I can’t give an exact time frame on when I’ll post the results, but I’d like to do three or four a day depending on my schedule and how many requests I receive.

These won’t be terribly complicated drawings and they’ll resemble my sketchier, gestural works (basically, my entire output). Something sweet, simple, and quick to get out. (Me when I lie)

You can expect them to look like the examples below: featuring concepts of my hastily thrown together sona Sevengill.

Before you send me an ask, I have a few guidelines:

^ One character per ask, and one ask per user.

^ Provide a reference image or a fairly detailed description of your character’s appearance.

^ Provide a brief summary of the character- who they are, what they do, their personality, their quirks, that sort of thing. You don’t have to be thorough. You can just give me vibes if that works for you.

^ What sort of expression and pose would you like them to have?

^ What sort of shape or motif does your character have? I like to try and put emphasis on form and shape when I create my WoF designs. Are they tall or short? Round or squarish? Soft or sharp? Small or large? Symmetrical or asymmetrical? Face shape? Eye shape? Age?

^ If you don’t have answers for the former (it’s okay if you don’t, those are just example questions anyway), are you okay with me taking my own artistic liberties?

^ And for the record, I will not draw any NSFW content, which includes gratuitous violence and/or gore. I’ll judge submissions by a case by case basis.

Alright, I think it's time for a master post listing all the various topics I will sporadically talk about on here. I will not have a set schedule, because I literally don't have time or the headspace for that, but I will tag everything appropriately so you'll be able to find the posts easily.

As soon as I have the time I will also modify the pinned post with all the links so this blog is easier to navigate from both pc and mobile.

Okay. First and foremost, I will keep posting Saint Seiya content.

However, I will be keeping the content focused on the classic series, the Hades Chapter, Soul of Gold, Lost Canvas, and the movies. I may eventually bring in more manga and Omega content, but for now this is the plan. First thing first I will remake all the "Honest Opinion" posts to update them properly. Unfortunately, while I could also have fun with the Awakening skins before, now the game doesn't work for me anymore so that's out of the question.

Second, I will definitely be posting about Genshin Impact.

Even though it's slowly starting to turn into a disappointing mess with all the gratuitous fanservice and catering it's doing recently (such a shame, tbh), Genshin has been my comfort game these past two years and I love delving into its lore. I will probably post a lot of scenery screenshots too, because I love creating albums just for that. I even started a series like that already on another platform.

Genshin will also include my OCs, but they will be tagged appropriately.

Third, there will be some Honkai Star Rail content.

I've been playing it since its release, and the lore is extremely enjoyable to me. I already had a basic understanding of Honkai Impact too when I started playing and I'm learning more as I go, so this game is really good for me in terms of story. I don't take a lot of pictures around this game, but I will definitely start making scenery albums too.

Fourth, I want to post a bit about Infinity Nikki.

I've been a player of Nikki games for years, starting out with Love Nikki and then moving to Shining Nikki as well, so this game holds a lot of significance for me. I love the story and scenery, the dress-up part of the game is exquisite, and taking photos is extremely fun. I may not talk a lot about the story and characters, but I will definitely post some pics often. I enjoy this game immensely.

I'm debating whether or not I should make some Love Nikki content as well, because I also found some of my old meme-y fanarts I used to make (the Love Nick that came to me in a dream will never leave my heart).

Fifth, I may try to make some content about Wuthering Waves, but... there could be more negativity than positivity there.

I was extremely interested in this game when it came out, immediately downloaded it and all, but... the story got quickly overshadowed by the massive amount of gratuitous fanservice and catering this game does. I'm debating whether or not I should do something about WuWa because I'm literally dropping it every other day due to the uncomfortable feeling it gives me, both during and after the main story. I do like the scenery and some of the characters, as well as some elements of the lore before it all turned into a giant ball of fanservice, so maybe I'll post that and refrain from commenting any further.

Lastly, I will probably make some occasional posts about other fandoms I like, for example Yu-Gi-Oh, everything related to Tolkien, and whatnot. But for the most part, this is the general list of things I am currently interested in. I may post some of my cosplays as well, because I did improve a lot since the last time I was here, but I'll see.

Are you an anti?

I'm not 100 % sure what the context for this is but I do have certain things I will not read or write and I don't believe fanfic is an "anything goes and no one can criticize or discuss it" kind of medium.

I also strongly believed that certain content should not be tolerated.

To make it clear where I stand on this: If the work you're creating is hate speech, racist or ableist propaganda, or could be considered a form of child pornography I don't think it should be tolerated at all or allowed on public platforms because fictive or not these works target vulnerable demographics and can perpetuate or further real world harm to those targets.

I don't care about anything else tbh, I might side eye you or be critical of why a certain toxic trope is popular or romanticized but the only hard line I actually draw is real harm. Especially because the works listed are usually created by the party in power. The people writing about underage characters for their own sexual gratification are almost always adults, the people writing hate speech are usually white, straight, cis and/or abled.

