i've  been  lazy  with  writing  the  past  few  days  ,    and  sorry  about  that  !!!  early  this  week  i  hope  to  get  writing  juices  back  .  i  won't  lie  and  say  i  haven't  been  a  bit  disheartened  the  past  week  or  so  since  it  feels  like 

my  entire  dash  is  bg3    (  which  is  a  good  game  )    and  it  feels  like  geralt  is  just  a  passing  fad  in  the  fantasy  genre  that  people  have  moved  on  from interacting with  in  favour  of  muses  from  a  different  game ( listen i wanna interact w bg3 muses too please )  .   i  know  it's  just  popular  right  now  ,    but  i  feel  i  have  been  having  less  conversations  too  ,    which  has  of  course  dipped  my  desire  to  respond  to  anything  .  in  addition  ,    i  am  also  in  my  'one  week  until  starfield'  phase  which  is  starting  to  get  me  excited  and  all  i  wanna  do  is  wait  for  it  .  i've  been  talking  geralt  starfield  aus  already  w  a  friend  so  i'm  very  excited  about  that  .

regardless  ,    i  apologise  for  some  of  the  negativity  and  hope  everyone  is  having  fun  !!!  crossing  my  fingers  i  get  a  little  more  muse  soon  .  i  have  some  drafts  done  ,    i've  just  been  too  lazy  to  format  them  .

I’m really enjoying the trektober challenge if you haven’t noticed. There isn’t much of a romantic subplot in this, though I guess there doesn’t really need to be. However, how could anyone work with Jim Kirk and not fall a little in love with him?? Right?? I hope you guys enjoy this little retrospection into what it feels like to be captain!

Jim’s words still echoed in your head even as you lowered yourself into the captain’s chair: it’d been a shout of your name, and the ever dreaded, “Take the conn.” And then he disappeared, off to traipse across the surface of world unknown to the Federation.

You gripped the arms of the chair and swallowed, half cursing the day you donned command gold.

Chekov glanced back at you, offering you a half smile. “They will be okay,” he reassured you, his thick accent comforting, repeating the same words he had been saying for the past two hours.

You found the energy to smile back. Glancing around the bridge, you found yourself sinking further back into the chair, going so far as to even draw a foot onto the edge and hug your knee. With a twist to the left, you could see one of the navigators, as well as the chair Spock normally occupied. To the right, you could see the other navigator and Uhura at her post. She flashed you a reassuring grin. You righted the chair, staring down at the curving post currently manned alone by Chekov.

And stretching out before you was the most glorious starfield you had ever seen.

The stress of being the captain might have been great – hell, you thought you’d have to make a trip down to the Med Bay once Kirk returned to make sure your racing heart didn’t cause any damage – but there were a lot of perks to it.

Your fingers relaxed around the arm of the chair.

Behind you, the door to the bridge whooshed open, followed by a very excited chirp of, “Captain on the bridge.”

You whipped the chair around to meet Jim’s gaze. He was a little singed, a little dirty, but he grinned at the sight of your smile.

“Thank the stars you’re back,” you said as you stood. He opened his arms, ready for the familiar embrace you often greeted him with upon his return. You grabbed his arm and yanked him towards the chair. “You took everyone else ahead of me in leadership with you, I am not hugging you,” you chided, “I hate that seat.”

Jim fell into the captain’s chair with a dramatic gasp and a chuckle. “We’re fine,” he said with dazzling smile.

“Good,” you replied, crossing your arms. “Next time you give me the conn is gonna be the last, because I’ll be having a heart attack from the stress!” You shook your head. “Please, don’t do that again!”

His smile was teasing, but gentle, and he whispered, “No promises,” as he pried one of your hands from the crook of your elbow and planted a kiss across your knuckles. If only your post wasn’t just a few steps away, within arm’s reach of Uhura, you would have stormed off the bridge. Instead, you clicked your tongue against your teeth and gave his head a gentle shove.

“Jerk,” you whispered.

He turned the captain’s chair forward with an entertained chuckle.

You rubbed your chest as you sat in front of your console, staring at the hundreds of lines of data before you, and felt the weight of the Enterprise lift from your shoulders. You threw another glance back at Jim, who lounged back in his seat and listened to McCoy rant about a physical.

Crossing Starfields is getting a soft reboot in the near future!! Removing everything that was an input from you-know-who and reworking some stuff I didn't like in the previous posts about this.

First things first: Amara will be replaced with a new character and concept. Luckily I already had a design somewhat planned on accident XD + some random doodles

This is Amber! She's a robot made by White to keep an eye on Nova, independent of the White Empire.

Since White is somewhat teaching and evaluating Nova on how good he is at the whole "taking over the world" job, he decides to make a robot to keep an eye on Nova and report back to White his progress. She's White's version of a badnik - a whitenick, the first of her kind.

Have Neut's baby pictures!! These were the first two designs ever done for Blank as he became Neut. In his beta design he didn't even get that much of a Neo look! But then he got his mire iconic 3 quilled look :)

Some concepts for Nova and Blank's relationship dynamic and designs. Also a IDW comic panel redraw to get Blank's look a bit more accurately

First more clean look of the uniform White gave Nova so he could walk around the White Empire with styyyyle ✨️ or at least White's idea of "style" lmao
