Se le llama constructivismo a la corriente educativa que entiende el acto de enseñanza como la entrega al alumno de las herramientas necesarias para que él mismo construya los procedimientos mentales para resolver los problemas planteados, es decir, para aprender.

El constructivismo sociocultural surge de la mano de Vygotsky y plantea que los procesos psicológicos ocurren a partir de relaciones dialécticas de las personas con el medio, como una aproximación sociocultural de lo humano.

Teoría Psicogenética desarrollada por Piaget, propone una comprensión profunda de como los niños adquieren conocimientos y desarrollan su inteligencia a medida que crecen.

Propuesto por David Ausubel que consiste en un proceso mediante el cual el estudiante, para aprender, relaciona los conceptos nuevos con los que posee, así como los conceptos nuevos con la experiencia que tiene.

Según Jerome Bruner pretende que el alumno relacione conceptos, busque los conocimientos y asimile esa información, incorporándola de ese modo a sus aprendizajes previos.

UN AMBIENTE DE APRENDIZAJE ES LA EDUCACIÓN MÁS ALLÁ DE LA LITERALIDAD.

Respecto al concepto, ambiente de aprendizaje según autores como:

Bruner (1961), sugiere que los ambientes de aprendizaje deben permitir a los estudiantes descubrir principios por sí mismos mediante un enfoque constructivista. Él aboga por un aprendizaje activo y participativo, donde el instructor actúa como facilitador.

David Ausubel (1963), los ambientes de aprendizaje deben estar diseñados para facilitar la asimilación de conocimientos nuevos a través de la estructura cognitiva existente del estudiante. Destaca la importancia de la organización y presentación del material de manera l��gica y coherente.

Lev Vygotsky (1979), define los ambientes de aprendizaje como entornos donde las interacciones sociales y culturales juegan un papel crucial en el desarrollo cognitivo. Para él, el aprendizaje se construye a través de la interacci��n con otras personas y con el entorno que les rodea.

Jean Piaget (1982) ve los ambientes de aprendizaje como espacios que deben ofrecer experiencias prácticas y oportunidades para la exploración activa. Él enfatiza la importancia de que los estudiantes interactúen con su entorno para construir conocimiento a través de la experiencia directa, significativa y enriquecedora.

Howard Gardner (1983), argumenta que los ambientes de aprendizaje deben ser variados y adaptados a las múltiples inteligencias de los estudiantes. Propone que los espacios educativos deben ofrecer diferentes modos de enseñanza que reflejen las diversas formas en que las personas aprenden.

Duarte (2003), está relacionado con la idea geográfica para referirse al entorno por lo que construyeron el concepto de ambiente, el cual involucra al entorno y la acción de los seres humanos sobre él.