And I'm not saying you can't have characters who portray these qualities or that you can't write dark fiction that takes a serious look at these topics, I'm not even saying you can't write a horror story that ends badly for the victims that features these themes but I think it's ignorant and disingenuous to say that you don't know the difference between media that does that and someone writing a racist manifesto or depicting gratuitous and unapologetic abuse of vulnerable demographics.

Especially in content featuring minors the writer demographic is adults and the subject demographic is always going to be vulnerable and incapable of consent so the writer needs to be careful about how they handle the topic and consider to what extent they might be normalizing or romanticizing the harm they're depicting. The fact that the work is fiction doesn't actually matter because of the inherent dynamics at play in the real world between writer and subject.

What really gets me is that the people who cry "Anything goes! No censorship" are really quick to demand that nobody be able to criticize them or question the ethical ramifications of their work. They want to write shit like Mein Kampf 2.0 with an OC as their mouth piece so they can claim "it's not me, it's just a character I play!" won't tolerate anyone calling out why they shouldn't or pointing out that their ideas and depictions are harmful. They want to write anything they want without consequence or backlash and that is simply not reasonable for someone who's mindset when it comes to fiction is "everything is allowed because no censorship ever!" You don't get to claim anti censorship then censor your critics, that's not how that works.

Obviously at the end of the day I don't make the rules, I can't stop you if a platform allows you to post certain content but if you're allowed to write anything, no rules nor restrictions then I'm also allowed to write under that same premise and the subject of my writing will be to be heavily critical of certain subjects and even writers.

Re: last rb; to break it down a little more, ask blogs (obviously) center around getting a lot of interaction with their content. The entire point of ask blogs was to answer questions people had about the character(s) on the blog.

If the blog wasn't being mentioned or reblogged anywhere else, that means that, eventually, even if it somehow had a following, people would stop asking questions because they either lost interest or got all the answers they wanted. More engagement means new followers, which means new questions.

There was also another aspect to this though; shy followers meant that ask blogs with large followings may still have only been getting one or two questions. I remember when we ran our Pikachu ask blog we had about 200 followers, but we only got about 20 questions over the entire lifespan of the blog itself.

As someone who ran several ask blogs, there were sometimes long periods of time where people would not ask any questions, but needing engagement to survive, we had to go anon and send questions to ourselves to make it look like something was going on. Another solution a lot of blogs had was giving their ask blog a plotline, adding multiple characters or creating worldbuilding that didn't actually subtract from the character much. This encouraged more engagement by turning the character into more of an OC, or making it more obvious that this iteration of the ask blog leaned into certain things more (such as ships.)

This also led to a lot of gimmick ask blogs that were AU versions of specific characters from various media; such as the gratuitous Undertale ask blogs that were all AU versions of Sans/Papyrus.

I'm Bokettochild, aka Ketto, Mama Lava, and Flaming Idiot (or just Idiot)

I'm a writer/artist for the Linked Universe Fandom with a tendency to post flash fics and never keep up on my requests and/or updates, no matter how hard I try (blame my college and work)

My pronouns are she/her, but I'm okay with they/them if you forget (I'm terrible with keeping track of everyone's pronouns, so I get it)

The Ties that Bind AU

The Blood Between Us - The boys are all related and find out about it in a series of misadventures that leads threateningly closer to Warriors getting more drunk each time (fortunately, his brothers love him enough to help him). Includes Warriors as Wild's dad, some obligatory Time and Twilight, First King Sky, and appearances by Grandpa Wind and the Heroes Shade!

Pepper Me This - An in-between moment where the boys and Malon play a backwards version of Never Have I Ever and Legend has done everything. (CW for terrible accents)

The Face of My Father - (Continuation of TBBU) The boys (plus Ravio and Shade) end up traveling to Termina and discovering some long lost friends of Legend's. There are issues the boys need to work out from the previous stories, and I just keep making them worse. Also, the Fierce Deity is Sky's dad and Time accidentally releases both him and Majora from their masks.

All the Voices in My Head - Another in-between fic where Four and Legend bond about hearing voices and Four discovers new pronouns for themself (Gratuitous Four and Legend fluff)

Hylia's Love - (Continuation of TFOMF) The boys get transported to the time of the First Hero and meet Hylia, Link, and Orville, and have to help them fight Demise's army while also fighting among each other until tragedies start setting them straight and making them address their issues.

Next Part: Zvezda - Warriors' memories of his young son before Zvezda (Wild) was taken away. Will feature all of the other heroes making cameos at least once, if not more times (Four is a minish though, so I can only fit him in so much since Wars can't see him)

Feathered AU Prologue - The official prologue for the Au, as per Brownie herself and written by yours truly. All blood descendants of Hylia have wings, but Legend does not know this. We follow him in a quick overview of his life before LU as he hides himself from the world while also becoming a famous hero.

