I just feel like they would have a good dynamic, one doesn't believe in Cryptids (Now they have Monty but seeing one Gator monster might not convince them to believe in ghost and doppelgangers) but they both want to protect the innocent. I think it would be a cute meet up, I can see them sitting next to the trailer CH!Y/n sharing their experience and knowledge about the Cryptids Player!Y/n happily listening, even tho it's a little morbid, they are happy to get to know more about Monty. Plus they can finally gosspi with someone about their cute Deamon boyfriend and his little quirks,

Oh, absolutely, Monty's Y/N isn't won over to believing in ghosts and goblins of the night just because of one (1) demonic cryptid they met. The two Y/Ns would get along! Eclipse's Y/N is easygoing and kind so there's no reason for Monty's Y/N to ever find a reason to get angry, and they have a lot in common aside from their stark difference in superstitions.

That's the perfect meme for Eclipse and Monty! Monty would rib Eclipse for having a human they're attached to while Monty gets the LookTM from Eclipse about who this human is that he's dragged out of the swamp without eating. Regardless, they're both very committed to their special little guy.

Design + small backstory for River in the au I talked about in this post!

Backstory: River, a 23 year old cryptozoologist(someone who studies cryptids and monsters, look it up) is down on their luck and probably gonna end up homeless soon. Trying to prove the existence of things almost no one believes in doesn't pay very well and their starting to lose faith in their work when suddenly they get a call from their frienemy/somewhat rival Ramona.

Basically some super rich British woman has been hearing strange noises and seeing weird things behind her house, and is willing to pay River and Ramona greatly as long as they find out what it is. Doesn't have to even be some monster or cryptod, all they gotta do is figure out what's happening and they'll get the money.

River agrees, mostly because they desperately need the money and the woman is paying for the plane tickets and hotel costs for when they fly over from the USA all the way to England.

River just thinks it's some dumb teens, which is normaly how jobs like this go. Unfortunately they discover something much more... interesting

They weren't expecting to stumble upon four tall, weird creatures. Obviously River was freaked out, but these strange monsters seemed to have taken a liking to this random human and basically follow them around everywhere they can, much to rivers displeasure.

But hey they warm up to these weird beasts eventually! Or more just got used to being followed around by some weird monsters. Instead of going back to the dumpster fire that is the US, they use the money from the job(they lied and said it was just some teens, and still got paid) to rent an apartment next to the woods.

Now they're trying to study these strange creatures, while also dealing with finding another job to keep the bills taken care of because again, hunting for cryptids doesn't pay well. Hopefully things go well. After all, what could go wrong with a human and four monsters?
