Now this next one is definitely a scene that's been on my wips for ages but I figured the screenshots were good too. It's a discussion between Sam and Rhodey about what happened to Rhodey during Civil War and we ALL have read fic addressing it, and while I hated this was in a deleted scene, the fact it's actually a canon thing is kind of nice.

Also, I had to take this shot because clearly a WHOLE lot of people (mostly the kids) wanted that (ice cream) cake lmao

Not me debating writing an Aventio fic based on a book I really loved... urgh-

I got Aven recently and just finished his arc in Penacony and I am incredibly bored! I wanna write while I have the energy...

Lemme know if I should :p

Basic premise is its based on a book called Written In Red, which I feel absolutely fits Aventurine??? Look at the book first, give it a read, and tell me the main character doesn't remind you of him. I will go feral.

Anyways if you don't, the premise of the book is that the main character, a blood prophet who is also a slave, escapes and runs away from captivity to a town in order to hide and live amongst sentient predators called "Others", basically ancient as fuck monsters that can swap between animal and human forms. Others actually do prey on humans, but it's modern times and they have a begrudging agreement to coexist with humans because they make decent stuff that the Others can't create. The main character ends up living among them and figures out herself, while also teaching the Others some new things. It's actually a nice book in my opinion.

I'd have to reread the book but yeah. That would be the very basic idea. I already have a character list of who is who lmao.

I wouldn't make it a carbon copy of the book though, not with the characters I have in mind, but it would be a similar plot at least. Consider giant wolf Ratio, everybody, that's all I'm giving you.

genuinely admire those who were optimistic for dishonored 3 but in this videogame industry climate and [insert a 4hr video essay about arkane's recent history here], honestly, not getting dh3 is good news

#dishonored #arkane studios #i know its silly to meme when the take is nuanced #and i admit that blade is one hell of an aesthetic. but i'm sitting out of this #somewhat being a hater yes. but that is because i am a lover #i dont think its pointless hater-ing though to be critical of something i wish i could love more #my takeaway from arkane is that its better to be not a fan of a company. a company does not make games #a company's staff does. and those staff need to be treated well and given budget and breathing room to make good things #and i have my doubts about that at the moment. very well documented and supported doubts #if arkane is given AAA budget to make a game. it probs wont be another dh. except maybe a remake bc those are 'safe' bets.#ie. dh1 remastered would sell #judging by doto and even dh2 (which i loved even tho its flawed). i dont think arkane really 'get' why dh1 was magical #so im not sure that a third in the series could necessarily recapture it #especially as theyve confirmed they're closing the drawer on the current overarching plotline #this is the hater corner celebration! i am pouring you a drink! Been thinking of making a tierlist of my thoughts on all the teams for a while so here it is!! As you can see, I am indifferent to or hate most of the league... 😶‍🌫️🫣 which is why I generally say I'm more of a Canucks fan than a hockey fan lol

really hate that the most pervasive fan-interpretation of isaac is (or at least used to be) "soft, sad, innocent puppy in love with scott". like in love with scott maybe sure. sad sure. but he's not SOFT or INNOCENT, he's a BITCH and he's MEAN and his automatic reaction to anyone he doesn't like is to try to fistfight and/or murder them. he has his soft moments but they are far overwhelmed by what a petty bitch he is. and to me thats like the peak of his character and why i love him as much as i do but so much of the fandom apparently saw him and threw all that out the window.
