plunging necklines, high slits & figure-hugging fabrics were usually featured quite heavily in cynthia’s wedding outfits. tasteful, while still managing to push the boundaries of acceptable attire just the tiniest bit. not tonight, though. tonight, the blonde had shimmied into a simple navy-blue sheath dress, the sleeves reaching to her elbows & the dress cutting off just below her knee. it was a nice dress, certainly. on anyone else, it might have been perfectly appropriate. however, for cyn ? tame would be over-selling her garb. with her bright blonde hair spilling in delicate waves over her shoulders, the usually conspicuous female practically blended in with the other attendees. “ i dunno. i guess i decided to turn over a new leaf ? get back to my roots & all that, ” she explained conversationally, reaching up to tenderly grasp the crucifix dangling from her neck.

even though sebastian and the romantics had crashed many times before, he still got a bit anxious before each crash. it was the kind of anxiety that he welcomed, though, the kind that put a light under his ass. he was wearing one of the few tuxedos he had and observing the reception. he loved watching the people at the weddings as they celebrated love and dance their cares away. he took a sip of the beer he got from the open bar and turned to someone, saying, “man, don’t you just love weddings? the kids are loving all of my magic tricks.”

“man, how long until this place turns into a real ass fuckin’ party?” it’s not like atticus to mutter under his breath but weddings like THIS really call for a certain decorum that doesn’t come easily to him. he barely spares a glance at the crasher beside him as he smooths out his dress shirt, hand slipping inside his jacket to touch the bag of pills he carries, reassuring himself that they’re still there. “y’think i can bribe the d.j. to put on some fuckin’ dance music or somethin’?”
