i dont know how to explain to yall that saying "hey im gay and it bothers me that a lot of stuff i have no interest in or even really dislike is forced on me as inherently part of my identity just because it was made by a queer person and i am also queer" is like. a reasonable thing to say and feel, and its not an end of the world extinction level event actually cause thats how some of yall act when people express themselves in any way thats not compatible with mainstream pop music and eurocentric standards. these are always the gays that say they are sooooooo rebelious and edgy and wouldve been throwing bricks at stonewall, but then as soon as you do anything outside of what they perceive as normal and acceptable, theyll call you a freak and shun you. youre not the radical queers you think you are, you are very much assimilationists and a plague on queers + get a grip + turning my phone off <3

I find myself hoping that the next iterations of Transformers shake up Optimus and Megatron’s backstories a bit more

I mean sure, Transformers One shook it up a little, having them both be miners and the creation of the Decepticons being a lot more spontaneous and for somewhat different reasons, but it still follows the general current backstory. They were friends before the war, Megatron created what would become the Decepticons originally to fight for change and equality in a corrupt Cybertron, their ideals start shifting as Megatron wants more forceful means and Optimus more peaceful, they split off and the war starts up from their disagreements on the situation. Megatron tends to take Optimus’ splitting off personally and Optimus still holds some amount of feelings towards Megatron due to their shared history. Also, Megatron is usually a gladiator or miner and while Optimus is more flexible, he’s usually a file clerk/archivist or in Earthspark and One’s case, a laborer

Like I mean, it’s not a bad backstory. But I think it’s been their general backstory for the past 15 years or so. By this point I think we can maybe change things up a little more

Hobie probably isn’t the “smoke and get scared of everyone in the food court” type but he probably does forget he’s actually talking midway through a sentence so he’ll just start making noises or sounding like the predicted text in your phone. He thinks he’s being stealthy trying to hide it because he didn’t expect anyone over but he just said “I don’t want to dye my hair right now because of the fact i and i am so sorry for that too late but i’m and i” followed by a scarily accurate minecraft zombie noise and Gwen, queen of ignoring things she probably shouldn’t, just keeps nodding and acting like he’s adding anything to their prior conversation

I really do wonder if locking up literally everything and hiring security is worth it for drugstores and groceries. like either people who can will go to a store that doesn't do it or order delivery, or you're going to have to hire more people to unlock everything (or you won't and wait times will be awful and see my first point)
