I was rereading Cucumber Quest from the beginning and this little moment really caught my attention. I just wanna take a second to appreciate ggdg's writing.

We all remember the catalyst of the series right?

Almond gives Peridot the last disaster stone because-

Well after that when Carrot and Almond leaves the room Cucumber says-

This little innocuous comment about Cucumber feeling responsible for his sister's actions becomes far, far more heart wrenching when I remember this scene is coming.

I’m so sad that Halloween is over, but can you draw Cucumber as a superhero, Almond as a knight in armor, and Nautilus as a witch?

I have had this in the drafts for a while because I wanted to respond but I could never figure out how to draw nautilus! I hope this is alright though, and there's always next year

I wish the Cucumber Quest fandom wasn't so dead, so there could be more content/media of my tiny husband Noisemaster. We Cucumber quest fans are but scarce as of 2025, we are dwindling. Like, bro, Gigi literally worked on undertale, they have an amazing art style, other great fan-works (like comics for She-Ra) and lovable good characters. Why doesn't CQ have more fans?? I say Cucumber quest had some of the best subtle queer rep 2011 had to offer. Force more people to read this unfinished masterpiece.

❄️ Dreamside has ear mittens! ❄️

One small thing I love about Cucumber Quest is that many characters can be seen wearing ear muffs/ear mittens when it gets cold!

Real rabbits release heat through their ears, so it’s a really cool world building detail that dreamsiders have made clothing to combat this. Also, it’s so adorable!
