How was your new year's?

It was fine, for the most part. I stayed home, mostly for Ding-Ding.

What did people do to stop you trusting them?

⩙ Do you know how many people have looked at me in my eyes and said they can fix me? Good Cop, Lucy, Vitruvius, Business, now Snowball... And it turns out, not one of them had any intention of even trying. The good guys want to lock me up, the bad guys want to use me. So tell me - why should I trust anyone with anything?

Who does the cooking?

≜ Em. I used to help out, but Nightshade's been doing that recently. I'm not complaining. Though, he still makes me deal with the fire or the oven, sometimes. Night actually seems to be scared of it.

What's everyone been doing since they got out?

⛯ Spark's been mostly resting, and I've been looking after him. We're definitely enjoying the home comforts that Unikitty has allowed us to use. This place is a little chaotic, but thankfully we tend to be on the outside of it all. We've gotten into a couple of different television shows that don't exist back home. They're very different. I'm definitely enjoying the drama.

Cleric has been helping us, for the most part. He's keeping an eye on Spark's magic levels, despite how many times I tell him that I'm fine on my own. I'm not sure he knows what else to do with himself, haha. At least he's got his little herb seedlings to keep him occupied.

I believe Threes has been contacting various people about his issues. He hasn't left the castle at all yet. He'll go into the gardens when there's someone with him, but not alone. It's a little worrying. But he's hopeful that the same people who helped his vision will be able to help with his other problems. He said they can't be cured or dispelled with magic, and require people who can use computers. I don't really understand, but I think there is progress being made.

Buddy spends most of his time sitting by the window and reading. He's told me that the outdoors makes him nervous, so he's enjoying it from afar for now. It's nice to see he's already put a little weight on. At least, compared to before. The same with the cat, who rarely leaves his side, other than to go and beg for food, or doze off in the middle of the hallway.

Rex seems to be taking every opportunity to get back into training, despite Void being very clear that he won't be going home any time soon. Any time that isn't spent sparring with inanimate objects or semi-willing participants is spent drawing and playing games. He doesn't seem to like having nothing to do. He hasn't taken his backpack off since we left the void. I think he even took it into the bathroom with him when he showers. I don't understand why. And I also don't understand why he hasn't gone to Dr. Fox about the 'de-aging machine' yet. He complains about it enough.

Nightshade is doing well, actually. He seems much more open to the others since he returned from his home universe. I guess he really did do everything just to fix his mistakes. Perhaps this is me reading too far, but he seems a little aimless and unsure of himself, now. At least he's gotten into cooking to keep himself entertained and motivated.

Chip has only just joined us, so there's not much to update. Thus far, he's been enjoying messing around with others' clothes and asking them about what they're doing. It's been very nice to interact with him directly rather than him being the little ghost inside the star ship.

I don't know about the other two. Em's whereabouts are still unknown, and the only thing he's sent to the 'group chat' is a photograph of a moth. He seems to be doing well, but it's hard to know when we can't talk to him.

Void spends all of its time alone. It'll come out of its room to check in on us a couple of times a day. No talking, just peering in to see if we're ok. Other than that, it doesn't really leave. It usually takes a while to answer when we knock, too, not that this happens often.

So: what regrets do you have? If you could go back and change that event, would you?

⩙ One thing I've realised is that people tend to have names for every little event that happens. There are some that seem to have multiple. From what I've heard, the equivalent is this 'TAKOS Tuesday', or 'Taco', or whatever homophone or acronym it is. Is it an acronym? What does it even stand for?

Of course I'd change it. Maybe not in the way that they'd want me to, but hey... I'm sure they'd take what they can get.
