Danny: Oh gosh it was horrible wasn't it.

Lancer: No it was actually well written, however the subject matter is....concerning.

Danny: How so?

Lancer: ....You wrote a very...detailed story about a teenager dying via electrocution. It was extremely graphic and, after some research, accurate.

Danny: Yeah?

Lancer: Honestly that's not even the worst part! The boy then goes on to haunt their family, watching and unable to interact with anyone or anything while it takes months for them to even realise their son is dead, and they find him in the basement!

Danny, head tilt: What's your point?

Lancer: Are you okay?

Danny, eerily: There's nothing to worry about Mr. Lancer. It's just 'fiction' after all.

Lancer, gets the chills: ...Right, well if you say so. As for your grade, I gave you a c+. It's well written, well researched, and you didn't have many spelling or grammar errors, but the prompt was "Write a Story from the Perspective of Your Future self", and this was, of your own admittance, fiction.

Danny: I'll keep that in mind. Can I go now?

Lancer, nodding: Of course just try to keep with the prompt next time please.

Danny, after learning he can survive in space as a ghost, spends many hours floating up there. Orbiting the earth and staring outwards. He picks out Saturn, vega, Andromeda. He uses the time to de-stress and relax and fulfill his obsession.

On one such trip, after ancients knows how many hours he hears a bark that echoes in his ectoplasm. He thinks at first that it's Cujo, come to fetch him at the request of his sister or his friends. But the dog he sees when he turns around isn't Cujo.

It's Laika. She wants to play.

Contrary to popular belief, Danny's Obsession is not protection nor space. Danny wishes his obsession were so simple.

Well, not that Protecting is really simple. Or easy... Actually, it's probably better that his Obsession isn't protection. It'd be scarily easy to Fail.

Still, either of those would at least be cooler. Might make him cooler by proxy... Ah, there it goes again. His actual Obsession. See, Danny didn't die dreaming of something cool like space or badass like protecting people. No, no. Danny is, was, is; a stupid, reckless, bullied 14 year old.

Ghost King Danny but instead of mistaking him as a thousand years old ghost everyone knows he's a teenage boy. So everyone assumes he won't be able to keep it in his pants when beautiful women are offered as sacrifices.

Danny hates this and tries to help the best he can by either getting them home, finding new homes or giving them money to get home by themselves because they understandably don't trust him.

But there are some who latch onto him because he is the only one who showed them kindness and promised safety. And he can't just leave them all alone. So with the help of Pandora they create a safe haven for them. He visits them every now and again and Pandora decided to stay with them.

Imagine this guys. Ghost King Danny has been the King for many years now, ever since he was 14 and put Pariah Dark back in his timeout napping corner, and he held an elderly Jazz closely to his chest as she breathes her final breath. As she goes limp and her eyes go distant and unfocused, nothing rises from her corpse. Not a single hint of a ghost forming, or even a simple shade.

The last of his family has left him, and all he can do is scream in anguish.

A ghost who still looks like a 14 year old holds his 2 year older sisters elderly corpse, and all he can do is wail.

I got another dcxdp prompt for yall.

Instead of Dani being the clone or the long lost son of someone, what if Ellie wasn't just Vlad and Danny.

What if she was Vlad, Danny, and the dead Robin. Vlad stole his DNA after coming across him while he was on a rampage and thought his strength would be great for his creation.

But Danny finds out that's why Ellie is so unstable, it's because she was made with majorly corrupted ectoplasm and it clashed with Danny's ectoplasm. Danny was able to purify her ectoplasm and decided to help Jason.

DP x DC PROMPT

Waylon didn't plan this. He didn't plan to meet a kid in the sewers, and he certainly didn't plan on adopting the little tyke. Then again, the toddler kinda adopted him first. Danny was obviously a meta or something. No normal kid looked like a strange mix of fae and animal. Though the kid was happily calling himself a crocodile anytime someone asked what he was nowadays. It wasn't too long after Waylon adopted (Danny refused to leave and started calling him dad, so he gave up and accepted his fate) that another kid appeared. She was a spitfire, that was for sure, a little red-headed werewolf named Jazz. She was only a bit older than Danny, too.

