Touch of his palms sliding up her thighs causes her to shiver slightly. Such a simple action causes her heart rate to quicken. There’s a soft smirk upon her lips as she dips her head to kiss him.

He can feel her tremble beneath his touch...and that simple reaction has such a startling effect on him. His fingers dig into her thighs, squeezing gently as their lips meet. Then a hand lifts to cup her cheek, and he presses into the kiss, his fingers sliding back into her hair to pull her in deeper.

Wolves in the Forest | Closed for Dcsidcrium

Medical school had taken a little bit longer than it had the time before, despite the doctor knowing most of it all already. It almost seemed like, every time she enrolled, they taught more and pushed the students more. But, now she was done. Although going off of that degree she was a new doctor, freshly out of school, Ashy had used different credentials to get her current job. She’d been hired as a new doctor at a clinic, serving as walk-in services and an ER for the small to medium towns around it. None of the towns had a hospital, with the closest being a good half-hour away, so the clinic was where everyone went. 

Apparently, they’d recently had additions put onto the building, making them able to hire more staff. Despite her age making people think she was much younger than she was (more so given she’d told them she’d been working for 8 years already), she’d applied for the job.

Ashy had gotten herself a nice little apartment, right in the middle of the biggest town, over a little ‘Mom & Pop’ flower store. But, with no hospitals around, she’d have to fill up her fridge with blood from local animals in the woods and forests around the towns. Of course, the vampire knew enough to bring more than enough blood packs to last her enough time to settle down, but she’d still need to find a new source of blood. Hence her exploring!

She’d taken to stalking through the forests one by one, getting a feel for them, seeing what animals all lived there. Lots of small animals, some deer here and there. But each was different, of course. Specifically, in one wooded area, Ashy spotted what looked like a wolf! She was far enough away from one of the smaller towns that it made sense, but it had still surprised her, considering she’d previously been tracking deer footprints.

The vampire changed her goal; now she wanted to know where this wolf would take her, and if there were any more wolves! They could be a great source of blood, especially if there was a decent sized pack. She could kill most of them over time but leave enough for them to reproduce, which should hopefully keep her covered until people start to notice her age seemingly staying the same and she has to move away again.

Atem liked festivals just fine – he had grown up with many of them, after all. But anymore, he only wanted to be around so much before he wanted a break from it all.He wasn’t sure anymore when the transition occurred, his mind too fogged by now. But he knew he’d met this girl several times before. Passings-by, conventions, tournaments. They’d gotten coffee once or twice. It hardly mattered to him really, all he cared about right now was feeling her and running off of her reactions.And Atem liked this one. She didn’t make it as easy as others. Some play fighting, tousling, teasing – he made the mistake of pausing when she’d pinned him, and suddenly, he could feel her teeth in his neck.“Hh–” he grunted out, feeling an immediate rush run through him. He grinned, his grip tightening on her back. “Hnn, it’s like that now, is it…”Bucking himself against her, he rolled the over again, and he returned the favor, biting down into the crook of her neck with no sense of tenderness. He knew what kind of person she was in this shortly-met encounter. She wanted to play. He growled softly against her skin, hands wandering to grasp and tug.

Is it starting to get a bit too chilly for water gun fights? Probably. Is that going to stop her from emptying an entire super soaker of water onto Troy while he’s asleep in her bed? Absolutely not.

          Troy, unsuspecting and peaceful in his sleep, content and safe within the confines of covers and blankets, truly warm and soft within a land of dreams: a fool. 

         The first spray of water is a shock, tired eyes scrunch together until second hit makes them open in confusion – he doesn’t know what’s happening, but despite his hand waving to make whatever it is stop, it does nothing but make it worse as it’s hitting his face with more and more vigor. Man suffers in his confusion. There’s a baffled grunt, dazed does he try to flee in a panic but only rolls out of the bed, tangling himself even worse and he continues to mutter curses until he can finally blink through the chilled wetness at culprit. 

         Nikki standing on the bed with the water gun and a look of triumph. 

         Oh. He doesn’t like that.          So he stands. Quietly. Doesn’t say a word and takes the few short steps into the bathroom and locks the door.