Wild Misconceptions - Wild notices Legend is different from the other heroes, and with the aid of the Scientific Method determines that Legend must be trans and honestly, it's more reasonable than the truth. (Not a mockery of trans people; please (politely) inform me of anything that may be misconstrued as transphobic, I'm as clueless as Wild)

Flight to My Heart - Legend tries to keep his wings and his (perceived) evil nature a secret from the other heroes, who are all intent on figuring out what's wrong with him and helping in their own ways. (Features Dad Sky, All-Knowing Four, Uncle Twilight, Tired Dad Warriors and best buddies/brothers Legend and Wind)

Let Me Be Your Wings - (Inspired by this beautiful art and this song) Hyrule and the Chain are invited to attend the birthday ball for Princess Zelda Aurora, Legend's grand-niece. While the vet and birthday girl share an airborne dance, Hyrule realizes that Dawn (who has lost her wings) is a bit jealous, and offers to be her wings so they can dance the same way. Hyrule/Dawn (This is about as shippy as I'm willing to get, and only because it was written for a dear friend)

The Fluffy Adventures of A Bunny Merchant

Cider and Cocoa - Legend and Ravio accidentally win each other's affections with hot drinks, both loving the other's recipe more than his own. The story follows Ravio's perspective through A Link Between Worlds, the War of Ages and into LU where he and Legend share with the heroes (platonic: not written as Ravioli)

Scarf - Ravio gives each of the heroes one of his scarves and fails to convince them that's a customer service thing

Bunny Snuggles - Legend is touch-starved and Ravio helps

Stings and Tickles - Ravio does not like bees but runs into them a lot, both while living with Legend and during the war. Legend, meanwhile, loves bees, and actually softens up a LOT around them (he also very ticklish and they take advantage of it)

Of Grammas and Apple Pies - Legend and Wild make pie together after Wars reveals he's never had a good pie in his life. In the meantime, the captain and the other heroes discover that Legend is a horrible grandson and doesn't keep in contact with any of his family other than his sister, so they try and fix it.

Tired Feet and (Usually) Nimble Fingers - After a long day, Legend will sometimes message Ravio's feet. Except on the days when his arthritis kicks in, then Ravio messages his hands.

Coughing Up A Lung - Sheerow worries because one of his boys is sick and the other is missing (also part of Whumptober 2021)

Oops, I Did It Again - Ravio is sick with a deadly fever so Legend locks the other heroes out of his house in the middle of winter and tends to his best friend as best he can (also part of Whumptober 2021)

Say Uncle - Legend reminisces about his uncle to the other heroes and accidentally reveals that it's the anniversary of the man's death (a bit sad, but mostly fluffy)

Dumplings - (Inspired by a memory from visiting my own extended family) Hyrule leads the younger heroes in cooking dinner once Ravio is feeling better from being sick. (References Whumptober 2021 fics)

A Hero Protects His Own - (Inspired by ryssbelle's amazing Divine Beast Sky comic) A cloaked being curses Sky during a battle, making him incapable of surviving in the light. To save his life, Twilight uses the shadow crystal to turn Sky into a bird after a switch that separates the heroes. The only way to end the curse is with the aid of the Master Sword, or so they believe, but its with Legend at the moment and no one knows where the vet is. The cloaked figure seems intent on catching him for some reason so it becomes a race to see how can get the sword and the vet first. (Deviates from the comic starting in Chapter 8)

Alright, here’s my list of recommended fics you super awesome humans. 

As I said in my other post, writers helping writers is awesome so I’m so happy to tell you some of the fics I’ve read that I love. Go show these amazing people some love for the time and effort they have put in to create wonderful fics. Any fics I mention have been read by me (multiple times with some), and I totally recommend them. 

I’m gonna do this in a few ways, first off, I’ll section Archive of Our Own separately to FanFic.net, just to make it easier for me to grab the links. Ao3 has a nifty little thing where you can see your reading history so I can grab them from there, with FF, I need to go through and find them, pray for me lololol.

I’ll also be separating the Boondock Saints ones and Daryl ones, just for your ease, if you're only interested in one and not the other. The Daryl ones are only on Archive, because I haven't really read any over on FF for some reason, don't ask me why, I just haven't.

They’re not in any particular order, just as I see them, I'll grab them.

These aren’t all the fics I’ve read, some of the ones I love have been deleted by the writer, which breaks my heart honestly, and some of them I just can't remember.

Archive of Our Own [Boondock Saints]

- One of Three 

I really like this one and you guys should really check it out.

Author Summary; She had cocooned herself, letting routine and safety run her life. After everything she knew it wasn't much of one, and because she decided to do the right thing her life's about to hit a tailspin in some of the worst and most fantastic ways.

This is a Murphy/OC/Connor story and it’s amazing.

- Boondock Saints OC Arc

This ones a little different because it's not set out like the usual fic. Its an arc and some bits have one chapter, one of arcs even has 36. They all follow the same storyline and it flows like a normal fic, the author has just chosen to post it this way, and it works.

Author summary; The story of one girl's first up close and personal encounter with one of the brothers on a late-night subway.The 1st story in my Boondock Saints OC story arc.

This is a Murphy/OC/Connor fic, and it's one of my favs honestly, I've read it all numerous times.

Chapters; I can't give you an exact number with the way it's set out, but as I said, one arc alone has 36, so there's plenty to sink your teeth into.

