Él creció con este dicho familiar: “No rías demasiado de vas a llorar”. Este dicho, venía como herencia desde sus bisabuelos que sufrieron grandes y dolorosas pérdidas en su tiempo. Sin embargo en este hoy.. de alguna forma seguía impregnado en cada pensamiento y acción que él realizaba. Nunca lograba sentirse tranquilo y en paz.. siempre alerta, siempre nervioso.. ante la espera de este cataclismo que seguramente le esperaba más allá de la esquina o en la siguiente puerta. Dejó ir tantas cosas que amaba por miedo a ser feliz.. por temor de que en verdad la alegría, el entusiasmo, la pasión se sentía.. se convirtieran en llanto y pena. Vivía a medias.. no permitiéndose disfrutar el lado hermoso y luminoso que la vida también es. Lo hizo… hasta que una enfermedad llegó a visitarlo y le llevó a reevaluar lo que habían sido hasta entonces sus días.
