hi, hello, howdy ! veah here, holding it down in the eastern standard timezone ! i’m twenty-seven years old, and use the pronouns she/her. i’m super excited to get to write with you all and develop some really awesome characters together ! some fun tidbits about me: i’m a taurus, gryffindor, infp and my favorite dinosaur is the stegosaurus. also, i’m a huge harry potter nerd. anyway, enough about me ! let me tell ya about my bbygirl cynthia. if you’d like to plot with me, feel free to hit me up in the ims or on discord. 

did dove cameron just stumble into the wedding ? wait, never mind, that’s just cynthia hughes, the 21 year old libertine of the crashers. i heard she is a part of the romantics now. i guess it makes sense considering they are debonair, but also imprudent. let’s hope this competition doesn’t get in the way of her anthropology degree. rosary beads passed down through generations bookmarking a newly purchased anthropology textbook. cherry red lipstick stains on collared shirts, coffee cups and cigarette buds. numerous pairs of broken or bent reading glasses strewn about a messy, cluttered bedroom.

as i said in the ooc chat, all cyn really wants to do is have sex and talk about ancient mesopotamian culture. preferably in that order. 

her father is a famous christian televangelist, sorta like billy graham. her mother and five siblings all sorta fall in line with his teachings and and are like the perfect church-going, immaculate family. 

cynthia, however, is the black sheep of the family. she’s always questioned everything, much to the displeasure of her family. 

her grandmother mostly raised her, because her parents found her frustrating and unmanageable. after her grandmother passed when she was sixteen, she was shuffled around from relative to relative until she was eighteen.

at eighteen, she got a full sports scholarship to ucla. her sport is volleyball, and she plays in the position of libero. 

her major at ucla is anthropology, with her minor being in sociology.

having lived in savannah, georgia until she was sixteen, cyn has a pretty thick southern accent that gets more pronounced when she’s angry and/or drunk.

in her freshman year, drunk on freedom’s she’s never had before, she started to experiment with... well, everything. drugs, sex, alcohol... you name it, she tried it.

she’s settled down a bit since then, but still loves to do all of those things. now, she’s just a bit smarter about it.

most of her ‘acting out’/partying ways stems from a sort of... emptiness she feels.

she sorta has this numb, jaded feeling all the time, and parties just so she can actually feel something. 

cynthia is really worried that she’s incapable of being loved, and is terrified by the thought of loving someone herself. she both wants it and fears it. 

she’s not very emotionally close with anyone. again, she’s not very good at connecting with people. she has lots of friends, but really no one who she opens up to and is completely honest with.

born on june 11th, 1996 to thomas morrison and dinah roth, atticus has spent his entire life in california

he was born in sacramento and lived there for a year or two before his family moved to san jose!

he’s spent his life in san jose and has only moved from house to house---and even moreso when his parents got divorced

when he was in elementary school, he was the class clown: always trying to make people laugh, always trying to lighten the mood, to crack a joke

now, his parents may have loved each other at some point but atticus doesn’t remember a second of it. all he remembers is the way his mother grew colder every day, the way his father left the house every night and atticus sometimes didn’t see him until afternoon the next day

more than a few times, and before atticus could really understand what was happening, he saw his father around with a few other women. atticus didn’t know what it meant until years later, down the road and after the divorce.

the thing he remembers the most about the divorce is his father promising him two of everything. he’s 11 when he’s carted off to christmas with his mom and new years with his dad.

from then on, it’s an alternating thing, yet---he missed more and more holidays as time went on. his father went out and came back with cases of beer; his mother had double shifts every other time---

he had his first drink at 14, taking a sip from his dad’s open beer after he’s passed out and from then on, it’s downhill for atticus

by the time atticus is sixteen, he knows the drill. weekends with dad, weekdays with mom. no time for himself.

yet, somehow, atticus always found a way to be the fun kid in school. he was always popular, always attending parties and being the life of them. if there was a party at his school, he was in attendance, for sure. 