- Everybody Knows

I love this one, it's short and sweet.

Author summary; Everybody knows exactly what Marissa needs to do to get over her recent breakup. She's spent the last month in mourning and her friends are ready for her to move on...

- Saints Alive

I looooove this one!

Author summary; Skid is once again on her own and she has to find a new place. Luckily for her, she knows a friend who knows a guy who knows of a place for free. Downside is it's in the South side of Boston where crime is rather terrible. Of course, with two Irish brothers as new next door neighbors, what's the worst that could happen?

- Risk it all

I’m in love with this one, it’s really fucking good.

Author summary; Nolee moved to South Boston with a hope to escape her past and make a better life for herself. What she didn't plan on was the peculiar Murphy MacManus coming into picture and breaking down everything she thought she knew. As they attempt to bond, can she overcome her tainted old life and let down her walls? Especially with one extra problem: she's already pregnant.

Another one of my all time favs. I love the dynamics of the characters and how well the boys are written. There’s some serious humour thrown into the mix and I laughed out loud so many times when I read this one. You’ll also be pleased to know this author is on Tumblr, @risingphoenix761. If the username looks familiar, it's because I tag her in all of my shit and recently wrote her a BDS drabble for her birthday. She's an awesome human, so check her out :D

Author note; They were called to destroy evil, but crossing paths with a wayward soul meant compromise. And in compromising, the MacManus brothers get more than they bargained for. Connor/OC/Murphy (rated M for violence, language, and sexual content)

Author summary; "What do you two see in me that makes you want to try and fix me?" A new life in Boston meant giving up everything she had back home. That never meant that she had to give up her defenses at the same time. Rated M for language and (future) adult situations.

- A Saint, A Sinner

Now this one right here, I have probably read so many times I know it word for word, I’m not even kidding. This is very high on my list. The boys are written perfectly, I love every fucking thing about this one, and there's some very interesting hot and heavy shit along the way.  If you only read one fic of this list, it needs to be this one.

Author summary; Connor M./OC/Murphy M. BDS prequel/romance. What happens when you drink whisky with the boys? It's got it all: romance (as far as the boys can DO romance), fluff, hurt/comfort, plot, canon plus research. Rated for MacManus mouth, violence, & explicit three-way smut (no twincest). Note: The BDS belong solely to T. Duff

Chapters; Now it says 87, but the author has been reworking this fic so it's actually about 67 I think? I’m unsure, and the chapters are a little shorter than usual fics. It’s still amazing and a lot for you to immerse yourself in.

- Saints Angel

Another good one you need to check out.

Author summary; The Saints help to protect everyone in their city, but what if they had a protector of their own? In comes a woman, a hurt, young, lovely woman that was rescued by them, given a new life. To her, they are her boys and she will now do anything to protect them. She will become their Angel...forever to walk by their side...forever to watch over them.

I hadn't actually read this one before, but I came across it when searching for ones I had read, and I fucking loved it. Young Daryl is my jam and this was so well written and just a good read. It’s a young Daryl AU, so the rest of the twd characters are in it too, like Rick his best friend, Maggie the readers best friend etc. 

Author summary; After meeting Daryl on the way home from a party the reader hatches a plan to get him to like her. But if it isn't friends and well-meaning King County citizens that tell her to stay away from him than it's Daryl himself, who's trying to keep his own feelings from coming to the surface.

This one is a little different, this is a collection of works by the writer where they write not only about Daryl, but a lot of different characters Norman has played. As you can tell by the title, they’re all smut based, and well worth the read. It's also worth mentioning that the writer also has a tonne of other Daryl stories so make sure to head onto their profile to check everything else out, it would take too long to link them all here. Most of them are AU Daryl which I love and they're a really talented writer.

Okay I lied, this is the same author as above and the next one is too because it's a sequel to this, but they're my favs by this author, I love them. Author summary; -Abrasive. Yes, that description fit him perfectly. The guy smelled like trouble, and she knew he would get even more abrasive the longer she talked to him. Too bad she didn't care. -A pretty stranger that talked to him, knew his name and his place of work? In Daryl's book, that just couldn't be good news. AU - Daryl Dixon/OC, Explicit for language and sexual situations. Yes smut!

I know I keep saying I love the fics, but I do, clearly. This one though is another favourite of mine and you really need to read it. I love the dynamic between the OC and Daryl.

Author summary; Set between Seasons 2 and 3. Melissa Sheppard is alone in the ZA, but she was alone before the dead owned the earth. She prefers it that way. Boy, is she pissed when she gets back to her cabin to find it has been taken by strangers.

This is another I hadn't actually read until now when I was searching, I actually really loved it. It's full of smut and that's never a bad thing. It took me a couple of chapters to really get into it, but it's really worth the read.

Author summary; Daryl comes across Lucy (OC) in the woods and claims her for his own. The story begins during the Farmhouse era of the series.

Another one, just read it.

Author summary; After the Governor attacked the prison, the only person left in Daryl's shitstorm of a life was Judith. For Daryl, it's enough. Until he met her.

