random Steve Randle Top Gun AU h/cs

because although I haven’t drawn this AU much lately, I do think about it often lol

-Mav gives Steve a tape player & some cassettes- CCR, Hendrix, a few other classic bands that are just after Steve’s time, and some 80s covers of 50s songs. Steve’s confused, but likes it. Sends a few to the gang, which is useless to them, since there’s no tape players in the 60s

-Steve watches Star Wars and American Graffitti, and prefers American Graffiti. Really likes the drag racing scene at the end

-Steve and Mav argue about whether or not Steve has to wear a helmet on Mav’s motorcycle. Mav says Steve does, only Mav doesn’t wear a helmet, so…

-Steve discovers hairspray! Still uses grease, but likes hairspray too. Sends some to Two-Bit who thinks it’s drugs

-In this AU I’m gonna make Evie a girl from San Diego who he meets at school. She becomes his only real friend lol. And for the first time in their friendship, Soda’s the one jealous of one of Steve’s friends

-Steve and Evie eventually get together, and Iceman makes fun of Mav for being less successful with the ladies than his hood-ish little brother from the middle of nowhere

-Evie shows Steve the very 80s shopping mall, and he’s blown away. Has never seen so much stuff all together in one place lol

-She also introduces him to video games, which she is very good at, but he sucks at them so he’s not so fond of them. He’ll still go to the arcade with her though, he’ll grin and bear it if she’s happy.

-Steve refuses at first to call Mav “Mav”, and only refers to him as “Mitchell”

-At least until Maverick offers Steve a chance to pick his own callsign. Then Steve’s onboard

-Steve keeps trying to convince Mav to let him at least work on the planes- if he can’t fly them can he at least follow the engineers around?? (he can’t)

-Everyone at school assumes Steve is just another Navy brat, which bugs him for some reason

-Goose and Ice and the other pilots like to joke around with both Steve and Mav in very similar ways, and then compare their reactions

-Goose and Carole become Steve’s self appointed uncle and aunt. They’re both a bit like Soda, so Steve gets along with them better than he gets along with most other adults

-Like Mav though, Steve initially dislikes Ice. He pretends to like him to piss off Mav, but he secretly finds Ice really obnoxious and Soc-y. He’s never close enough to Ice to discover the guy has layers, so he just continues to not vibe with him, yk?

-The room Mav gives Steve originally is completely unfurnished, with just a desk, and a bed with an air mattress on it. Neither Steve or Mav have any real problem with this until Evie, Goose, and Carole find out and are horrified on Steve’s behalf lol

-Soda comes out to visit whenever he can, and much to his irritation, he likes Evie. He wants to hate her for stealing Steve, but he really really likes her. They both will go to the arcade and play for hours. Steve hates this with a passion.

-Steve keeps bugging Mav to teach him how to surf, and Mav keeps coming up with excuses why not to- secretly, Mav does not actually know how to surf

-Eventually Evie teaches both of them lol, and then Soda too

-Steviepop happens at some point, and Mav finds out b/c he walks in on Soda- Steve’s best friend- and Evie, Steve’s girlfriend, kissing. He low-key freaks out and goes to Goose for advice

-And finally Mav brings it up to Steve, only for Steve to get really embarrassed before admitting that he’s dating a girl and a guy who are also dating each other and he knows it’s weird but it’s just how things are-

-Mav just sorta shakes his head and is like…okay, whatever, kids are weird. (In a goosemavcarole au, this makes him realize he’s a little in love with both Goose and Carole which sends him into a slight crisis) (but i only ship that sometimes so idk)

-Steve tries to convince Mav to let him use the motorcycle alone sometime

-Mav says no, less out of fear for Steve’s safety and more out of fear for his motorcycle’s safety tbh

PERCY JACKSON HEADCANONS PART 5!!

these are split into 2 parts, one section is a special edition and the other is a regular part! 💙💙

1. The kids at camp have called him “dad” by accident before. It makes him wonder if kids ever accidentally called Luke “dad.”

2. He once got in a car accident w G*be cs G*be was drunk

3. He walks S U P E R fast. Nobody can keep up with him at a normal pace.

4. He’s really weird about his laundry. He doesn’t just separate into whites, colors, and darks. He also separates the colors into lights, mediums, and darks. Then he has a separate load for any towels. It’s weird and super obsessive.

5. Flinches when people get angry at him

6. He’s actually really good with figures of authority, until they give him a reason not to

7. Him and Nico once went to California so that Percy could try to surf (Nico shadow-traveled them.) But after they did that, they wanted to go on a walk, but they got lost in the woods. Nico had to be somewhere for his dad, so he left but said he would come back. He didn’t come back so Percy was abandoned and lost in the woods for like 3 days until he found his way home. Annabeth was furious at both of them. (but mostly Percy because everyone always blames him.)

8. He’s a really good liar. He gets that from Sally.

9. Kronos passed some powers down to Percy in a type of blessing way. Poseidon was always Kronos’ favorite, and Percy is a lot like his dad. In the books, Kronos canonically was interest in Percy. He liked him, in a way. So, he gave some gifts. It attributes to Percy’s prophetic dreams, or the dreams where’s he’s transported to the past (because Kronos is the titan of time and time encompasses the past, present, AND future.) It also attributes to my actual headcanon: Percy has a way of just knowing things. He gets feelings about things, whether or not something will end up well or if something awful is gonna happen. I said that he could like see the past through water right? (the frozen thing.) That’s also a part of the Kronos thing.

10. He hates Christmas. It was terrible and overwhelming during his years with G*be and he always hated the idea of holidays. Sally always tried to make it special but G*be was a tyrant. Percy loves giving his friends gifts though.

