlet eyes in the tank was nolonger so open and raw, maybe than she would ask quietly and gently, if he wanted to talk.

"....mhm...", Senritsu gently reached out to lay a small hand on Kurapikas arm, tapping a melody against his sleeve as she walked beside him, her head tilted to the side like an attentive bird: "-be careful, there is something- a chest, I assume? Its not a table, its solid- standing low on the floor." Her quit warning echoed through the sticky air of the dark corridor, hit the low ceiling, hit the walls with the old wallpaper, hit the shelfs standing by the sides, hit the by curtains blackned windows along one wall, hit the different doors along the corridors walls. But it was not this echo that hit the chest. It was her foot. Senritsu squeaked like a little mouse in a mix of sudden pain and startle. Suddenly there was a surpressed huff when the woman miserably whimpering fell back on the floor as heavy as a sack of wet earth, holding her foot. "....I found the chest-", she sorely pressed out between clenched jaws pitifully, already reaching out for her foot with both her hands, using the vibration of her painfull huffing and quiet voice to lay her Aura on and ease the throbbing pain in her toes.