- Roommate

Holy shit, this fic is everything. It's AU pre-ZA and it's just the best. It's so good, I can't even put into words, very high on my list and it also has a sequel set in the ZA that’s 13 chapters long, please read it. If you like AU things, this is for you. The way they write Daryl in this, it's just gold. It’s also told in Daryl's POV which is just amazing.

Author summary; Several bodies are found in the area of a small town. In this town lives Daryl, the killer of all those people. The investigation goes on, the profile is made, and now the police and the FBI look for a specific type, a loner type, ... Daryl's type. He decides to find himself a roommate in an attempt to mislead the police. Let's see how that will turn out for him. AU pre-apocalypse horror story. Obviously very OOC Daryl.

Rated M for a good reason, violence, foul language, adult content... it's all there, consider yourself warned.

Okay, so this ones a little different. It's actually a Daryl/OC/Rick love triangle and I usually don't read Rick fics (loool that rhyme though) but this is a good fic.

Author summary; Thea Graham has lived in Alexandria for over a year and is happy being mostly invisible. This is what happens when she suddenly has the attention of two men.

- Running Wild

This story is number one on my list guys, this is right up there with His Walls. This is my number one fav Daryl fic of all time and I’ve read it so many fucking times it's unreal. This fic is life, it’s everything. If I could only read one fic over and over for the rest of my life, it would be this one.

Author summary; Four years have passed since their sanctuary at the prison fell at the hands of the Governor and the surviving members are now thriving at their new home just north of Atlanta. Out of the blue, late one afternoon, Daryl Dixon stumbles across someone they thought they'd lost long ago; a member of the Woodbury community that had returned with Rick to the prison.

Warning: This fic is quite a bit darker than my other ones. If you are looking for fluffy bunny, happy prancing unicorns and rainbow colored endings, this is not the story you are looking for.

I love this fucking story, ‘nough said.

Author summary; Her story isn't all that different from anyone else these days. The world went to shit, and the dead don't want to die. She's lost people. So has everyone else. Who she was before isn't who she is now. But there is one difference between Lena and every other survivor she's come across. She doesn't know who she was. And who she is? Well, she's still trying to figure that out.

During the mayhem of the early days of the apocalypse, a fateful smack on the head stole her memory. All she's ever known is the world she's living in now. But that doesn't mean she's adept at surviving it. Eventually, she ends up alone and near death's door. Till a man on a motorcycle chooses to save her life.

Now she has to decide if who she was is worth finding, or if she'll fight the hell that comes with what's forgotten and strive for something better with the one man in the world who can see past it all.

Yet another amazing fic!

Author summary; Daryl and Raven's world collide after a visit to Hilltop by the group from Alexandria. Raven's only love is her Black Stallion Obsidian and Daryl has been done with loving anything for a long time. He's had a lot of practice hardening his heart but the dark vixen is finding cracks in his armor. Will Raven be the one that will finally make Daryl feel again? Rated for sexual situations.

I fucking love this fic. This author has already made it on this list because she's so fucking good. Just go read all of her shit. Its AU Daryl, which by now you guys should probably be able to tell I love looool.

Author summary; Daryl calls a phone sex line. I know this is a trope that has been done before but I feel like I added my own spin on it. I hope you enjoy. I love Hinder, and I heard this song on the radio, so here we are.

How will they react when they meet each other again.

One of them has survived on a deep well of anger and pain, found a family, of sorts, and begun to try and put his past behind him and learn to let people in. The other has dropped the pretense she'd built up before the world went to shit and now she is as detached and self-reliant as he used to be. What happens when these two meet? Can two misshapes fit together and face the world as a better, stronger, complete whole? Can they find, in each other, a place to call home at last?

OH MY GOD THIS STORY GUYS. I love this one, really fucking love it. High on my list. It's got a little bit of Negan/OC in there, but who doesn't love a bit of Negan? I certainly fucking do lololol It’s mainly Daryl/OC though, so even if Negan isn't your jam, I would really recommend reading this.

Author summary; She fought and killed to survive but she lived for revenge. Valentine waits for the right moment to kill the man who murdered her family. Can she do what needs to be done to escape the Sanctuary that is her prison? Can she accept the helping hand from strangers to do it? Can she live with all she lost? TWD world, non canon timeline.

Author summary; Daryl is the last of his species, in a world that has just turned stranger and stranger since the day his brother turned him.

He's living as normal a life as you can on your own in the woods surrounded by Walkers... until Evie shows up, and threatens to bring all his instincts right back to the surface.

If you're after a badass OC, this is the story for you. It's so good.

Author summary; Having lost her entire group, Lena finds herself alone in a crumbling world watched through darkened eyes. She is courageous, savage and uncomplicated. Her only companions being an obedient horse and two pet Walkers. When she finds herself outside a prison, inside the walls she finds a group of survivors capable of giving her a glimmer of hope.

What's this? Yet another good story? Why yes, it is. 

