Dick being part of the police force has to investigate a bulgary across the street from a very suspicious store. He has to ask the owner of the store, who has weird vibes just like the store, for camera footage to use to try and catch the thief. When the owner says he doesn't have any cameras, Dick becomes even more wary, as who the hell doesn't have cameras around their store in Gotham?

Meanwhile, Danny sees the pretty cop and hopes he doesn't spill too much while he's trying hard not to make a fool of himself. Oh, and he has to keep his secret about the store's true intentions there. A safe place from the government for ghosts, where they can buy ectoplasm infused food to stay going and hide out in the bunker. It's been going pretty smooth, but now he's afraid that the handsome cop is being a little too suspicious for his liking, especially with all these questions.

And why the hell is Nightwing, a major vigilante in Gotham, all of a sudden very interested in his store?

(Sure! I hope you enjoy! I had a lot of fun describing it, but I don't think I'm as into it as I am with Dick x Dan.)

Dick sighed as he trudged through the streets of Blüdhaven. He was exhausted and wet and irritated, and as he continued to walk through the rain, he stopped when he spotted a colorful flyer. He picked it up gingerly and read it, eyes widening.

"Phantom Circus! Free on Opening Night on XXX Street at 7 o'clock!"

Dick checked his phone for the time and then took off in a run when noticing that it was already 6:53.

He arrived just barely on time and was quickly ushered inside of the large tent that was located on the edge of Blüdhaven. It was already crowded and the familiar smell of peanuts and popcorn filled the air alongside the boisterous chatter of guests and spectators.

Dick already felt better being in such a nostalgic environment and he sat down as the lights began to turn off.

A beautiful, tall woman with red hair, dressed as the ringmaster, spoke to the audience.

"Welcome to the Phantom Circus! We hope you enjoy our show. But be warned... not everything is as it seems...." she disappeared with a puff of smoke and there were cheers.

Dick grinned and relaxed to watch the show.

It wasn't as simple or bold as Haly's Circus, but it was fun and extremely creative. There were dagger shows and magic tricks and actually funny jokes, and it was incredibly enjoyable as the show continued.

As time went on, Dick's eyes found the hidden stagehands who were attaching silk ropes and lines along the circus ceiling.

He perked up. Was there going to be an acrobatics show?

And sure enough, the lights shone down on a person clad in black and white, standing several feet above the audience. Their hair was black and a mask covered their face, but their lean and lithe body reminded Dick of an acrobat such as himself.

"And now... the death defying Phantom! Watch and see as Phantom flies above the crowd like a ghost!"

Dick's breath caught. Phantom prepared himself, hands raised before he jumped.

He fell through the air and Dick stood up, alongside many people, to watch him fall.

He did several mid-air flips and then landed on a cloud swing, grabbing hold of the rope to swing several times. There were cries of surprise and as Phantom swung, he threw himself off and then grabbed hold of the silk rope that hung several feet away. He tangled himself up in the silk and then made an aesthetic pose.

The audience clapped loudly and Dick joined in, in awe despite seeing acrobatic acts every night as a vigilante.

Phantom continued his routine doing more and more impossible and beautiful stunts. Dick's breath caught each time as he watched him soar through the air like a bird.

By the end, Dick couldn't help but dream of flying alongside him.

Whoopsie Danny made a Halfa

Normally, I delete the prompt list after figuring out what to do with them, but I feel like you guys should see this one. halfa dick, danny x sam x tucker, good parents maddie and jack, danny x dick, injury, blind date, psychiatrist jazz, cryptic clockwork. And this isn't even my craziest or most difficult list I've gotten from the prompt wheel. I did drop "no romance" and "danny x damian" because I feel like that's going beyond my abilities to bs a prompt into existence. Also, it would be weird for damian and dick to date/have dated the same person.

Danny, Sam, and Tucker have moved out of Amity Park to Metropolis or Gotham. Jazz moved to Bludhaven.

On a video call with Jazz, Dani, Danny's parents, Danny notices a green sticky note appear behind his parents. Jack reads the note that basically says that Danny should look out for injured birds.

While visiting Jazz in Bludhaven, Danny finds a very injured Nightwing and tries to help him. He gets him to Jazz's apartment because it's close, and they get to work. What they're doing isn't helping. So, Danny reflexively taps into the little amount of ecto that is slowly making Nightwing liminal and accidently pores in too much ecto right as his heart stops.

Then, Nightwing's alive. Sorta. Not quite. Danny might have turned him into a halfa. Just a little bit. Ok, it was probably completely his fault. Danny gets sucked into teaching the new halfa about how his new powers work.

Meanwhile, Sam and Tucker are trying to convince him to meet this cute guy they want to add into their polycule. Come on, Jazz has already met and done the entire Older Sister routine!

Danny finally caves and goes on a blind date with the guy. They hit it off. Now, Dick just has to figure out how to get his partners to realize that he's Nightwing without everything getting weird. Oh, and avoid the awkwardness that comes with them trying to tell him about Danny being a halfa.

It's really too bad that Jazz decided to team up with Dani for a little light hazing. Nothing says "welcome to the family" more than preventing the new guy from being able to share secrets with his significant others.

In the Christmas spirit

Danny needs to find a place to lie low from everyone during Christmas so he choses Gotham

He somehow does a reverse hallmark Christmas movie and still gains a boyfriend

Going to be honest, I try to run away when my family start watching hallmark Christmas movies, idk why but there's something in them that leave me uncomfortable...

But I can see where you going! The annual Fenton Christmas disaster is starting and our favourite ghost-boy doesn't want to anger Ghost Writer and be around his parents during this time of the year. He totally would do a reverse hallmark x-mas movie by total accident , especially when he remembers WHY he's in Gotham, which he would be reminded a lot.

Now... for the partners... I'm a sucker for Dead On Main (JasonxDanny), but DannyxDick would probably be a interesting ship to use in this instance... With Damian he would probably get a little uncomfortable, Tim... hm... would be awkward at least... for the fact Tim didn't have a lot of family time, and would not know how to act during this time, DukexDanny... honestly idk, Dead Silent (CassxDanny) would be fluff and cute... i think, but she would have a little of the same problem as Tim...