Tucker is a meta (You decide the powers) and visits the family in the sewers with new random tech he makes. He was reborn in a nice (eh) part of gotham. His family chose to reincarnate with him, so they knew everything. They're just happy to enjoy trying things and jobs they didn't get to last life.

Sam is rich, again, much to her loathing. She's the daughter of a couple owning a company that is mostly focused on making things clean the earth (only reason she isn't seething), and also, she's a meta with control over plants. Her parents are infact ghosts that the group had befriended that happened to be planning on reincarnating anyway. They don't remember everything. Not everyone was allowed that, (ghost king Danny had privileges to ensure he didn't ignore infinite realms issues. Stupid Observants.) So Sam gets along swell with her new parents, and Tucker does as well.

Danny and Jazz end up being the reason Waylon gets an apartment. Its in crime ally, but hey, it's better than the sewers. (They still go down to the sewers. It's still their territory, their haunt. Plus, Uncle Grundy is there!) It makes it easier for Tucker to visit. (Tuck and his parents' visit for Thanksgiving and Christmas, Waylon has adult friends now, yay!).

Yada Yada, after a year or two passes, Danny gets summoned, and the Justice League is too late to stop it. Baby Danny is in ghost king regalia, confused, but before the Justice League can do anything, Jazz has already ripped open a portal (thanks wulf and cujo) and the heroes are facing a VERY angry werewolf pup and a PISSED Waylon Jones who's too busy picking his tired and disoriented ghost kid up and letting Jazz climb up his back while growling at the heroes to do anything else. Batman, in a rare sense of smartness, let's them leave without a word.

Batman may or may not be arguing with Jason about interrogating them, but eventually doesn't as a way to appease Jason and bc he knows the tired dad look waylon has.

mmm throwaway conversation between Dan and Danny that popped into my head that I had to write out:

"You spent ten years being a one-man mass extinction event, then went back in time and fought me, and lost." Danny snarls, arms crossed and throat tight. His mouth pulls back to bare dagger-sharp teeth, and his eyes burn with the familiar thrum of ectoplasm heating up behind his eyes. "If I didn't believe you were half of Vlad before, I do now."

His other self -- and really, can he even call him that? He's half of Vlad too. Two halves severed from each other and welded together to make a new whole, -- snaps his head over to him. Wild-eyed and furious, he looks unlike the man Danny fought before, the one unruffled and untouched, unbothered by the world around him. It's familiar, but not like the way a reflection is.

"What's that supposed to mean." The Other hisses, matching Danny's scowl one-for-one with fangs much bigger and sharper than his.

But there's a reason lions fear hyenas. Danny matches the rumble in The Other's chest with one of his own, and shoves his face close to his. "I don't lose."

Absolutely tickled by the idea that, after the accident, everyone thinks Danny is a vampire. Like him being a ghost doesn't sound plausible, but at the same time if ghosts are a thing so to should be vampires. Why do people think this? A couple reasons.

1. They never see Danny eat anymore

-Danny doesnt need to eat as Ectoplasm now sustains him, he doesn't even notice he hasn't eaten in 3 weeks, he just hasn't felt hungry

2. He is now super super pale

-While not the ghostly green/blue of normal ghosts, since Danny is still half alive, his skin looks super pale now, like not deathly pale, but illness pale

3. His breathing patterns are weird, like he purposefully has to remember to breathe

-Danny doesnt have to breathe as much any more, and is slowly loosing the muscle memory of having to, so hes hyper aware of his breathing but if hes focused on something else he forgets

4. He more sensitive towards the sun

-It's less being sensitive to the sun, and more it's just too hot for him during the day, outside of winter and fall, due to his ice core/powers

5. Danny is now cold to the touch

-Again, Ice Core/Powers

6. Danny seems unperterbed with death, and Horror movies, and the like

-After having died himself, hes not sacred of it. Sure there are things that still freak Danny out and make him uncomfortable, but watching a horror movie villain chase teenagers around, or having to disect frogs, or seeing road kill doesn't really effect him anymore

7. He's stronger than his noodle arms would intale

-Danny has a bit of a strength boost in ghost form, and while his human form doesnt have the same amount of strength, hes slightly stronger than he should be. Hes good at hiding it for the most part, but a few times hes shoved Dash away from him and accidentally sent him flying. Oops, sorry not sorry.