11. He is the BEST gift giver ever

12. People sometimes joke about him being an Aphrodite kid cs he’s so pretty

13. He knows a lot of random facts. He’s like alexa. “hey percy, what’s the temperature?” “it’s 82 degrees.” or “hey percy when did taco bell get founded.” “1962.”

14. Like I said, he was involved in drug dealing when he was 8 and he moved up super fast and started selling some of the cheaper, easier-to-get stuff to some people and that’s where he got the knowledge and experience from to start illegally selling candy out of his locker when he was at Yancy.

15. The first time he ever heard the words “I’m proud of you” directed at him was at his high school graduation. Paul took him aside and gave him his fist and said that he was proud of him. Percy cried. When he was growing up, Sally was too busy to really notice he needed to hear those words and nobody else cared enough to say them. (Paul supremacy for EVERRR)

16. Percy makes a point of looking after/over Will after Lee and Michael passed, but he tried to not let Will notice because Percy is convinced that Will hates him. Will doesn’t hate him, he never even blamed Percy. He wanted to but he couldn’t. As a doctor who had been in that position many times,. he knew that Percy probably tried his best it just didn’t work. Will knows Percy is looking over him. He’s not sure he minds so much.

17. Percy trusts Annabeth completely, but after she was scared of him in tartarus, he started hiding bits of himself from her. He saw that she didn’t like that part of him so he never showed it to her again, and it caused him to withdrawal from her emotionally for a long time.

18. Percy will often complain about wanting to go home. But, truthfully? Percy doesn’t believe he HAS a home. He has never felt at home, and every time he gets that brief, fleeting feeling, it’s destroyed. Percy thinks that that’s because of his name’s meaning. That he is destined to destroy everything in his life.

19. He’s a great dancer

20. He has really good aim in everything but archery (like when they met that guy with the big turtle in HoH and he gave Jason a haircut? That good of aim. It’s a poseidon thing.) He could throw a knife and it could hit its point even if the target is 2 miles away. It’s superhuman.

PERCY JACKSON HEADCANONS PART 5.5!!

(this is a special edition i made for percy’s birthday! so these are ALL birthday headcanons for percy!)

1. Percy goes to the camp graveyard (which is about a mile in the forest, it’s magically protected from the elements and any predators) every single year on his birthday to visit all the people that died “because of him.”

2. Percy is determined every year to celebrate ONLY his and Annabeth’s anniversary, never his birthday. Annabeth and Sally (plus Paul and Grover) always ends up having some kind of get-together or special celebration for Percy’s birthday, and Percy tries to enjoy it but he never actually can.

3. During those get-togethers, he always takes a few extra trips to the bathroom to cry. He locks the door and sits on the bathroom floor with the water running until he feels mentally stable enough to not have a breakdown in front of his family.

4. The nightmares get extra bad around his birthday. He starts to see visions of himself as Luke, and him fighting Luke. He sees Beckendorf and Silena’s death over and over again, and think about how he and Annabeth are getting to live the life that those two never could. He zones out more frequently, hearing the screams and explosions of battle echoing inside his head.

5. Sally forgot Percy’s 8th birthday because she was so swamped and overwhelmed with work and G*be and trying to do everything for everyone. She felt so guilty afterwards that she got together enough money to take Percy out to dinner. Turns out, Percy had forgotten his birthday, too, but he still appreciated the food.

6. As a kid, before all the godly stuff, Percy doubted he would live to the age of 13. Then he did, but he doubted he would live past 16. Now he still lives in constant fear and doubt that he will live another year. And a secret part of him hates seeing that number go up on the cake and candles every year. He HATES that he lived past 16, and that he can continue living, when so many others didn’t.

7. His father doesn’t do anything for Percy’s birthday. Poseidon had only showed up to Percy’s 15th birthday as a way to give some extra support for Percy, making him feel like the gods (or at least Poseidon) cared about him. It was a battle tactic to make sure their strongest weapon didn’t have any underlying bitterness or revolutionary thoughts. Since his 15th and 16th birthday, Poseidon has never even treated August 18th like any other day. Percy doesn’t even get a call or card. Percy acts like it doesn’t bother him, but it does.

8. On Percy’s 17th birthday, he was still at camp but he was going to go into the city to visit his parents later that day. At breakfast that morning, the first person to tell him happy birthday was Mr. D. (Annabeth was a close second though.)

9. Percy has always hated his birthday. He did when he was a kid, then he got the prophecy and his birthday was a countdown to his death. On his 16th birthday a bunch of his friends died, then on his 17th he was mourning the loss of Leo. When he was younger, G*be didn’t really let him celebrate his birthday. Sally would make a cake but it took a LOT of persuasion for G*be to let them do anything else and there was only one exception for that one year (he wasn’t made aware that they were going out.) That hatred doesn’t fade ever. He will always hate his birthday and he will do everything in his power to make himself ignore his birthday and focus on his anniversary (he gets irritated at his family for making his birthday a big deal, but he won’t bring it up.)

ur last post hit me like a truck bc my brother is apparently huge on the (also abysmal) cs 1.6 surf scene

when tf2 surfing era ended with the death of the only good server collection (ReSurfed) i went to csgo surfing which still kinda kicked ass but wasn't as good. like most servers were missing one plugin or another that made surfing just a a little bit worse. now that cs2 is out with source 2 we're in poverty. nobody's ported anything but like one map that is boring to play because its been around for like 10 years or something. there are no good servers at all.im fuckiung having to go back to tf2 to join the fucking idle bots squatting in spawn

[PS5] Games similar to surf in counter strike ? Hey there !Bakc when I had a PC and Counter Strike, I loved played surf servers. It was soothing to me in a way no other games have. Now sadly I dont have a PC anymore, nor will I in the foreseeable future, but I do have a PS5, and I was wondering if there existed games that could somewhat ressemble surf mode in CS.
