INCREDIBLY LOUD, VIOLENTLY DEPRESSING INTERMISSION TWO CSS SPOILERS I WOULD NOT REC READING BELOW THE CUT IF YOU'RE NOT CAUGHT UP OR THERE, BUT THESE ARE MY THOUGHTS REGARDING ONE AND THE OTHER AND WHAT EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE MISSING

I have watched with vague amusement as everyone celebrates/is happy to see that Wendy and Tammy are still 'alive' when they've actually signed themselves up for a fate worse than death. I'm, like, genuinely waiting for this to sink in. They no longer have legitimate physical bodies as shown in their own flickers and blinks from physicality. They lose themselves a little more every time they get closer to their main objective. They can't go back to their people. They are literally ghosts of themselves that have given their souls and futures to be absorbed into a concept so that everyone else could have a chance at surviving and getting out only to realize they failed and have to further lose themselves to try and fix the issue.

They are both fully aware that they are not Tammy and Wendy anymore (literally look at their behavior and what they're doing in int 2 outside of each other), but will continue to lie about it and look at it as them just 'changing over time and circumstance' because the truth is too much to bare and the only reason they can even do that is because they have each other. But if you really look and you really pay attention to the verbiage here, all of those sub-cores they've been killing and absorbing were just like them at one point or another.

There has always been people like them that came before.

And that will be them if The Server stays the way it is.

And there's no actual escape. They just have to keep planning, fighting, and surrendering to the distractions of each other and oblivion and hope there's salvation for them that their predecessors haven't figured out yet.

Fucking crazy that we're here after almost three months of posting this/starting writing this, but I digress.

Some fanart of @memberment's fic "CSS Adventures" :) This is my favorite scene in the fic so far, though I definitely took some creative liberties with the monster/how things generally look lol. And I hate shading, so there's not really any here... bear with me.

I was going to try and figure out the echo garden code, and then I got really busy 💀 I'm still super curious about how you got the glow effect to work, though! That and the rainbow text from previous chapters (like the Tweek/Craig shimmer with the blue background?). When/if you get time, would you mind making a post explaining the code behind all that? I'm so curious (like, even if I don't see myself using it, I just want to know how it works so badly LOL). Thank you!!

Okay okay okay, so starting off with the echo garden code.

So I took this neon code from this testing fic I stumbled upon, however I did not bookmark it and after like ten minutes of looking I can't find it. But the original CSS for it looked like this:

now, I didn't actually fuck with this at all, but the overall concept was there and that was what I wanted so I messed around a little bit and turned it into this

So what I did was I changed the colors, the one above is for Page 333, the font, the font size, and I took out the transform to uppercase.

And for the colors the hex codes are as follows

344: #d1930d

345: #56f558

346: #ac82f5 and the gold is the same as 344

347: #5db8fc

And then I just threw a black background on all the chapters. I want to go back I and fix the padding but I have yet to do so because I am incredibly lazy.

As for the rainbow, I have a regular rainbow and then 'eyestrainrainbow' which is a modified version of my regular rainbow

I had to mess around with the colors A LOT for this, it was honestly a fucking nightmare, but I think I got there just fine lmao
