Short Answer: Mal is endgame, but romancing (or at least flirting) with all 6

Me: so let me expand on that

Mal is forever my #1, Daenarya could never end up with anyone else, but she's a hardcore flirt and loves physical touch so she flirts with all six (and Mal enjoys watching). Also, Daenarya is pan and although she loves Mal she misses women (as he misses men) so Nia (and now Valax) are enjoyable to her as well. I think she likes teaching them to enjoy things, where as Imtura is more experienced so it's a different dynamic, but she loves that too.

That said, it doesn't mean I choses all the romantic options for all of them. Daenarya never leads them on like with Tyril there was a choice about starting a family or children or something and I didn't choose that. If discussion of the future comes up, I never choose an option that promises more than what it is for anyone put Mal.

Of the 6 LI, I have the hardest time with Daenarya romancing Tyril because he belongs with Maiele (and I can't unsee that) and also Mal likes romancing Tyril (and I'm 1000% here for that) hehe. I enjoyed Aerin's path in book 2 a lot but I didn't choose all the romance options for him either. I have a hard time with LI that betray MC, it's why I started writing Aerin with an OC that he never betrayed. I play his romance scenes more to learn more of his character rather than for his connection with Daenarya

Whatever happened to the two realms moving at different times?

I feel like this storyline was forgotten about or at least not done consistently.

In book one, Kade seemed to be in the Shadow Realm for months (which would be consistent with real time in the Light Realm... unless Kade was there a lot longer than he thought?). But when MC + gang went to rescue him, they were there for a couple hours and were gone 2 weeks.

In book two, MC was taken for two weeks (Shadow time) but it was one year (Light time). Yes there is the possibility that the Watcher took MC for the remaining time, but it doesn't seem like that is the case.

But that's it.. that's where the time differences stop. MC + gang popped in and out of the Shadow Realm throughout the rest of book 2 and it seem to happen in "real time". Where did that time difference go?

Now that the realms are either separated, joined by portals, or connected, does that change the time? I chose to use portals to connect the realms, is there still a chance for this time difference? If MC visits Valax for a week, will they be gone a day? a week? a year?

I feel like PB really let this storyline drop and it has never made any sense... unless I'm missing something?