Author summary; Anamika has been alone from the start of the apocalypse and she likes it that way. Groups meant vulnerability, which meant death and Anamika wanted to survive. However, circumstances change and when she agrees to give Alexandria a chance, she finds that she just might not have met the right sort of people before, in particular a dirty, gruff redneck with a hidden heart of gold.

I thought I’d throw this one at you, why’s it a bonus fic you ask? Its a Negan fic, not Daryl, but what the fuck, have it anyway, its really fucking good loooool I fucking love Negan man, I’ve thought about writing him so many times :’)

Author summary; When Blake finds herself sold out to the Saviours by her abusive fiancé, she realises that she's certainly not on her own anymore and finds an unlikely friend in Negan. And Negan does NOT like men who beat their girlfriends, one tiny bit….

That nifty history thing on Ao3 I mentioned, for some reason, quite a few weren’t there and I had to go through the fics to find them. Not every single one is on the list, that would take me fucking forever to do, but these are the best ones I've read.

On that note, I want to just say something.

I’m an avid reader of fics, and as you know if you're here, a writer. So let me just take a quick minute to tell you how much writers appreciate feedback on their fics. 

We write for free, we gain no money from what we do, using our spare time and take painstaking hours to not only write fics, but edit, make them perfect and get them out to you. Every like/kudos, or comment/reblog, it means the fucking world to us.

I reply to every comment I get, every time someone likes my shit or comments, it makes my fucking day. Because it reassures me I’m doing good.

I have my days where I think I'm a shit writer and that no one would care if I gave up, and then someone will comment, even something simple like’ this was good’, and it fills me with so much fucking joy.

Wow is this incredibly frustrating.

So I restarted Wasteland 2 because why not, I never really got too far in and I'd like to give it another go.

In order to make things a little more fun I invented 4 characters and gave them all biographies that read more like mini-interviews with the Ranger HQ. It was really fun and let me make a few new OCs of sorts for this.

ONLY TO FIND OUT THERE IS A BUG THAT DOESN'T LET YOU SCROLL THE BIO.

So I spent all that time inventing them and I planned on showing them off for fun and I can't scroll their bios to demonstrate any of that.

SO I GUESS I HAVE TO GIVE THE SHORTHAND OF THE FUN LITTLE CONVERSATIONS I WROTE.

Oh, and I have no clue what kind of content this will be for the blog. Leaning towards NOT a full playthrough just because my first attempt was extremely messy and this game, while being incredibly interesting to me, has some of the smallest most headache inducing font out there for my terrible terrible eyes. So playing through the whole game doesn't feel likely.

Playing long enough to get some fun little stories, that sounds more likely.

(It appears to hinder his eyesight and general perception. How he has managed to talk his way into the Rangers is a mystery.)

Greg commissioned his portrait and demanded that a few 'artistic liberties' were taken when presenting his 'strength' and 'kickass helmet'.

Greg now, astonishingly, leads his own group of Rangers despite his poor eyesight and general delusions in regards to his own capabilities in, and out, of combat.

My heartfelt regards to the families of all those who's lives lie in Greg's hands.

I envision Greg as a total buffoon with a golden tongue. I attempted to reflect this by making downright terrible at fighting but booksmart and persuasive. Also he has a very, very dumb helmet and dresses as if he doesn't know the apocalypse happened.

"I really don't understand who I pissed off to end up on this mess of a 'team'. Our lead regularly walks into walls, our heavy is insane, the Rookie is practically still in diapers, and then you have me.

I'm the best damn shot the Rangers have, and you throw me to the failures, the 'DQ' crew, what is this shit." - Sabaa

"Sabaa, I must reiterate that there are no 'Die Quietly' squads. Every Ranger has earned the title and their lives are all equally important to us.

We don't appreciate the insinuation that HQ 'removes' unwanted Rangers by mishandling their deployment.

I also feel the need to point out that while you did break the previous record in our Marksmanship course, you did so very unconventionally.

Refusing to use the provided rifle and instead brandishing an unregistered chain gun to, and I quote, 'PRECISELY tear these dummies a new asshole', doesn't line up with what we consider Marksmanship.

While it is true you struck each target in record time, you were not demonstrating Marksmanship, but instead a sort of 'spray and pray' method." - HQ

"Whatever gets the job done, so like I said, I'm the BEST Marksman you all have and you throw me to the wolves?" - Sabaa

"I think you'll find this new team offer a similar...gusto for getting the job done as you do, and that while they might not showcase the same...excitement or gratuitousness as you do, they surely offer certain strengths. You are assigned to this squad because we are certain you will work well together. Definitely not to get rid of you all in a firey explosion created from your own failures. I mean, how would a, uh, Marksman, such as yourself, even accomplish that? You'd have to be a terrible shot to fail with this squad." -HQ

I wish I had the original text for each of these. Sure the dialogue was squeezed because I typed it all with the darn PS4 controller, but I liked what I had going. Greg was the experimental bio, so his is less interesting than the rest but it offered me a framework to make flawed characters that I continued with here. Sabaa is a crack shot, she just likes peppering the entire battlefield with each and every 'crack shot' she takes. This is also when I decided that it wasn't entirely Greg's persuasion that got him a leadership position. HQ has given up on all of these dysfunctional idiots so it smashed them together for failure.