8. Enhanced senses

-Danny has night vision now, which is cool, but his senses aren't actually that much more advanced, it's only his ghost sense that makes it seem like he has better senses because he "always knows' when a ghost attack his gonna happen.

9. Hes always drinking from a thermos, and hes super protective of said thermos.

-Liquid Ectoplasm, while Danny doesnt have to eat, he does need a boost here and there after tough fights or after spending too long in human form

10: Fangs

-Danny has little ghost fangs, they're longer in ghost form, at about 2-3 inches, but in human form they're only about 1 inch

Danny has no idea people think hes a vampire. Yeah they're all weirdly polite now but he just thinks that his classmates are maturing and being nicer. Hes proud of them!

Jack and Maddie don't really care. Like they're concerned about how he became a vampire, but since hes not a ghost(as far as they know) and he seems fine they're happy to just ignore it. Same with the GIW, they could care less about blood suckers, vampires belong to different branch of government guys who suck at their job, and they suck at their jobs somehow worse than the GIW so they're not really an issue.

But Jazz, Sam, and Tucker, oh they know. And they think it's hilarious! They also help play it up, because if people think Danny is a Vampire, they won't look too deeply into any connection he might have with Phantom.

…Dannny Phantom fics often talk about Amity being chill with ghosts and whatnot, yet I don’t think I’ve ever really seen the logical conclusion of that:

Dying but just… keeping going.

A kid at Casper High dies in an accident and comes back in for class a few days later. Moves the memorial off their desk to make room for their notebook.

An elderly book club member shows up to the new meeting semi-transparent. They laugh off any concern with something along the lines of “At least my back pain’s gone!”

Someone calls in to their job like, “Hey, uh, I died. Does… does that mean I get the day off?”

No one quite knows how to react. Phantom shows up the first few times to ask if everything’s alright, but then starts to leave them be.

It’s… fine?

At first, people very carefully walk on eggshells around the topic of death, but it gradually fades into the background. People just treat it as a new rule of polite conversation. The world goes on. It’s still just Amity Park, the most haunted city in America.

They’ll have to address it eventually, they know. It’s far too big not to. But for the moment, things just keep going as they were.

After all the shit that happened to team Phantom sorta died down, ghosts started to chill out, and stay in the ghost zone. The GiW getting their shit rocked and disbanded. And a good reveal with the Fenton parents.

Danny, now a retired vigilante, has no idea what to do. He finished school, and has no idea what else to do, collage is still on the table though.

When Johnny 13 was visiting Danny(Kitty was having a girls day with Ember and other teenage girl ghosts), Danny started to ask questions about motorcycles n such.

And Johnny was happy to answer all Danny's questions and finally asks out of curiosity. "Are you intrested in owning one?"

And Danny was like "yeah! I have nothing else to do!"

Cue Danny building his OWN motorcycle from scratch(practically everyone knows Danny is Phantom, but not Phantom planet compliant cause fuck that episode). And from the motorcycle sorta embedded with ectoplasm(as some kind of fuel), it basically connected to Danny in some way, Danny now having the ability to summon the motorcycle at will. (the motorcycle is various purples and reds so when he turns into Phantom, the motorcycle is green.)

And Danny finally applies for Collage at Gotham! Yay! And what other best transportation other than his trusty motorcycle he can fracking summon at will.

Gothamites have no idea how to feel about Danny, they just know that he is an awsome motorcycle guy who has an aura of safety and security.

Idfk what else to put. Just motorcyclist Danny, this can be on it's own like a collage au aswell.

Sleight of Handyman

Danny is really good at engineering and becomes a renowned handy man. His catchphrase, or to be more specific, his catch “move” is hitting something once and it works almost instantly. Some people think he’s a meta that can fix things by hitting it. But there’s more to it than that.

In the instant he hits something, he turns his hand intangible and reaches through to fix whatever is going on without going through the tedious rigamarole of dismantling it. It’s just so fast it looks like he’s simply banging on it to get it to work.

He ends up working his way up through different chains to the point the Justice League hires him.
