Author Note: This a story I've been working on; it's my other favorite interest. XD. This is a Danny Phantom X Star Trek crossover. It was initially inspired by a Tumblr post/prompt. (I've lost the example prompt, I'm really bad at tagging) About Danny making a wish and another prompt on how Danny's vitals would be weird if scanned by Dr. Mccoy or medical at all. This got me thinking about how hard it would be for Danny if he tried to hide what he is. Which led to the creation of this story.

Summary:

Danny makes a big mistake. He utters the words, “ I wish I could go on a space adventure.” His wish is granted. Now he’s stuck in the far future. He does the only thing he can do. He joins Starfleet.

ROAD TO BAD BLOOD: TEAM STAR WARS VS TEAM STAR TREK - THE WAGER MATCH

Previously, the score in the ongoing Team Star Wars vs. Team Star Trek feud is 2-1:

1) Current ABW World Tag Team Champions Anakin and Obi-Wan (Star Wars) defended their belts against Hikaru Sulu and Bones McCoy (Star Trek) at Clash in the Castle

2) Team Star Wars defeated Team Star Trek in a Star WarGames match at Money in the Bank

3) Spock (Star Trek) defeated Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars) at Summerslam

With neither side willing to deescalate, both teams were headed to another confrontation, this time at the upcoming event Bad Blood. This time, Captain Kirk (Trek) himself will be stepping into the ring. Kirk issues a challenge to anyone from Team Star Wars. Surprisingly enough, it’s Luke Skywalker (Wars) who accepts the challenge.

strange new worlds 2x04 was very good (as is all of snw) but i must admit. i was a little bit bummed about the title. like yes TECHNICALLY it is a lotus-eaters plot but where is the LONGING! where are the DEEPEST DESIRES!

okay as i say that i remember that this episode was like, fully about the philosophy of whether it's easier to forget your past (and live in a "paradise" of emptiness) or live with it (and have a life full of pain) which like. genuinely is the goddamn lotus-eaters plot. like that's what the whole issue of a lotus-eaters plot is. okay i think i have to give them this one but i'm still bummed about the lack of fantasy scenarios

#i think maybe they skipped those because pike has Notably Already encountered a planet that showed him his deepest desires #but idk i think it would be fun to explore from a modern perspective #sb and l rambles #sb and l watches st #star trek #snw #st spoilers #god there was so much that was excellent about this episode though #the female friendships were excellent. everything about ortegas was excellent. spock even had a learning moment!#i am EXTREMELY excited about the ld crossover though. idk when that's coming up #but it will be SO MUCH FUN #(hoping and praying that we get a kirk mention [or something about the tos crew] but i'm not gonna hold my breath)
