[ Ooc: Data would play the uke, 100%. He'd hide it under his console on the bridge and seize every opportunity to play it. Angry Romulans just terminated their transmission with the Enterprise? Immediately whips out the uke and starts playing the SpongeBob end theme. ]

[ Ooc: I'm reading a Trek novel and it's... intense. And Data somehow has a flirting subroutine like what? No. I wouldn't be surprised if Soong wrote him one for real, though, since he was also responsible for giving him the "multiple techniques" program, weirdo. ]

Data: "Flirting subroutine? How about I infodump about the conservation of angular momentum instead? Or my major field of study: probability mechanics? Or shall I give you a crash course in exobiology? Another specialty of mine! No? How about Earth art history?" *Initiate small, little Data smile: :3.*

[ Ooc: I always forget that Data is not only the Enterprise's second officer, but also chief operations officer (or operations management officer), so that means he'd be having OPS department meetings with all those ensigns that are always sitting at his console whenever he's doing other stuff. And now I'm here, wondering, what would those meetings be like? He'd be so kind to the ensigns and listen to all their concerns and input. :3 And I bet, at some point, he'd take Spot with him, because the ensigns keep asking how she's doing. And then they just spend the entire meeting talking about pets and overwhelming Spot with attention and treats and Spot is showing exemplary behaviour for once. Proud cat dad mode: activated. ]

[ Ooc: I just want to hangout here and write datababble, but the deadlines I have for university make me feel guilty for every second I'm not working on or even thinking about them. And in addition to that, some form of belated homesickness is starting to kick in and it's making me lethargic. :( ]