Dove is the smallest member of our team and she's all muscle and no brains. She's almost definitely an institutionalized psycho raider of some sort whom they've given up on fixing beyond what they already accomplished.

Oh well. The original writing was better despite it's clustered feel thanks to typing with a controller, but I got the gist out there.

I made 4 characters. As far as gameplay is concerned I tried to base it off a short tips list I read with the flaws I had intended for the characters, mostly.

Greg is the leader and healer. I twisted this a bit by, again, making him pretty garbage in a fight to start with (though I'll likely move him to energy weapons or something later) while also making him extremely persuasive, a smartass, and our computer guy.

Sabaa is our "SNIPER" (cough, Heavy gunner) who fills in as our lockpicker,safe cracker, and outdoorsman.

Dove is our tank. She's buff as heck, has toaster repair which I hear is actually a good skill (strange), and she fulfills weaponsmithing and brute forcing for us.

Ricky is our basic as can be dude. Demolition, alarm disarming, perception, and handguns are what he's here for.

And they all fail or bother the management of the Rangers enough to be sent off to die “heroically”.

Hi, this isn't really an ask (okay, it's not) I just wanted to say that I love your writing. Especially the totally unashamedly hurt-comfort Dean Ambrose/OC stories. I write too (not a plug, just saying) but I love reading people whose style is different from mine. 32. Do you listen to music when you write or does music inspire you? If so, which band or genre of music does it for you? Depends!! Sometimes music really confuses my brain and makes me unable to think of words, especially if it’s really word-heavy music (which is most of what I listen to). If I’m really struggling, it usually helps to do it in silence so I can focus. But otherwise, I used to make little playlists of instrumental music to listen to, or play premade playlists of like study music or something.

33. Do you write oneshots, multi-chapter fics or huuuuuge epics? I really like writing huuuuge epics/multi-chapters but I’m really bad at finishing things ;--; so most of what gets published are requested one-shots/ficlets (one of which was requested the other day and I’M STILL T R Y I N G I SWEAR)

35. Do you write drabbles? If so, what do you normally write them about? Uh I guess? But I’m not particularly stuck to the “required word count” for the different vocab. I usually only write really short things when people request stuff haha. But it’s kinda fun~

36. What’s your favourite genre to write? Probably just straight angst. Angst that develops character, specifically, but angst nonetheless.

37. First person or third person - what do you write in and why? Third person. I used to write in first person and for some reason it always seems less?? effective/neat to me? Plus I write very colloquially and I find it easier to do when I can write in third person.

38. Do you use established canon characters or do you create OCs? Usually canon characters, but if it’s something like Total Drama that depends on constantly changing casts of characters, I’ve definitely made some of my own characters.

I think AO3 is the best for posting fics and keeping track of them. But more people usually see it if I post it on my tumblr. So a mixture of those two?

48. Do you leave reviews when you read fanfiction? Why/Why not? For the longest time I didn’t because I had major anxiety!!! I was too nervous to leave a comment, no matter what. Plus, I didn’t really make accounts on either ffn or ao3 so I couldn’t have if I wanted to. But now I like leaving tags and stuff on people’s works on tumblr and (if I read more fic) I would leave comments, just because I want people to know they’re doing good work!!

49. Do you care if people comment/reblog your writing? Why/why not? Yeah, I mean, of course! I love seeing comments on all my work, art, writing, or otherwise! It’s just nice to know that someone liked something I made, especially if it’s something I’m self-conscious about like I am with writing. Dear Creator (PurimGifts 2020)

Hello designated gift giver. This year, @copperscales​​ and I have signed up as a unit for gift giving and receiving. Robin and I have been great friends ever since we bonded over our shared taste in media over 15 years ago, and we continue to have very similar tastes, so whatever gift you make from our requested fandoms is very very likely to be a perfect gift for us both.

The only thing we have different tastes in is jewish content: Muggle is jewish and loves it all. Robin isn’t jewish, and has some knowledge, and is interested in jewish content, but may need more explanation of traditions for things as “obscure” as even sukkot. If you can, with plot-relevant jewish content, try to include an audience-stand-in goyische character to hear an explanation or overview.

Our DNWs: No rape/noncon/dubcon. No misogynistic or queerphobic slurs. (minimal misogyny/queerphobia in general please) If relationships are unhealthy, let the characters admit it, at least in the privacy of their own minds (ie don’t glorify it as “good romance”). Minimize gratuitous violence, and if it must happen, focus more on character reactions than descriptions of gore. No Undertale genocide run.

Anyway, it’s always fun to have some slightly more specific prompts to work from. Here’s some ideas of things we’d enjoy for each of the requested fandoms. (below the cut because Long)

Queer rep, in any form, in any fandom is great. Especially aro and ace rep, since we’re both within those categories, but cute romance is also generally acceptable, especially femslash. Or characters being explicitly bi, or trans girls living their lives with minimal bigotry, or healthy polyamory (especially if it’s a web of pairwise relationships rather than poly-fi like an OT6)... (trans boys probably won’t qualify unless they’re jewish, but we’d be happy to see them too) Really just all queer rep is good.