but of course, things are not always what they seem on the surface. his problem with drinking turned into problems with drugs, which brings him to today!

nowadays, he’s studying at UCLA and crashing weddings as a form of partying but with higher stakes.

you can call him kit, tuck, atty, ace, or really anything you can come up with that even remotely resembles his name. he’s not fussy!

as he’s grown up, he hasn’t changed much! he’s still acting silly, lightening the mood, being his charismatic self---and now just crashing weddings on top of all of it

there’s only a few moments in the day when kit isn’t on some kind of substance. marijuana’s his drug of choice most of the time, but trying to find kit without some illegal substance in his pocket is very low odds.

is pansexual! which means... he will flirt with anyone. everyone. he’s not really very picky about who he goes home with.

he’s studying communications because! he loves film and tv shows---shows especially. his favorite is a tie between black mirror and stranger things.

seriously, don’t get this dude started on storytelling and camera angles and everything. he won’t shut up

and yet?? when you ask him, he will say that he is not that smart. he thinks he’s really dumb. it’s kinda sad, actually. he won’t put any stock into his abilities other than his ability to talk himself out of anything and his ability to drink anyone under the table.

how to solve problems, a step by step with atticus

did froy gutierrez just stumble into the wedding ? wait, never mind, that’s just sebastian guerra, the 21 year old paladin of the crashers. i heard he is a part of the romantics now. i guess it makes sense considering they are nurturing, but also irresolute. let’s hope this competition doesn’t get in the way of his theatre degree. movie scripts, dreaming of something bigger, being the knight in shining armor, picking sunflowers, family dinners around the table, voice as sweet as honey, believing in signs, always having sunscreen, being the sunshine in everyone else’s life.

hi everyone! my name is diana, i am 22 years old, i live in the est timezone and i use she/hers pronouns! i am very excited to be playing sebastian and he’s honestly just a sunshiney boy who has my heart! below are some things about him/his backstory. tw for suicide & depression. like this post and i’ll come at you to plot!

sebastian was born on a rainy day but that didn’t dampen his spirits.

he was the oldest of six siblings and he was often the caretaker because his parents were always working.

he’s extremely family oriented and cares about his siblings more than he can explain.

he also considers the romantics his family so he’s really protective of them.

he’s really selfless, like selfless to a fault.

he started crashing weddings in order to swipe food for his family because his parents were always working so hard.

the first wedding he crashed was also the first wedding he had ever been to and he was kind of amazed by how extravagant the entire thing was.

he wanted to be a doctor when he was really little which would surprise no one who knew him because he’s always trying to help and heal people. he still carries this dream in the back of his pocket.

but when he was in high school, he fell in love with theatre. he was involved in the school’s theatre as well as community theatre. 

he was really talented and even scouted to go to ucla’s competitive drama program and this was the first time he thought about acting as a career instead of a hobby.

he was initially reluctant to go because ucla was two hours away from his family but his parents convinced him to go and follow his passion.

being at ucla was a dream come true but it was also tough, being away from his siblings so much, the siblings that he helped raise.

one day, during his spring semester, he got the worst phone call of his life. his mother called him screaming and crying about his younger brother, samuel who had taken his own life.

sebastian blamed himself for the death, his brother had been suffering from clinical depression since he left for college and while everyone told him it wasn’t his fault, he didn’t believe it.

he was always mad at himself for not seeing the signs when they facetimed or when he asked sammy how school was going.

he went back to ucla about a week later, still not completely processing the death.

he often takes on “broody” and “dark” roles when he acts but anyone who has met him will tell you that he is the exact opposite.

he’s the paladin of the group because he’s always trying to save people, whenever he sees someone struggling, he sees his younger brother in them, and something compels him to help them.

he’s a total mom/dad friend, always telling you to tie your shoe or wear a coat because it’s raining outside.

he’s on an impossible mission to heal the world, and make the world a more loving and thoughtful place. 

he has the heart of a healer, the mind of a lover, and the body of 20 something year old boy. bash will do everything in his power to help heal everyone but himself.
