calumhood: This was one of the first songs that was written for the album with Jackson Phillips, who produced a lot of it. At the start, candidly, I’d just write and see what intuitively would come out. I wrote the first verse on my birthday. One of my best friends gave me a painting and it said “Sun behind the sun.” I thought that was beautiful, so I based the whole verse around that. We had a few versions of that song in particular and it was missing a part for me. One day, I sat outside and the whole chorus came to me. It became like the conversations that you still have after someone or something has passed. It becomes a form of communicating still. As I get older, it goes all the way back to square one simplicity for me. What do I love? Who do I love? What do I cherish? Who do I cherish? It’s that simple for me. Calum Hood to Perform Solo Set in Nova’s Red Room

5 Seconds of Summer’s Calum Hood, fresh off announcing his debut solo album, will play an intimate set in Sydney next month

'5 Seconds of Summer’s Calum Hood is going solo, for one night only in Nova’s Red Room.

On Wednesday, June 11th, he’ll take the stage live at the Pleasure Club in Newtown, Sydney.

The bassist and vocalist, who recently announced his debut solo album ORDER chaos ORDER, will play an exclusive set for a handful of Nova listeners*, offering a rare, stripped-back performance of his solo material.

“This solo project is incredibly personal to me, so getting the change to perform these songs live in such an intimate setting and share the stories behind them with Smallzy and the fans feels really special,” he says. “I can’t wait.”

The exclusive show lands as Hood juggles his breakout solo career with duties in 5SOS, the chart-topping band he’s helped steer for more than a decade.

Fans got the first taste of Hood’s solo sound last month with “Don’t Forget You Love Me”, the lead single from ORDER chaos ORDER, made alongside Day Wave’s Jackson Phillips, David Burris and English production team TMS. The album is set for release on June 13th.

“This album was made in a tumble dryer of knowing and not knowing. I started out with a vision – order – but quickly became overwhelmed by the process – chaos. Eventually, I learned to embrace both, and that balance became the heart of the record,” Hood said.

“There are things I’ve never been able to sing about in the band – my upbringing, my family, the places life has taken me. This album is about laying those things to rest and allowing listeners to connect in their own way.”

Fans will need to keep their ears on Nova for the ticket drop, entry details are set to roll out in the coming days.

Nova’s Red Room has a track record for intimate gigs with heavyweight names including Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and The Kid LAROI among them.'

It's SO funny that the Inquisition was, essentially, mostly a bunch of liars.

Varric is an unreliable narrator who according to Bianca tends to make up stories about what he wished would have happened. The Iron Bull is a Ben-Hassrath who will mostly act the same whether you've sacrificed the Chargers or not until *that moment* in Trespasser. Vivienne, while always frank in her opinion of you, is also absolutely a master of The Game. Sera runs with the Friends of Jenny, appears immature and pulls pranks on people, yet she does it with such skills that she is rarely caught. Solas is Solas. Blackwall/Thom Rainier? NO ONE does it like him. The advisors are not exempt either. While Leliana is obviously a spymaster, Josephine can and will destroy someone's reputation with nothing but a glove planted somewhere compromising. And Cullen? Is really cagey about his time as a templar. Even the Inquisitor is a fraud. Willingly or not, you gain an army because people believe that you are the Herald of Andraste. Which is patently false.

Then there's Cassandra Allegra Portia Calogera Filomena Pentaghast, Seeker of TRUTH. Cole, whose job is to blurt everyone's secrets aloud. And Dorian, who left the nest of backstabbing vipers that is Tevinter, only to traipse through sand and snow and mud with this organization of lying liars.

Danny is a new technician at a rebuilt star labs. He didn't want to at first because Danny thought it would cut into his undead superhero/prince duties. Eventually though Clockwork (bullied) encouraged him and as it turns out, the lab is pretty lax about sudden "trouble at home". Plus, Danny can help set things back together when one of the Flashes messes up the timeline AGAIN.

(Flashpoint is what allowed Dan to come back as quickly as he did in the first place.)

The flash family, for lack of a better description, are straining. They're all putting up painted smiles that Danny knows aren't happening with his coworkers. Danny wants to be friendly with them but they're keeping him at a constant arms length away.

Barry, wally, Bart, and the rest of the flash family are freaking OUT. Why wouldn't they, their new technician caused the apocalypse. Granted they only know this because of an old speed scout from Bart. But it didn't have the time to tell them anymore than the name and some powers of one Dan phantom before fading. The timeline line the one man disaster's from doesn't exist anymore so they can't even check what happened or why the Dan destroyed everything. They can't even get rid of him because what if that sets off the guy!