Outsider perspectives are another thing we both love (characters that don’t know everything the canon protagonists know drawing close-but-not-quite conclusions is excellent comedy potential)

Harry Potter content is always a winner, especially if you explore characters like Hermione, Luna, or Ginny. Show us their friendships, with each other, or with other girls, or Ginny’s relationship with her brothers. Luna/Ginny is an adorable ship too. (Prefer original series fic over Fantastic Beasts or Cursed Child fic). JKR is a terf, but Hogwarts is trans-affirming. Queer rep is especially good in this fandom.

Animorphs: the series that started our friendship <3. We would love to see queer content depicting the original six animorphs (do Tobias or Marco have a crush on Jake, for example? Pan Rachel? Is one of them trans? We’d love to see it). AUs in which Tom gets free, or Marco’s mom gets free sooner, are also good. Alternately, we’d love to see explorations of alien culture. Since the Berensons are jewish, Muggle would love to see Jake thinking Tom’s name during Mi Sheberach (on the rare occasions they actually go to services), knowing he can’t say it aloud. If you can slip that into a fic with some of our shared interests, Muggle would be thrilled.

For Dragonriders of Pern, we primarily love the setting. Canon characters are fine, but OCs are also great. Some ideas: Sorka’s children trying to live up to her legacy. The generation that sees the fading use of old tech and the rise of traditional artisans. Muggle is considering writing a fic about a trans girl impressing gold as a gender affirming experience, but if you also write something in that vein, we’ll be thrilled: two cakes are better than one. Or include jewish characters and an exploration of how the traditions have adapted to a new planet: are the holidays aligned with the seasons the same way they are on earth or are they trying to maintain an earth-centric historic hebrew calendar? if it’s adapted for the new planet, which moon is full for Sukkot and other mid-month holidays? Also we just love worldbuilding in general. Please ignore Anne’s weird restrictions on which dragons impress which human based on sexuality. There could totally be a lesbian queenrider, ace dragonriders at all, a straight male greenrider.... (and dragons mating with each other just means their riders are the horniest people in the room not that their riders automatically pair up with each other, please and thank you.)

Undertale: anything goes but please depict neutral/pacifist runs. Alphys/Undyne as a ship (or their friendship pre-canon) is always a good option. Jewish Frisk and/or Chara is wonderful too.

AtLA: We’d love to see Katara without a focus on Aang. Perhaps a focus on Katara’s relationship with her mother? Other good characters are Toph (fave) and Mai and Ty Lee

LoK: Korrasami is such a cute pairing

Belgariad/Mallorean and prequels: Polgara, especially fluff depicting her relationship with her mother (Poledra) or her sister (Beldaran)

MCU: Jewish Bucky and/or Steve. (Steve as a golem?) We prefer fic in the style of 2012 MCU fandom (in which Age of Ultron and Civil War hadn’t happened yet, and the team just lives together in Avengers Tower and goes on wacky day-saving adventures, but feel free to include newer characters because canon compliant isn’t something we care about). Shuri being a wonderful little sister, and a badass person in general is also great content.

ItSV: show us the history between May and Liv. Or Rio being maternal towards the new Spider Man even if she doesn’t know exactly why (alternately, Rio recognizing him immediately because she recognizes the way he carries himself, and the way he talks when he’s trying to sound older than he is. She calls it a mother’s instincts). Or, since the Peters are all jewish (at least Peter B but presumably all of them) and there’s no reason the Davis-Morales family can’t also be jewish, give us post reveal holiday celebrations with Miles’ family and RIPeter’s Aunt May.

Good Omens: Depictions of the ineffable husbands as jewish. Genderfluid or femme-presenting Crowley. Jewish Newt Pulsifer. Agnes Nutter doing things besides writing her books, especially other modern anachronistic things as well as jogging for exercise.

WTNV: We would love to see Cecil introducing Carlos to jewish holidays, and general canon-typical weirdness. Feel free to include things from the books but we have no particular familiarity with them.

Star Wars: Original Trilogy era Leia (pre, mid, or post canon are all good). Or write something Shmi Skywalker-centric. Or Jewish Organa-Solo family content

Lilo and Stitch: Sisterly fluff is very good in this fandom too (and all fandoms with sisters). Feel free to bring in other Experiments from the tv series.

Old Kingdom: Sabriel & Lirael mentorship?  Worldbuilding is also great for this series. Feel free to explore the history of the Old Kingdom. What did the border look like before the Wall was built? What sorts of nasty creatures explored near or across the border at the time. What was the final straw that led to the Wall being built?

Firefly/Serenity: Give us content of the girls. Examples: Inara & Kaylee friendship or mentorship, Kaylee & River friendship, any of them on their own. Optionally also jewish. What does shabbat look like in space? Maybe show us one of the rare things that River struggles with.

Again, these are all just suggestions (besides the DNWs). We’re looking forward to seeing what you create! Thanks in advance!
